Cons: bignon souldered fins

Pros: quietnot to heavy for sizenice lookingmodest performance
Comment:
Does the job it was ment to do! Gets good cooling numbers ,Would shurly get better numbers if the cooling fins were closser together and if fins where souldered to the heat pipes insted of just friction fit!!!

Cons: Direct copy of scythe ninja in every way

Pros: Price, performance, brand
Comment:
This product works great, and I had no trouble installing it. It's exactly the same as my scythe ninja, though that's not really a bad thing for me as a consumer, it's just poor form on the part of the designer.

Cons: Mounting bracket not the best, ok performance

Pros: Price ($13)
Comment:
I got this on sale for $13 to replace a stock AM2 cooler that I was using on a Phenom II X4. It took me a long time to figure out how to snap the mounting bracket on to my motherboard because the heatsink clips were not set at the correct height and were too tight to snap onto the motherboard mount. I loosened them one notch, but then they did not clip very strongly to the motherboard. I worry a bit that the cooler is not securely fastened to the motherboard.Idle temperatures have gone down to around 35 degrees.Under load (Starcraft 2) I have seen them as high as 62 degrees. For the price, I am satisfied.

Cons: - it's large; make sure you measure before you buy- unlike blow-down coolers, this won't cool the components around the CPU socket

Pros: - spacing between fins allows for fanless cooling- out-of-the-box support for older hardware (939 in my case)
Comment:
If this cooler looks familiar, it's because it's an adaptation of the of the mostly highly regarded coolers in the market- the Scythe Ninja. They look roughly the same (fin spacing is slightly wider with the Ninja) and perform roughly the same. For those of you that are looking for silence- this is an excellent solution; it's efficient and the wide spacing between fins means you can use low-airflow fans or fanless cooling, and the processor will often run cooler than that noisy stock cooler. What's the advantage of this, compared to a Ninja? The price. In many stores, it's between 10-20 dollars cheaper than the Ninja. In the case of NCIX, it's often more expensive. It's just as good as the Ninja RevB (not that crappy copper version); If the Vindicator is on sale and is less expensive than the Ninja, then don't hesitate to get it. They're equivalent/interchangeable.

Cons: Huge! - if you have a smaller Motherboard ie biostar the copper heatpipe will obstruct the closest ram slot form being usableScreww break easily!

Pros: Keeps cpu cool even without fannicely polished.
Comment:
Looks good, cools nicely even without the fan. the downer is is obstruction of ram slots. I imagine all asus boards would be fine.My screws broke off while installing.
