Cons: not modular power supply, not 80+

It's good power supply for a basic gamer. i have it on SLI with 2 gtx 260. i also used one gt 210 as a physic card. put 4 one TB hd and 1 1.5 TB hd. everything running smooth. |

Replaced a year old 700 watt unit. Big difference,use to have memory errors or lockups. They are gone!!!!!!! Cables are large and stiff. If that is what it takes, OK |

I bought the refurb with free ship and saved a lot more as its the same product that's passed inspection and tested .. these are great for the price and features .. they hold up on par and out due some of the higher end psu .. i work on local computers and have replaced a many brands .. these have great reviews unlike mentioned search and read for your self. |

I got 11 months out of this power supply, then it failed. My computer was shutting down randomly. Swapped it out and I'm back up and running. It also doesn't have a 8 pin PCIE. My BFG GTX280OC requires 1x6 pin PCIE and 1x8 Pin PCIE, so you have to use the 2 6 pin PCIE plugs to convert to a 8 pin and 2 molex 12v plugs to convert to the extra 6 pin PCIE required. So in all you need to use 4 12v leads to power just the GPU. Thats pretty much all the leads except the SATA leads. So any IDE drives and fans will have to share. Not the way to go. I'm in the middle of getting a RMA from OCZ, but I will sell the one I get back. I have already ordered a different supply. If you have a small not so power hungry GPU then this will work but its rated for SLI.... I think not.. not 2 280's. |

Apparently this unit has a history of being garbage. There are several documented complaints that I should have researched before buying. It will not completely power-on. The unit will flash on and then turn off repeatedly. I replaced with a quality Corsair power supply which works perfectly. Do NOT waste your time and money on this junk. Go with a better quality company that will actually answer their phones and not blame other components of the computer. OCZ, you Fail. |

This psu can handle whatever you throw at it for a decent price! However, the fan's noise level is enough to drown out two hard drives, an aftermarket i7 cooler, a 4870x2 and five other fans. |

I thought this was a great buy. It supplies plenty of power for my asus P5N72-T premium mother board, my EVGA GeForce GTX 260 superclocked and my q8200 quad core. if you are into gaming computers this is the way to go if you want to build an extreme machine. |

What can i say, it runs everything, makes very little noise, fit in the case just right, had enough wires to run everything in my case, and when i put more Video cards in, it has enough left over for those. Great Power Supply... |

Worked well for the first 8 months or so, and then it wouldn't put out the same amount of power it should have. Read reviews and other reports else where, thinking that maybe something else in my computer had died until a friend tested this PSU to find out it was under preforming and basically dead. Not quite sure if I want to try any other OCZ products, but it did work well for awhile. Also, I did not overclock or any other modifications outside of a 'regular' computer. |

I bought this PSU as a direct replacement for my BFG 800 which went out for some reason. It works perfect everything was a direct fit. Shipping came in 1 day quicker than posted on ups. The blue light is a plus but it really didn't matter. My only complaint is the power cord to the PSU wasn't that good. Even though I pushed it in tight still was lose but I fixed this problem by using my old cord but other than that it works great. Recommend to all. |

I hand built a new gaming PC (PhenomIIx4) and added this to my bundle because the one that came with my case (650watt) was not enough. I needed and SLI approved power supply to run 2.5 GIGs of Radeon X fire video cards. This is it folks. Stable and smooth and even as cosmetic, it glows blue. Great buy...would recommend it to any gamer. |

great psu! i just built my rig and this baby is cool and quiet... there's still a bunch of cables which will soon find devices!! even organizing the cables in the case is easy because each set is in a flex wire mesh. OCZ and you guys are the best deal!! |

This is a great PSU. I always use OCZ. I only wish. I would have gotten the one where you can removes and add rails as needed. Wires are very long for a full ATX case. Very quite. Very good price. I probably could have use my ocz 700w only a yr old. |
