It really is. Cheap price wise- that is. As far as performance, I have had 0 issues with this board. Performed great right out of the box, and exceeded all of my expectations when it comes to speed. Partnered it with an E5300 Processor and 4GB of DDR2. It was intended to be a work computer, but I can play some not-so-graphically intense games on it too. Running it with Windows 7 Basic (cause I'm cheap), and I have no problems. Great board for a first build or a non-gaming or very lite-gaming system. Well worth the money. |

I bought this as part of a bare bones system from T.D. It came with an Intel dual core E5300 processor, 2Gb of memory (PC5400), case, and powersupply; all for $200. I put Windows 7 Pro 32-bit on it. This is my wife's PC which is used mainly for email, light word processing and chat utilities. I migrated the wireless g card from our old Pentium III system to this. She is now able to video chat with her family overseas perfectly with the wireless. It also handles non-BD movies from our home server via the wireless with no issues. It is the perfect replacement PC for the type of tasks that she does. Great performance for the money. |

Paired this motherboard with an Intel E7500 to resurrect my workhorse XP Pro computer - No games, just office and autocad duties. Running at factory settings - as with my other ASUS boards this one performs very well. I should probably buy a spare while the price is right. |

Just another great Asus motherboard. Easy to install instructions and a motherboard full of features for the price. Paired it with a Pentium Dual Core for a great unit. |

i just bought this wonderful motherboard for my new gaming system and i absolutely love it. Granted its not the best mobo out there, but its one hell of a price for a decent gaming mobo. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to build on a budget. |

Purchased two of these in with two bare bones kits. Built these for my grand children with no troubles and every thing worked fine. Received both on the 23 of December late evening. Both computers built and setup and wraped and working for christmas. Have been purchaseing products from you for years and only had to send one product back because it was not working. |

It's one of 6 items I bought from T.D. to make my son's pc for Christmas. I only had to add a DVD player and his dream case with power supply, 450watts. It looks like a transformer and lights up when u turn it on, too cool. 1. EVGA GeForce 9500 GT Video Card with 1GB DDR2, PCI Express 2.0 SLI Support,Dual Link Dual DVI, HDTV, VGA Support 2. Seagate 500GB Serial ATA HD 7200,16MB,SATA-3G 3. Corsair XMS2 2048MB PC6400 DDR2 800MHz 4. ASUS P5KPL-AM SE Intel G31 Socket 775 Motherboard 5. Intel Pentium Dual Core E5200 2.5Ghz 2M 800mhz 6. Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit DVD OEM. It all works great together! Loaded real easy once I realized win7 comes on a DVD not a CDRom. Had to change the drive. My son is all geeked out about it. He's twelve. Hard to beat for the price. And the look on his face... priceless. |

I got this board as a combo barebone kit and as soon as ups delivered it it was up and running with os installed within 2 hours.... no problems at all no driver issues that i have encountered (knock on wood). could use more sata ports i wonder why this board came in a combo with a case that has 4 available bays but with only 2 sata ports i can only have a sata hdd and a sata dvdrw... it does have however an ide port but they are disbanding ide altogether will be tough to find an ide hdd or bluray drive even... |

An inexpensive solution. Drivers CD included with the motherboard didn't work and the HD sound drivers took me some time to set up. Jumper placement wasn't that great. Kinda wish there was a third SATA connector, but hey, for the price you can't complain. I have this with an E5200 OC'd to 3.26 GHz, 2Gb's of ram and a 8600 GT. Overclocking was a bit of a hassle, the motherboard wont support a processor vcore of over 1.3v but otherwise it's a solid product, would buy another. |

If you are trying to get a good motherboard on a budget, this is great! comes with vista drivers and trying to get windows 7 drivers was kind of a pain, and they kind of gave me problems, but all in all it runs great for the money. scores a 5.6 on the windows experience scale, built in video only scores about a 2.5, would segjest buying s better graphics card if that is important to you. i bundled mine with the intel duel core 2.8 and the system is pritty fast! |

This is an inexpensive board. Given that, it set up very easily and has been stable so far. Components are of good quality. Feature count is low. No floppy controller and only 2 SATA ports, but hey, this is microATX (lots of USB ports). Surprise, you don't need to mess around with installing SATA drivers -- they're in the BIOS, gosh what'll they think next next (and maybe they could think of the next thing sooner). After I figured out that it wouldn't boot because a memory stick was dead, I had no problems with the board. I'm very happy with this board |
