Cons: None to think off

Pros: Nice design
Comment:
only thing to note, the air blows upwards, instead of sucking down, so make sure the fan on your laptop blows the air the same way (some exhaust towards the bottom, while others will pull air in from the bottom and exhaust the back) This review was modfied by poster @ 11-19-09 05:13 PM

Cons: Loud on high, sharp edges, needs two powered USB ports (has 4, net 2). No power adapter, compatible with them but then you can't use the USB hub.

Pros: Strong, well built, moves air, variable fan adjuster, gives you two USB ports.
Comment:
*temp stats below* Mixed review. I learned a lesson in external vs. internal cooling. On idle the temps were down 7 degrees but with load (when it matters) it did 1-2 degrees if anything. Probably because it blows air onto the laptop base and when the internal fan is trying to exhaust air it's fighting these fans to do it, so maybe research and see if you can switch the direction (easy with a screwdriver) one of the fans to follow your air flow pattern. The fans were pretty loud so I replaced them all with Noctua NF-P12-1300 (easy 20 minutes mod, no solder 3-pin connectors on the inside of this guy) which made it silent on low and moved slightly more on high [and made it really ugly without a laptop on it, beige and tan don't mix with black and sliver- but I'll take the performance & silence] Also I picked up a variable DC voltage adapter from NCIX and with the right tip it powers this but not as well as the USB connections even at 12V 500mA, also overpowering this guy may have fried the relay... oops. Don't connect any USB cord to your computer when DC powering this guy, there somehow parallel so it sends power to your laptop. Testing done on a Unibody MacBook Pro positioned rather low, using Temperature Monitor after around 10-20 minutes of load (whenever it was level for 5 minutes) Obviously your milage will vary.
