Cons: misalignment in back panel to access holes for harddrive cageOld model had pre fastened centre mount standoff, this one does not.Smaller internal motherboard tray then old model, much tigher fit for standard ATX boards.Weak front 5.25" faceplate metal space filler panels can pop right off during shipping and then fly around in your case.Ncix does not know how to ship cases, boxes alwasy arrive damaged and dirty.

I have bought a lot of the older NSK4480 cases in the past as they are nice simple cases good for the average business / non gamming pc. Now we have this new revision II model which has improved on some things, and made other things worse. Here are my experiences so far. First off the case is much more sturdy, as Antec has reinforced the bottom back end to prevent the case from being crushed in shipping ( somthin that has happend to me on more then one occasion with the old model ) , Antec has also improved the foam packaging improving the fit and thickness of the foam, which also improves its ability to survive the horrible shipping it endures when i receive any case from NCIX. for some reason ncix indiviually ships these without repackaging or wrapping them even when you order a bunch, thus they always arrive all crushed and dirty. Fortunately the new antec design will help however the boxes always look awful especially if you are building a pc for friends or family. The issues with this case are as follows: The case motherboard tray is now a little smaller, such that it is now much harder to fit a standard ATX board into this case ( it really is a tight fit ) if you havent built in one of these cases before it is very easy to accidentaly damage your board if your not careful. Also the back holes in the motherboard tray to access the back screws on the harddrives are missaligned and there is really only one level that you can access,, so if you have more then one harddrive you will have to yank out the whole harddrive cage, then put in your drives then remount the whole cage. Also for some reason this new model no longer comes with the pre mounted center motherboard post, which is unfortunate because that post really did help in the installation alignment in the old model case. It is unfortunate that these new issues are here which were not present in the old design. If a more rigid case is not important to you i would stick with buying the older cases while they last, since overall that was the only really useful thing improved in this new model.
