Cons: video stream for ipad is not working

Pros: Easy to setup, good price for the functions and battery seem to be ok.
Comment:
Tried with Android phone video streaming works and prompt you to open with your choice of apps. The same doesn't work with ipad. The app is easy to use. Any other owner has video streaming problem with IOS? I can download it to ipad and play back but it takes time to download and slow, plus it defeat the purpose to have it on external drive.

Cons: Manual is garbagecopying over wifi is a bit slow, so dont rushCannot be connected to USB and act as Wifi hot spot, not smart enough for that.

Pros: USB 3 - it's quick to copy stuff over$50 on sale, cannot compareGreat idea to share over wifi
Comment:
This device is pretty interesting. I purchased it just because it was on sale and seemed interesting. I did not really require it, but i love new tech. One button to power the device on and off, i guess that's all you really need. The LED indicators on top tell you what it's doing. The device is pretty slow copying over Wifi, and having two devices connected to it is not the best idea. Now i wish there was a way to connect my Canon 6D to this sucker over Wifi and I'd be super happy. Cons: Make sure that you connect to Wifi Drive first. After the first setup, everything else is easy.

Pros: Easy to share photos, media files between iOS and Android. Smooth when watching video.
Comment:
RJ45 Port is useful when you check in to some hotels where RJ45 connection is free, but allow only a max of 2 free signin per room.

Cons: Software download from site EXTREMELY slow and keeps timing out, so you need to connect to PC or MAC through USB cable to transfer files. Support almost non-existent.

Pros: Wireless connection, great battery life, replaceable hard drive, Can use ExFAT file system for use with MAC, PC, or Linux, can be used as repeater for wireless or router for wired networks.

Cons: Poor documentation, only windows formatted hard drives recognized. Case is shiny, but will likely be scratched up quickly with handling.

Pros: Compact, battery operated
Comment:
It's a great additional hard drive accessible from my iphone and other devices. I placed a 1 TB 2.5" hard drive and will be a great device to have around for the iPad, iPhone and iPods I have around the house. However, was gravely disappointed with the drive requiring to be Windows formatted. The documentation doesn't say that at all and had wasted a lot of time trying to figure this out. Despite that there is a convenient app available for the Apple devices, the files are arranged in a Windows fashion. It does not recognize the Apple format of organizing Music, Movies, Documents, etc. Could be that I need more time to figure this out, but again, it's not in any of their documentation. When I finally discovered that the hard drive needs to be Windows formatted, I figure that'd be the case with the file organization as well. Grave disappointment for Apple users.
