Cons: Lack features--you get what you pay for.

Pros: Affordable.
Comment:
I bought this motherboard to replace a non bootable Acer motherboard. The size of the board is the same as the Acer so no problem assemble in the case. However, due to my lack of research, not realized this board doesn't have enough USB connector on board. Two top USB ports end up not being use, it is okay. I am happy with the purchased and the system is up and running.

Cons: limited expansion slots, slightly cramped

Pros: Cheap, does what its supposed to do, small form factor
Comment:
I bought this board for installing in my MAME cabinet computer. Its nice and cheap, and since its ASUS, it works without a hitch. It doesn't have a bunch a extra features, but if you aren't going to use those features anyway, why pay more? It has onboard sound, LAN, and a slot for a graphics card so you can even use it for gaming. If you need a simple socket 775 motherboard and price is a factor, get this.

Cons: little overclock feature, two fan connectors, Mugen cooler won't fit.

Pros: compact size, stable power, good price, 1000M LAN, short post time, DVI output, full FSB range.
Comment:
In BIOS, FSB range actually starts from 133MHz, to 800MHz, so it may be compatible with CPU like Pentium D 805 (133x20), even though such CPU is not on the compatible CPU list. There are 3 memory dividers, the first always result in no post in my build. The second one works good. The third one carries high RAM frequency, no attempt. There are voltage adjustment for RAM, NB, and SB, no vCore!! RAM timing settings are available under "Chipset" section. Overclocking profile has 5%,10%,15%,and 20% overclocking selections, but they do not rise the vCore, maybe they are only for convenience.Scythe Mugen(or Infinity) cooler won't fit. It is possible to install the cooler vertically, but the mounting bracket is pressing hard on the components left of the T socket. Horizontal installation is not possible. "X" shaped mounting brackets, the ones that Thermalright uses, should work fine with this board.NB and SB coolers are painted blue, made from alumminum, sufficient for cooling. On this board, I only see one 4-pin and one 3-pin fan connector. Not enough.Price matched to $54.52.Asus PG41-M LE/CSME6600 f 2.4GHz (266x9)Team Xtream DDR2 800MHz 2x1GB, 4-2-2-1-30Silverstone Stride 365W powersupplySeagate IDE 250GB harddriveantique dvd driveNZXT Lexa case

Cons: 2 memory slots

Pros: price, size
Comment:
This is a great entry level motherboard. It is very stable and can provide a small level of upgrades depending on what you start out with. It can support PCI-E video cards so is a great board to start building up from.

Had to change memory voltage from 1.8 to 1.9. or else it BSOD all the time. Since then its perfect. I use it for gaming with a good pciE card it perform very well. 55 for the price.

Cons: None at this point its only been running for 2 days.

Pros: Simple installation, i only use Asus boards, i love using mylogo it makes my business feel better about itself. Installed with Intel q9400/4gb OCZ ddr2 800 overclocked. Samsung dvd burner and wd 320gb drive for an office machine i built. No cons everything started right up. Had to change the date by a day. Like the G41 much better then G31 seems to run faster and smoother
Comment:
Came with 2 sata cables. Its about time everything is sata these days. Most of the cheaper boards only give you 1. Like the idea of corporate stable model. I was buying the g31 CSM but newegg was out of stock so i got this one and was pleasantly surprised the difference between the two

Cons: - only 2 memory slots- only 1 IDE port- no floppy port (not really an issue these days)

Pros: - Inexpensive- DVI and VGA outputs- GBit LAN- Basic but easy overclocking in BIOS
Comment:
This is a nice little board for a budget build, especially when on sale, but really you could throw a quad-core LGA775 CPU into it and it would work fine if you wanted to.I have it running with a dual-core Pentium E6500, and used the built-in overclocking options to clock it to 3.5GHz. I also used the integrated graphics to run the Star Craft 2 Beta, and it ran just fine, albeit on low settings.Since this was a replacement for a really old MB that died, I would have liked to have another IDE port to support my old, but functional, IDE magnetic and IDE optical drives. As it is, I purchased a $20 SATA DVD writer, and have the hard disks running off the single IDE port.

Got this to build a computer for my Dad and it is cheap and works well. He does not use much graphic mostly email so this is a good product for that. You can add a graphic card to it if greater graphic needs are needed.

Pros: -Price-Good Budget MB
Comment:
This was the motherboard for my recent budget build. I try to stay with Asus for all my builds as I've had nothing but good luck with them. And this MB does the job as well. Again, not for gamers, but had all the features my friend needed for his budget PC. I would definitely recommend for a small budget PC.

So far it has been great for the money. Everything worked as advertised. There was a bios update avilable when I got it, the software let me know and did the update with no problem at all. I would like it to wake from usb keyboard when in standby but I have not figured out how to make it, it might not. Not a big deal. Love the overclocking features, have not kept any settings long, but they have worked so far without any hassles.

I bought this board with the Intel 5300 CPU. It was a great price and it is very fast for a second family computer and can run all programs without the addition of a Graphics Card. At first the computer locked up a couple of times but after changing to 2 2gig 800Mhz memory (4Gig total) and I am running Windows 7 professional at 64 bit. Except for the graphics, Windows Experience Index measure Subscore is 5.9 all across the board. Highly recomend it! Browsing the internet through my Netgear-Ethernet wall plug from the second level, It' nice.

Had an old case with a dead mobo, so bought this motherboard with a dual-core E6500, power supply, hard drive and DVD burner. When installed, it wouldn't boot, but it turned out to be the power supply. It seems to be a good package with the memory and CPU - boots Windows XP Home in about 10 seconds. No problems so far.

Built a system for a friend and used this board. Excellent board for the price. The only thing that upset me was their wasn't a back plate for the case. So now their is this big whole in the back of the case where you input KB,Mouse,VGA etc!! Otherwise great for the price..fast and steady!!!

I just built a new computer for the family and used this board. It has exceeded my expectations. The stock board graphics are good but with a minimal video card upgrade the whole package comes together.

I was building this computer for my Grandfather. His first computer ever at 84 years old. To him four hundred dollars is allot of money. So I order this motherboard and have everything installed push the power and no Boot or No Post. I check the CPU, RAM, PSU the only thing left it could be is the motherboard. I have been building computers for along time. But this is the fourth product I have ordered in a short period of time that has showed up from this retailer dead or dying. There is a problem here. When asked if they would do a Advanced RMA because of the horrible time with their company I have been having. They responded we don't do that anymore. Funny other retailers do if there is a problem! Well now I know...Let's hope this is the last problem for awhile. We will see how the board actually works when the replacement comes today.
