Cons: Has the worst thumbscrews you'll ever find(May be because I got it used)

Pros: Cools well, looks amazing, Cools well, isn't too loud
Comment:
This is an amazing heatsink, but holy cow those thumbscrews are bad. My computer is effectively junked for a few weeks because its broken and I need to get a new heatsink. (Please note it was used) But still, you can't rely on those thumbscrews, so if you take off your heatsink on a regular basis for whatever reason, it's surgery really because its so easy to bend some of the parts and you have to push so hard into the motherboard with it. If you buy it please be careful

Buyed on sale with a cheap oem CPU. Easy to install on a new build, came with all the necessary brackets. The fan is really quiet and cool the cpu well.

Cons: Huge and heavy. May not fit. Fan is a pain to install.

Pros: Good cooling.
Comment:
This broke TWO mounting brackets!! There's a reason OCZ doesn't list the weight of this unit. It's 745g!! As you can imagine, it is very hard to get a replacement mounting bracket, you'll have to dig through used PC shops and they WILL over charge you for the part. Although it cools well, it's too heavy, and too tall. The fact that it tears mounting should be enough to send you running.

Cons: Now I can hear my Samsung T220 making a high pitch noise :(

Pros: Quiet and keeps the CPU cool (at least 5 degrees lower than stock Intel heat sink)
Comment:
Keeps the CPU cool under load at the lowest rpm (1300).

Pros: amazing, quiet, cools well, lookgs great

This is amazing. Works great on my quad intel 9550 overclocked from 2.8 to 3.2ghz.The only thing you should be careful with, as others have mentioned, is to carefully remove the sticker on the radiator. I used 99% rubbing alcohol, and the glue was removed pretty quickly, I tell you :)I even got my rebate, so can't complain.

Cons: Space between the fan and heatsink

Pros: Cools better than stock heatsink
Comment:
Although it has some flaws, they are so minor compared to the great cooling performance. For mild overclockers, this should get the job done. Otherwise, consider the next level up, the Vendetta 2.

Cons: - stupid push-pins - Vendetta 2 is usually available for just a little more $$$

Pros: - cheap - excellent price/performance
Comment:
Overall, a good cooler if you're on a budget. I would however, push people towards the Vendetta 2 since it is newer and usually just a little more money. As for performance, it's very quiet and keeps temperatures down allowing for a decent OC (given that it costs $30). My one major gripe with this cooler is that it uses push pins for LGA775 (difficult to attach all 4 fully), it would have been nice to have a mounting bracket for the back of the MB so it could be screwed on instead.

Cons: Cumbersome fan mounting silicone mountsTerrible tape on the bottom

Pros: CheapCools wellNice looking
Comment:
For the price of $15 it is a steal, but i would not buy it at full price... I took 10 minutes to take off the tape residue and 30 minutes to put the fan mounts on.

Cons: The fan is loud at maximum. The instruction for the installation is not very clear.

Pros: Very easy to install for a beginner. The price is very good. The cpu temperature has dropped at least 10C. I can overclock my amd cpu quite a bit.
Comment:
At this price and performance, it's hard to find a substitute. I am quite happy with this heatsink. The fan is quite loud at full capacity. A good budget cpu heatsink.

Pros: QuietKeeps CPU Cool
Comment:
I was happy when I purchase this. My old 120mm fan was getting very annoying with that whining noise. This heatsink sure keeps the cpu cool by about 3c degrees cooler. It is huge, so make sure you have room in your case! Mine barely fits in a old eMachine case.

Cons: a bit loud at 2300rpmno huge temperature difference

Pros: very cheap when its on salecomes with thermal paste
Comment:
There wasn't a significant temperature difference on e8400, maybe a 4 degree drop. Runs silent at idle; after 1700rpm, you can start to hear the noise. The cpu contact surface is hard to clean but for the price, it was a good buy.

Cons: Noisy fan, and OCZ put some really sticky adhesive tape to protect the copper pipe base. Thanks to that I had to spent hour to clean it up completely.

Pros: Good value, okay cooling performance. Draws air from bottom to top in AM2+/AM3 style motherboards, which is okay if you have a case like Antec 300 which has an exhaust fan on the top.Good quality overall.
Comment:
This is a good heatsink fan for the budget, but you will have to spend time cleaning off those glue residue left by the adhesive protector. If you value your time, you should invest a bit more on something bit higher end (for example: Scythe is a higher quality brand for HSF) This review was modfied by poster @ 11-12-09 04:25 PM

Cons: - noisy fan at full 2800RPM- excessive adhesive reside on bottom of sink- Intel style push-pin mount for LGA775

Pros: - exposed heat pipe design- build quality- performance vs price- ease of installation
Comment:
One of the best HSF for the price. For heavy OCing applications, look to the Thermalright Ultra 120 Extreme (and pay the price premium). Yes, the fan is noisy at full speed however the Q-fan setting in the BIOS can remedy this. Using the "silent mode" ~1300RPM, the fan can not be heard. If you want to extract the full cooling performance, consider changing the fan to say the Scythe S-FLEX SFF92B 92MM. The sink bottom is covered with a protective strip of heavy clear packing tape. Once its removed, a thick layer of adhesive remains which took some effort to remove.Installation tips: insert  the rubber pins for the fan mount into the sink fins first. Since the heat pipes are exposed, there are small gaps between the copper pipe and the aluminum sink base. Apply thin line of TIM (thermal paste)that will cross all the pipes when you attach it to the MB. This way each pipe will have some TIM.

Pros: good price on saleoverclocked my e5200 to 3.6ghzway better then stocklight
Comment:
good price when I got it a lot better then stock e5200 coolernot heavy light weightMy e5200 temps are 39idle 63 load using core temp with overclock of 300x12 3.6ghz at 1.34v coreand prime95 running for over 17hrs with 0 errorstape on the base left glue and had to clean it there was a finger print in the copper pipes under the glue with corrosion probably some one touched it be for the tape was appliedso I did some lapping of the base with 600 sand paper it's nice and shiny now :)Push pins are vary hard to get in thought I was going to damage my motherboard but all went well.rubber damping pins you use to attach the fan are bit of a pain to install watch you don't cut your self when installing the fanalso the fan is loud if its running at full speed its quiet after I enabled smart fan in the bios though.was a vary good deal when it was on sale and works well

Cons: None for the price! The tape on the base left glue, which needed to be thoroughly cleaned with alcohol, before using.

Pros: Price: I bought this a few weeks back for $20 less a $5 rebate. I actually sent in the rebate! It works far better than stock, for a decent price. At first I hated those rubber fan mountings, but they do seem to reduce noise.
Comment:
This seems to be a great cheap solution for refitting/upgrading old machines. It's not for maximum cooling which as most people know costs money. But a a great cheap solution with included hardware, it can't be beat for the price.

Cons: Instructions were a bit confusing. Its very tall, almost hits the side panel of my Mid ATX case, and can't use a side fan because of it

Pros: Great cooler & fan for the price. After installation without any overclocking, it dropped my core temps average of 10degrees
Comment:
Excellent cooler (with Scythe Kama fan). Nice compact size. Easy installation. Highly recommended! I used ArticSilver5 and spread a very thin layer on the entire top of CPU. I figured the cracks in the cooler bottom would help to eliminate any air bubbles. This cooler it not so large that it blocks any RAM slots or other components, but it does a great job keeping things cool. I could not be more happy with a cooler for the price.

Cons: only 9cm fan

Pros: price at time of purchase
Comment:
for the price, I couldn't find a better cooler. I actually added it to my cart thinking that it was the vendetta 2 (main difference b/w the two are that the vendetta 2 uses a 12cm fan whereas the vendetta uses a 9cm one). Since I was only using this for a C2D E4400, it didn't matter too much to me.

Cons: It came with push pins!! );

Pros: Not heavy, light aluminum fins.
Comment:
I thought the thermal grease that came with the heat-sink would suck because MOST people say the thermal grease are "shit". The thermal grease is actually pretty good, no need to buy MX-2 or Arctic Freezer if you don't care about 1-4C difference.

This fan kept my 7850 kuma dual core at 21c on idle. The fins dissipate heat very well including the really good fan that comes with it. I bought this when it was for 29.99$ and today i see it for 15$ i would reccomend this item 5/5. " note-ing my 7850kuma clocked at 3.392ghrz with 1.45volts and 4%acc on a sb750 gigabyte mortherboard."

I just installed this cooler on my ASUS P5QL-PRO/C2Q Q6600, and I must say that I am very satisfied. This cooler looks amazing in my Antec 300 case. Installation was a charm. I used the following backplate in order to get a more solid fit:Thermalright LGA775 BOLT-THRU Kit for Ultra 90/120 & HR-01 Retail BoxThis cooler removed ~15-20 degrees at full load, and ~5-10 degrees at idle.I recommend this cooler to all overclockers!
