Smaller foot print Not enough drive bays I guess you can't have it each ways. Small and sufficient bays for hard drives. But it does have a location for additional tough drive on the bottom of the case. Buy additional fans for cooling.

I appreciate the way this case looks and feels. Simplistic and incredibly sturdy. Lots of locations to put fans also. Cable management. I place a 500w Earthwatts psu in there (also from Antec) and there is almost no space to route cables. I would advise this good quality case.

- Compact style. Nevertheless fits everything I want.- Excellent top quality - well built and sturdy.- Fair value.- Easy to run quietly with adequate cooling.- Just about no dust accumulation any exactly where immediately after a few months of use with intake fan at 1000RPM, exhaust at 900RPM.- No drive rails (rails are fine unless they are done wrong). - PSU integrated. Very good high quality 80 plus PSU but I nonetheless want choices.- Side panel duct - useless and/or gets in the way.- 2x92mm intake rather than single 120mm. A minor situation.- Not very clean routing cables out of the PSU chamber.- Cabling in general requires some effort but this isn't truly a con if you like this type of stuff.- The bottom mounted HDD can block access to lowest expansion card slot. Most complete size cards won't fit. - I don't know what to say about not becoming in a position to fit a single five.25 inch drive into this case as lengthy as the drive is no deeper than spec maximum. I was capable to fit a 7 inch extended three-in-2 HDD swap bay with about 1 inch of space left among the bay and the PSU. Additional than sufficient space to route cables around :D No cooling troubles doing this either.- Some review websites show examples for cleaning up cabling in the PSU chamber for this case - PSU can be mounted upside down.- Don't buy if you want lots of area to operate.

- Lots of area- 120mm fan- mATX- 80% + supply- Quality construction- Front panel is standard & functional- HD support on rubber thru-hole thingies- 3 position rear fan control speed switch- Pretty silent - Lots of space- 120mm fan- MB tray not removable- Too wide No case is great, but this one comes close. I experienced some problems fitting my DVD burner into the prime slot Ɣ pin MOLEX was hitting wire bundle exactly where it exits the supply) - had to snip off the plastic wire tie bundling the MB provide wires, which freed items up adequate to make it semi-comfortable & stashed the unused wires beneath the DVD drive. After placing in my MB (GA-MA785GMT-UD2H, a complete size mATX) I noticed that there have been a couple of inches left involving the MB edge and the front of the case which they could have trimmed (though I guess the supply orientation / size would have to transform). They also could have simply taken a couple of inches off of the width by mounting the 120mm fan on the side (where the CPU shroud is) and either putting smaller sized fans on the back or just vents. I'm a enormous "fan" of 120mm fans, but this a single adds so considerably to the width that it's crazy. I imply, I'm purchasing mATX for a purpose, I want a tiny personal computer!

Uncomplicated case to function with. I'm a fan of micro MB and casees. Strong energy provide and quiet If you need to have to set up several Harddrives this is not the case for you. Its challenging with installing /w a single accessible slot. I suggest buying a front case fan 90mm.

Size, Size, Size! Exceptional sheet metal top quality. Properly thought out design and style. Fits all tower CPU coolers. You can squeeze two HDs and 1 SSD with velcro. Silent and slick hunting. Excellent cooling with solution of 2 90mm upfront and 120 mm rear exhaust. Drill a hole and you can have further wires behind the motherboard tray. none, it delivers on it's original style. Appears great, solid construction, reasonable price, 80 Plus Certified PSU. As the preceding reviewer commented, cabling and holes from leading compartment to bottom are Extremely poorly placed. 180 degree flip of PSU also solved the difficulty for me.A substantially larger concern: the best compartment is also little for my optical drive. I attached the standard molex connector from the PSU to my drive and slipped in into the top drive bay. Before the drive is flush with the front of the case, the molex connector hits the casing of the PSU (about .five to 1" sticks out).I'm under the impression that optical drive dimensions are typical, but possibly mine is slightly deeper than normal Ɨ.75"). With a proper-angle power connector adapter, there's a SLIM possibility I can essentially wrench this drive in there. If not, this is a single of the dumbest style flaws I've ever noticed. It's a tight match all around, but with the exception of the optical drive, everything fits nicely. I'd in all probability give this case a five if not for the inexplicable optical drive depth problem.

Great power provide incorporated. Quite compact, very fairly but still very cool. Flip the PS and your life will be much easier, stuff the unused energy cables beneath the DVD drive up best. Pull only the cables you require into the key chamber. If you mount the challenging drive on the bottom, it might block the lowest expansion slot on your mobo, in my case its the pci-e x4 slot but im not going to use it. Read the silent pc critique of this case Before you get it. It is extremely smaller and some could discover it too little. I place an ASUS M2N-VM with an AMD 6000+, stock cooler, 250GB WD HDD on the bottom, Samsung SATA DVD burner in the prime. Strategy anything out just before you set up and expect to take issues out again and once more. When its collectively it is beautiful.

I agree that this is a strong, quality case for the cash. Excellent 380 watt power supply though I intend to throw a 512MB AGP card at it soon, so we will see it holds. Tight space. Awkward HDD placements and lack of "smart" angled SATA energy connectors. The spot exactly where the USB/FW/AUD cable connectors exit the bezel plastic demands superior adhesive. The cable sheathing separated on a single of these cables. SPACE: I consider that we like this case because it is small, neat, handsome, quiet, and strong. But that makes fitting disks and DVD drives a chore. For me, I ditched the HDD mounts and mounted a two-drive cage correct beneath and hanging from the FDD cage. This requires drilling and deburring, but now I have a shock dampened mount for two drives.ANGLED SATA: Discover to solder or disconnect an angled SATA molex from some old PSU. Also choose shallow DVD drives.

Little in size, excellent steel finish, really silent and efficient energy supply and silent fan, a lot of room in the reduced shelf for the micro atx motherboard. With E8500 ࿍ nm core 2 duo cpu), the cpu fan hardly turns on. hard drives are cushioned by the rubber pads. Assembly (in the decrease half or mother board) is effortless. wires a little cramped up in the upper 2 shelves, had problem fitting a challenging drive and a dvd drive. In particular providing sata power to each the drives was difficult. I had to use a sata to standard adapter and use the regular energy cable to energy the dvd drive. So if you are employing 2 or a lot more tough drives or dvd drives, assembly will be a tiny challenge. Wish cost have been a tiny less costly. Also, reset button really should have been concealed. My 10 month old child has turn into professional at targetting it. The USB sockets in the front are a tiny also tight. I believed putting the really hard disk at the base was genuinely a cool notion.

Little, quiet. Space to mount two shock-isolated challenging drives. The prime compartment holds the power provide and two optical drive slots, one of which can be employed for a shock-mounted HD. Unlike the earlier NSK3300, the NSK3480 holds a complete-sized energy supply, an Antec Earthwatts 380W model. There is only ~ 35 mm clearance involving the body of the power provide and my optical drive. That's pretty tight, thinking of that power cables and information cables for the drives have to match in there. There are two holes in the upper compartment for cables. The one particular in the bottom is also narrow to fit the 24 pin power cable via. This indicates it has to go out the side hole. Because the cable comes out of the PS on the other side, this means that the 24 cable spans the width of the PS, blocking off about half the ventilation space of the PS. It also implies that the 24 pin and four pin power cables are nearly too quick to reach the connectors on my motherboard. I had to tug pretty challenging on the 24 pin cable to make it attain. four pin cable went by way of the bottom slot.

I really liked the layout, the compartment for the PS was tight but if you mount the HD in the lower part of the case you have plenty of area to stash all the further unused cables ubder the CD drive (make certain it's shorter in length). This is not for the faint of heart...wire management is a tester. I would undoubtedly add the two extra 92mm fans but the 120mm tri-cool was nice and very. Excellent searching case with a dash of challenge Nice! None In retrospect the toughest part of this build was wire management...like most ITX's you have to pay a lot of focus to the sequence of assembly.

Very good Boat Anchor Challenging drive placement an after thought, But they gave the builder the choice of which componant to discard. unless a front cooling fan is installed, there won't be any air flow across the MB. the 120 mm fan in the rear will pull air from the rear vents( even the PCI covers are vented) and out the rear of the case. The upper case installed with a DVD and a really hard drive is creating additional heat for the PSU which exhaust fan is the only air flow and design to only cool itself. no room to run wires from upper case to reduce case ƒ modest slots) wires block intake of PSU. No matter how nicely you program this out, you'll construct it twice or a lot more just before your frustrated even if you come across a DVD drive that will fit. I've used Antec cases prior to and this is NOT what I count on from them. Why 3 massive fans and a side vent ? My Harley dosent use that considerably air. They could use this room to make this case useable. Lots of small instances around you can do greater than this.

The Antec NSK3480 is an INTEL Thermally Advantaged Chassis (TAC v1.1 spec) incorporating an adjustable duct, a "Chassis Air Guide" on the left-side panel that directs cool air ~ not as opposed to a type of venturi ~ straight to your mATX CPU / NorthBridge heatsinks. (If you're a real geek, you can study all about this specification on Intel's website :)The Antec NSK3480 is best for, say ~ the INTEL D945GCLF2 1.6GHz dual-core ATOM N330 microATX motherboard, a single three.5" SATA HDD internal, and one particular 5.25" SATA ODD. The EA380 energy provide is non-modular, which signifies that there's all kindsa extra wires hanging off of it, and there's not much space to stuff them away all tidy-like in this chassis: THE TRICK IS TO FLIP THE P/S Over, upside-down, to route the wires out as cleanly as doable.Nonetheless, the Optical Disk Drive is a tight fit ~ this chassis seriously necessary to be 1cm longer, imho. As we move into this new, post-meltdown era, when quad-core 90W and 135Watt processors, and 650W-850Watt energy supplies appear, frankly ridiculous ~ and low watt / high-functionality processors (think "nettop" and "netbook") grow to be all the rage, configurations such as INTEL N330 ATOMs and EarthWatts power supplies and other "green" technologies are now not only feasible, but optimal solutions. If you haven't but purchased or built a small ATOM-primarily based machine, around a modest little chassis like the Antec NSK3480 (or NSK2480 "Home Theater" box), and challenged your self ~ not to build the meanest machine in the West, but the GREENEST machine feasible ~ then do your self a favor, you young eggs {grin} and prepare for the future ;-)

Cozy, tiny case with a clean and uncomplicated look; little footprint; reasonably quiet with 120mm fan at low setting; PSU is quiet and from Antec's solid EarthWatts lineup. The front panel is created of extremely flimsy plastic; the upper compartment is unbearably cramped, even with a quick optical drive; ATX energy connector and four-pin mobo energy are barely extended adequate to reach; and hilariously adequate, an overabundance of the other cabling from the PSU and the ridiculously long wires from the front ports just adds to the clutter. I wanted a MicroATX case and knew it would be tougher to work in than an ATX case, but this thing was a nightmare. I'm not confident if even a modular PSU would support. My individual recommendation would be to just get a standard ATX case.

This is a extremely quiet and properly-constructed case. It has a fair quantity of area thinking of it is MicroATX. I have CD/DVD mounted in the leading slot, with a challenging drive under it. 2nd hard drive is mounted on the floor of the case. The supplied rubber mounting hardware make these incredibly quiet. I'm working with a Gigabyte GA-MA69GM-S2H motherboard and had no issues with the fit. This is my second Antec case and I've been really satisfied with both purchases. It's definitely worth it to pay a tiny much more for a very good quality case. Not much room in between the energy supply and top rated drives, but sufficient to make it operate. Initially the energy provide wire bundle was not extended adequate to connect to my m/b. This simply because the bundle exited the energy supply on the opposite side from exactly where it entered the case. Problem solved by turning the power provide over. Excellent thing it could be mounted either way!

I was deceived by the amount of junk I could cram in to this case. Quiet. Comes with a energy supply. OMGLOLBBQ it has blue LEDs. The power provide must have been superior suited for the case. Yes, this utilizes a typical ATX energy provide, but the amount of cabling that comes with it is insane. Because there is 1 three.five" external drive bracket, and then one more bracket for a three.five" drive at the really bottom of the case, it would of made sense to add a few more inches to the SATA energy cabling. Also, the rear 120mm fan makes use of a typical molex plug, which indicates possessing to route fan power cable (which amazingly was extended) to where ever in the case you finish up tucking away the excess molex connector from the power provide. It would have been nice if Antec supplied an adapter so that the fan energy header off of the motherboard could of been utilized, or, in the first place, just applied a regular three pin fan plug.Last moan: The bottom difficult drive mount calls for 4 holes in the bottom of the case so that the silicon drive mounts can protrude and not be hindered. It may well have been superior to have the challenging drive sit on standoff Good case, extremely quiet. Sturdy as can be, does not bend or flex when stress is exerted on opposite corners of case.Sorry, had to add the blue LED comment. The Mrs. likes blue LEDs. I am so over the blue LED fad. Give me classic amber.Like others have mentioned, does require some organizing to put with each other. This reminds me of the olden days in assembling my third laptop, employing a 486dx2 (yes, there had been such beasts) and having to run power cables, and running AC to the power switch on the front of the case. Ahhh, I miss the old days.

Asus P5N micro ATX board, E8400 CPU and two GB RAM are creating it a fantastic economical machine for the time getting. Points had been a small tight, but what should I expect from a small case. Challenging drive was greater mounted on the bottom of case for me, which blocks access to MB slots. (I wasn't utilizing them).

If you're using a Micro ATX mobo and not a entire lot else, this is a reasonable decision. About as uncomplicated to function with as you could hope given its size, but requirements some patience and dexterity. Excellent top quality components which match effectively, no sharp edges. I agree with other folks that the PSU is too potent for the case. Case and PSU ought to be unbundled. Spacing of the very first SATA power connectors is too close to the PSU. I match a 7" DVD drive in the upper chamber, but that's about the limit.

- Solid style.- The little size is ideal for standard desktop systems.- Plenty of area to add fans if you want to beef up your hardware.- Good airflow.- Included PSU is great. I've ordered dozens of these cases and only a single had a bad PSU. Normally the rule of thumb with a case that includes a PSU is to throw it away, but Antec is a rare exception. They do make really good PSU's. - The tough drive mounting places are nonetheless silly.- Antec has updated their PSU's and the one they include in this case has two cables that mix SATA and molex ports together. Unfortunately, you'll have to considerably bend the cabling to plug in SATA devices because the molex ports are at the end. This is a minor problem when dealing with today's thinner HD's.- Cable management would be less complicated to deal with if they added some holes to the appropriate side of the interior surface where the MB is mounted. There truly isn't a lot of flexibility in keeping the interior clean.- Case is nevertheless way overpriced. I've been utilizing these circumstances for my desktop systems for a few years now, back when Antec initially released this case with no side vents and their proprietary PSU dimensions. They've made some improvements to the design, but a couple of a lot more tweaks would really make this case shine.Regardless of its flaws, it's a solid item that compliments my prefered hardware choices for home and workplace desktop systems. It's nevertheless overpriced compared to Antec's line of ATX circumstances. Nonetheless, I appreciate firing up a completed machine built in this case and hearing virtually no noise coming from the fans. It's a fantastic looking case that definitely exudes high quality.

Located adequate space for unused power wiring by operating it all down into the primary location, left fdd bay off and tied almost everything up there. sata HDD and Samsung DVD match fine up best. Not silent, but quiet. Required adapter for 4 pin to 8 pin 12v cpu power. sata power cable setup tends to make it tough or impossible to connect 2 drives on 1 cable.
