Seasonic internals if I'm not mistaken. Modular cables (although I'm not employing 1 of the 8-pin ATX energy lines that's hardwired).. Helped a lot in a SFF construct! I didn't acquire right here but my gray unit had green modular sockets? Making use of this in a SFF construct with a SG02. Quite great except the CPU location in my case doesn't have good airflow at all. The air coming out the back is truly hot. Quite content about this unit. It actually doesnt appear as bad as it appears here! LOLi5 760, ATI 5850, 2x2GB DDR3, 1 SSD, 1 HD, 1 DVD

The PS performs and I have had no troubles with random shutdowns or unexpected failures. The fan is driving me crazy. It will be quiet for days, but abruptly some thing adjustments and it clicks off and on for hours. Absolutely nothing is visible/easily accessible from the outside of the case and you can't open it with no voiding the warranty. Primarily based on other testimonials, this is certainly a widespread dilemma with the PS; but the XFX customer support rep mentioned it is not a known issue. I have other XFX products and an happy with these, but not this 1. Buy some thing else.

Great Psu, quiet, design none. no clicking noise or any problems of any sort, cables were lengthy adequate to route all of them behind the motherboard tray in a HAF 922 which is actually good as other psus in this wattage variety dont have lengthy cables

It appears cool I plugged this poor boy in and three days later it had totally died. I am fortunate it only took itself with it rather of my program. Plugged in one more PSU and all was nicely with the globe. My method is about 150 watts below this PSU's 650 so it's not like I overloaded it. Had to modify the title of my overview apparently because my true sentiments have been not permitted.

Identical as my earlier critique Now it's seven days later and the fan rattles, excellent. Droping this a single to two eggs for the fan. Going back to Corsair. The fan in this unit is the only thing incorrect with it. Use greater fans XFX.

A lot of wattage to energy 5 HDs, a DVD drive, and dual video cards. Quiet operation. The modular aspect of the power provide is great with a lot much less clutter in my case. XFX is a excellent organization with excellent warranty coverage. This PSU came with 2 15-pin SATA modular cables and I required one more one particular. I contacted XFX and they sent an additional 1 out no cost of charge. I love XFX! None so far.

Point doesn't make a sound. I have it paired with a Thuban 3.two Ɩ-core AMD), and I had to double check just to make positive the PSU fan was running at all. None so far. Modular design is a godsend.

has stable power output and quiet...but as others have stated, theres a distinct 'clicking' noise from the fan. its quiet when the clicking noise isnt there, but after it starts up, its incredibly annoying. i have 6 fans in my case and when the clicking begins (it comes and goes), its quite noticeable. im not confident if the fan in the psu is balanced, but theres also a buzzing/humming in my situation. for the cost and output of this psu, its a good little package. even so, with just a bit additional dollars, a psu from a a lot more respected power provide money can be had. i wouldnt advise this case unless youd use it for gaming or residence theater setup.

Fantastic all about supply. I was worried with what board, cpu, difficult drives, memory etc. was gonna suck down. I've had it for two months now and I've gotten 5 SATA drives going with it, no problemo. I also enjoy the modularized cabling. No additional pushing unused power cables someplace else in the box, just connect what you need to have! :-) None

hasn't exploded however fan keeps clicking. purchased it 2 months ago, at 1st it clicked every once in awhile then would go away but now its clicking non cease. its working but is annoying.... I'd stay away from this psu, i know the 750w and 850w xfx psu's are nice but this one particular is sort of junky.

It seems to work OK at initial. *****POOR Quality**** Soon right after powering the method up, just like a different reviewer here mentioned, I start hearing a quite distinct clicking noise from the so known as "silent fan". This is clearly heard over every little thing in my technique. It also makes a humming/buzzing transistor noise that varies with load. It is not ready for market place and must be recalled. My create is pretty low noise, I go for passive elements that give the best efficiency within purpose (price point). This sort of good quality from XFX doesn't cut it...

This issue is HEAVY, really nice quality. I could use this factor to power my machine or fight off residence intruders. Fan is quiet, tons of hookups for the modular cables, PCI-e connectors everywhere for the SLI fanatics. The only issue that's kind of awkward about it is the wire bundle that's built into the PSU has 3 PCI-e connectors on it, so unless you're running SLI you're going to have a spare wire hogging up airflow space. Not adequate to take off an egg, just an observation. I'm just a little OCD about my case getting tidy. =) I like the bag they include for the modular cables. Good for storing your spares for later use. Rebate was also very easy to file by way of XFX.Individuals complaining about the fan, I don't have that issue at all. It's been operating 24ǝ for 2 weeks now and not a sound.Machine it's powering:Phenom II 965 BE @ 3.5ghz8GB Patriot DDR3 @ 1600mhzSapphire HD5870 2GB
