Cons: None

Pros: Great Overclocker, Crossfire Support, Intel Chipset
Comment:
Bought this board to set up a mid-priced gaming rig, has almost all the setting you wold need for overlocking. I would have to say it is better than any ASUS board I have owned. The layout is pretty perfect for my Antec 902 case.If you want a great board at a great price then try this one out.

Cons: Board is a little smaller in depth than a standard ATX board (no third row of board mounts), resulting in no support under the power and SATA connectors.Could use more connectors for chassis fans

Pros: Full Crossfire supportOverclocks wellGood priceGigabit LAN
Comment:
This is my second Asrock board and I am not disappointed. Fit easily in my Sonata III case (partly because of the weakness above). My Freezer 7 cooler came very close to the heatsink for the P45 chipset (had to bend the lowest fin. Installed it with an E5200 CPU, HD2600XT video and 4Gig RAM and it is performing flawlessly. Installed Windows 7 and required only one additional driver from the CD. Lots of options for future upgrades.

Cons: IDE doesn't work

Pros: Lots of features for the price
Comment:
This is a good-looking board and feature set looks impressive on paper. However, I'm having a few issues setting it up.First, it can't detect my two - or one - DVD-ROMs. It sees none during boot-up and in BIOS, not to mention that naturally Windows Vista doesn't see them either. Nothing helps, I've tried all possible SATA settings, reset BIOS to default etc.I have hi-performance OCZ Platinum RAM also bought from NCIX, which is on the supported RAM list for this board. The board doesn't detect it correctly and sets horrible slow timings. I don't mind this as much as the IDE situation since it can be corrected manually, but still.I like AsRock - my previous board, 939SLI32-eSATA2 was rock-solid - but this IDE thing is driving me crazy. I guess my experience would have been different if I didn't have IDE devices to hook up. This review was modfied by poster @ 04-09-09 12:37 PM

Cons: tricky bios for newcomer

Pros: Good overclocker, sharp looking, crossfire, very good price
Comment:
I'd say I'm very satisfied with this board, for $120 it's probably the best board I've ever owned paired with a q8200 and 2 hd 4850 big improvement over my phenom. The bios can be tricky for a first time intel owner but I'm sure I can get used to it lots of options for overclocking and the oc tuner can be used in windows is much more stable then amd's overdrive. The only thing is I can't seem to get my ram timings to stick it refuses to boot at the correct timings.
