Cons: EXPENSIVE

Pros: The RAMs are speedy and are pretty much as good as it gets for DDR2 now that they are going extinct.
Comment:
Holy smokes did the price go up or what?! I guess they are not making them anymore. I don't recommend buying them at $140 at all. Stick with the DDR2-800s or buy them used. If it weren't for the price, these RAMs would receive 5 stars for being fast and reliable. However for $140, the terrible price starts to outweigh the good points.

Got memory in a very timely fashion and it took a couple weeks before I took the memory and all other components for an AMD Athlon II 635 build. Opened the memory, one module worked perfectly and the other was bent so badly it had to be returned. I think it's a solid company with pretty solid products - wish that they or their packagers had taken more care in packaging!

What you have to realize is that to run mem. at 1066Mhz you must have a compatable processor and mobo. Secondly you may have go into setup (BIOS) to enable 1066Mhz. I use the Asus M3A78-EM board with the Athlon X2 7750 black proc., currently my memory is slightly oc'd to 1094Mhz and is running perfectly. The motherboard owner's manual is your friend!

Would not boot at stock speed of 1033 on Gigabyte GA-M68M-S2P. Ran fine at 800 Mhz. Moved the ram to a Gigabyte GA-MA790X-UD4P and would boot at 1033 fine but blue screens. Finally moved to Asus M3A78-EM and I guess because of the processor multiplier the ram is running at a lower speed and is happy. I don't blame the ram but would not buy again for Gigabyte boards. G Skill is running fine on both Gigabyte boards at 1033.

I got this set for a major upgrade on my pc and one stick was bad when I got it, they refunded me without question. The other stick seemed to run like a champ til I returned them. Found out my new MoBo only supported 1.85V to the ram so I never got the chance to try it at 1066. Other than the defective stick(it happens) I can't say that I wouldn't recommend it

I had been looking for some RAM for a while and with a low budget, I had assumed I would be getting a low quality product. Strangely enough, This RAM works really well and I would recommend to anyone.

Pros: First try booted up, no problems

First try booted up, no problems, with Asus M4A785-M, no settings required with motherboard, defaults to 800 MHZ 5-5-5-18. Ran memtest86+ no problems. Didn't bother trying to increase speed.

My 1st time using OCZ memory. Installed 4g on win 7 64 bit machine and it works great, Overclocked to 1066mhz easily in BIOS. I will be using OCZ in the future.

Cons: Requires 2.2V

Pros: Heatspreaders, great price after rebate
Comment:
Excellent memory -- if your motherboard can support the 2.2V necessary to guarantee the specified speeds. Some boards only support up to 2.1V, which may or may not be sufficient. One set worked perfectly at 2.1V, while another set needed the full 2.2V. Otherwise, no problems whatsoever.

I bought 2x4gig of this ram, i can't use it at its full potentiel due to my motherboard and processor but still doing an amazing job, no problem with it. If you need DDR2 ram its a good buy.

I installed 2 kits (8gb total) in my Win7 x64 machine and it fired up right away with no problems. Boot is quite a bit faster, but I only had 3gb in it before so that doesn't say much. I am becoming a big fan of OCZ memory, and would recommend it to anyone who is looking for affordable memory.

one module fails 3 days after installation. It took about 2 weeks to get replacement under warranty, after contacting the manufacturer. On my M4A785-M MB, I need to manually set the memory clock to 533Mhz in BIOS and all other memory parameters MUST be set to AUTO to get the advertised 1066Mhz speed. Otherwise, MB would not boot. They work fine now, but only after days of trial and error.

This ram is pretty good though it gave me a blue screen with Assus at the begining, not doing it anymore though.

I bought this, and dont know if it is running at 1066 MHz, but it is a great upgrade from the DDR 3200 system I was running with 1 GB ram, so I am happy with it!! The system I have is doing everything that I could ask out of it, so no complaints here!!

My system doesnt recognize this RAM as 1066mhz only 800mhz so its a little upsetting. It doesnt overclock well like it is advertised to either. All I ever bought in the past was another brand specifically that starts with a king

OCZ does it again. This is a great product. Lots of attention to detail on the grills and the pcb. A great product just didn't work for me. Make sure to check your board manufacturers approved RAM List. I have an ASUS M3N78 Pro and the board saw the ram fine ... as 800 Mhz. Won't run 1066 in ganged mode and would not see this as 1066 in any stable configuration... The other OCZ Ram I have is Awesome though... My fault for not checking.

Nice ram however, when I first installed it, I got blue screen of death even trying with different configuration. Had to return for exchange, used my old rams with no BSOD. Received the new one and still have issues with BSOD every so often still but not as frequent. Not sure if the new ram is still bad or not compatible with my board.

I got mine and I refund the thing cause my one of the sticks were broken. It woudlnt even install windows 7 with one stick. There was something bad about this ram I really didnt even want to find out so I left it at that. Oh and one thing for sure. This things are not 1066MHz. they were set on 80MHz out of the box even when I reset my mobo with them inside. I didnt want to manually put it in 1066 because I was too tired of deleaning with problems.

Pros: Fast ram. Cheap (with MIR)
Comment:
I bought a pair of these when they were 40$ after MIR and thought it was a steal at that price. Plugged it into a new system and adjusted the voltage, timings and bus speed. All of my ram at home is OCZ thanks to their unbeatable prices after MIR. I even installed some in my work PC! In total I have had 10 sticks of OCZ DDR2 ram, all different products with MIR's, and they all work fantastic! All MIR's came in fine, though I once had to wait 6 months for one.
