Does what it's supposed to do. A little bit stiff. It does mechanically lock to the mating connector relatively effectively. Even so even at it's greatest SATA connectors have always been a little fragile. |

Fantastic top quality SATA three cable. Works as anticipated and looks very good carrying out it. Wish I didn't have to stop working with them. Round cables look good but with the OKGEAR cables it tends to make the connector flair out. This brought on problems with installation on my Mobo that has stacked SATA connections like I think just about all Mobo are now working with. I was nonetheless able to install them but the cables are pushing fairly hard into every single other and stressing the Mobo connectors. I'm getting flat cables to replace the eight round cables I have. If you your SATA controller has stacked SATA connections which I believe just about every thing does I would keep away from the round cables. I think OKGEAR wants to rethink these cables and flatten the ends so they are compatible with stacked SATA connections. Also they should have a warning on exactly where these can be applied. The excellent of the cables is quite good however so if you don't need to stack the cables then go for it. I'll be sticking with OKGEAR but getting the flat cables with the flat connectors. |

Well Produced, Nice Searching. They appear to be of excellent high quality. I got these 18" cables as nicely as a set of 6" A different reviewer stated that these cables didn’t play nicely with stacked Sata connectors, so I emailed Okgear to see if they had rectified the circumstance. I was told “problem connector is from old version”, sadly this was not true. The protrusion on the straight connector forces them to plug into the MoBo connector at an angle The dilemma was correctable, I just ground down the protrusion, but I didn’t want to nor ought to I of had to OKgear |

Correct Angles (not Left) to preserve the cables from binding in the HD cage on the side door of my case. They are blue and fairly. The grab points for the cables are rather fat and press on each and every other. I had to spread the 3 that I have across separate sata controllers. The can be stacked on leading of each and every other but not desirable. The grab points could be shaved down effortless but would be good if they just came in a bit skinnier. |

I necessary a new SATA cable for my HDD, and knew it only necessary to be about a foot and a half extended. This is a solid cable, has a metal clip for these hardware pieces that can allow for it (which is good, not obtaining to worry about cables falling out or becoming loose over time). Information tranfer prices are terrific. The straight finish was tricky to ascertain regardless of whether it was completely in or not. There is normally a bit of "give" when the cable is fully joined, and I got nothing from that. Not a major deal, booted up and factors were operating perfectly, but there is a specific satisfaction with hearing things "click". Other than that, great solution (and it was a bit of a whimsical -1 egg.) four.five Eggs if I could.Oh, and Newegg shipping of course - six eggs.
