I purchased these to upgrade the memory in a new computer as it was substantially cheaper than buying the memory from the vendor. These have certainly done the job. I ran Memtest86 and the whole 12GB passed with no errors.

plugged this 12Gb set into a Vista Ultimate box (e.g. a resource hog) and it opens my Photoshop 500Mb digital image files in 3-4 seconds... there may be better pure performing ram modules out there, but the price-to-speed ratio of this set is ridiculously too good to pass up. Glad I bought this set before they sold out, and the rebate is a nice bonus too.

At the current pricing its the got some nice latencies. I went with this because I was trying to find a low latencies/High speed, with a price that wasnt around the cost of a Cadillac's monthly lease rate. There are plenty of faster Dimms but the 7-7-7-20 of this, tested set with OC'ing possibilities made it a very nice set that I expect will be used for years to come. If you're lucky and can get the rebate, at 155$ this is a deal thats worth looking into especially since similar 6G sets cost almost as much as this 12G
