600W, Active PFC, And Silent! Incredible Efficiency If Your Comp Has A Demand Around 300W. 1ǘ Energy Supplies Max = Greatest Efficiency. Yes, If Your Case Is Larger Than A MATX You Could Have An Problem With The Cable Lengths But For ฮ What Would You Expect? I've Employed This In Eight Builds Now And 3 Of Which Were ATX Mid Tower Situations And One particular Was A Complete ATX Case. Had To Void The Warranty And Expand Cable Lenghts For That One particular (At Owners Request) But It Performs. 1 HTPC Case And The Other Three Have been MATX Instances.

600w for a good value, not powering a higher finish machine. bought a superior one particular for my key riglarge and quiet fan is a plus the two 12v's had been attached to each and every other, and took me a couple minutes of profanity ahead of I realized it was there appears like a very good obtain so far, if anything goes wrong I'll update right here

Umm... The price tag, I guess. The specs seemed good on paper. It need to work fine for a non-gaming machine. It's not as highly effective as advertised. It ran fine and was steady until I began utilizing 3D applications. I ran CPU stress tests no issue for 9 hours. Then, I attempted some benchmarks and gaming (at stock frequencies). It emmitted a higher-pitched noise as if it had been in pain on just about every 3D application. Then, it gave up, and wouldn't even make it to the OS ahead of failing. I'm only runnin 1 challenging drive, 1 DVD burner, and two case fans on it. As per the specs, it ought to have no difficulty powering this rig... but in reality it falls brief. BUT, it is a ฮ energy supply. Replaced it with a spare 630w Xion PSU and the program runs flawlessly. -Gigabyte GA-MA790FXT-UD5P-Phenom II x3 720 Ɣth core enabled @ three.152 per core)-4GB G-Talent Dual-Channel DDR3 1600 (򜪀)-Gigabyte 1GB ATI Radeon 4890 (ﶶ core, 1000 mem)-500GB Western Digital SATA HD 16MB-LG SATA DVD Multi-burnerRefunding the solution for a distinct PSU. You get what you pay for.

A good PSU for the price tag, powers my AMD Phenom II x4 965 CPU and NVidia GTS250. Comes with tons of energy connectors for IDE drives and PCI-E elements. The problem with this PSU is the SATA connectors. It has 1 SATA energy line with two hubs on it, but the distance among the hubs is very quick. Depending on your case you will most likely want an IDE to SATA adapter if you want to power a tough drive and a DVD drive, or a number of tough drives. I required an adapter and I just have one HDD and 1 DVD drive. Fan performs nicely, keeps good and cool.

-Quite low-cost-600 watts-huge fan-Excellent seeking paint -Cables a bit short see other thoughts-Doa Mine came dead on arival, but for the most component i can inform this is a deecent energy provide. As long as you have nothing at all more than a mid tower, and are on a price range. Seeking forward to a working power provide.

Gets the job performed. Quieter than case fans! The SATA connectors have been as well short... Was forced to purchase one particular that hooked it into the standard perphiral slots. Atleast the now "extra" SATA connection I "saved" can be utilised for an added challenging drive.

Properly, you get what you pay for. Or in this case, you don't. Good cost if it worked. But it didn't. Didn't work out of the box. Installed it in a new develop, green light on mother board indicated that it was ready, but when the energy button was pressed, absolutely nothing. Tried my old energy supply on identical program, worked. So immediately after method of elimination, it is the energy supply that is undesirable.

Great and reliable for its value. Seriously cant beat it. Steady and quiet. I dont know what just about every a single is speaking about it getting also loud... Possibly they need some a lot more airflow. Cords are soooo tiny. It must let you know its designed for seriously little set ups. I have a medium sized tower and had to acquire extensions for my CPU and Motherboard energy connections.. Also, i cant hide any of the cords behind the case. Hence me giving it three eggs. If the cords could reach w/o extenders it would be 5Ǜ

*Plenty of peripheral connectorsƪpin / 8pin pci connectors*Have 8pin 12V rails for some mobos -Egg : Two SATA connectors, which are each close with each other, so if you have a SATA HD and a SATA optical drive, your optical drive will be on the bottom-most bay, and you HDD will be on the best of its bays. All round, its a great PSU. Operates great, the noise level is about 7 of of ten. Didn't blow my motherboard up, as one guy said -.-

600 watts for low-cost extremely poor high quality 1 egg purely because there is no egg alternative. Purchased two of these... initially one- fan did not function but psu did second one particular- DOA I am extremely disappointed that you can truly obtain dead components! Nevertheless Newegg's consumer service cant be beat! returns were no issue!

It does what it requirements to, can't complain there. I turned the psu on with no a motherboard hooked up (hot wired green wire to black) and it created a high pitched squeal noise. I only did that mainly because it was generating a noise whilst hooked up to the motherboard so I thought the motherboard was faulty. It's loud sufficient to not make me want yet another psu of that exact same model once more.

i reviewed it as loud but it seems the loud was the cpu cooler not installed adequately. there isnt really any sound. sturdy construciton for the psu. 140mm fan is quite nice.i was suprisd on the sturdy building as this is ฮ the cables are unsheathed excpet for major. the cables are to short. the cables are to close to every other. the 12v cable i believed was missing was connected or stuk with each other with yet another 12v to get the 8pin. it took about two mins to discover this out. dont his this will give me 600w with the look of the regualr cables that are unsheathed. but the 2 pcies kinda make me really feel more assured as im thinking of this as a a lot more a a lot more advanced psu compared to the ones that come with dell/hp/gateway computer systems.

Good price, well designed, quiet, Massive cooling fan actually aids out with temp problems. Demands more than just two SATA power connectors. Wonderful for the dollars, quiet and so far dependable. Time will tell, but it appears t be nicely made. Much better than expected.

Got this PSU a even though ago and it's been absolutely nothing but great so far. It powers a Q9550, four gigs of ram, three hard drives, and 2 5770's without an challenge. Brief cables. Get some extension cables for this guy. The 24 pin connector just barely reached and the 4 pin couldn't be routed behind the mobo tray, and even in front of it it couldn't be done with no cutting off the slot for my second 5770 and sound card, I necessary an extension to get about this problem. Great power for a good value. Just wish the cables had been longer that's all.

Low Price tag Cables had been FAR as well short for a full sized case. Never ever got to use it due to the fact I wasn't about to hook up a power provide and have to rig it just so the cables would reach. I could have bought extesions right after I discovered this out, but that would expense a lot more than the energy supply. If you want to develop a decent gaming machine, look elsewhere for your power. It also didn't have but two sata power cords. I had some adapters, but I wanted the other cords for my fans.

Very good cost, fantastic specs, two sets of four-pin connectors, 20Ʋ MB connectors. Arrived DOA. Place of input for A/C power cable conflicts with screw hole spacing on my ATX case, so I had to modify the situation to be in a position to install the PSU. four pin of the 20Ʋ pin connector does not have a locking clip, and connector can be inserted into MB incorrectly if you're not cautious. Standard four pin connectors are not as nice as those identified on the PSU it was bought to replace.
