I decided to build my first PC and looked at MOBO's for a while. I chose to go with the Asus P7P55 Deluxe and I have not been dissappointed. Great instructions, good quality, good hardware. For a first time build I found it easy to work with and I am very very happy with the performance. This mobo kicks some serious tail. |

Cons: Will loose use of Pcie slots when usiing video cards that require 2 slots.must remove gpu to replace bios battery.There is so much for me to learn about this boards new technology and supplied manual doesn't help enough?
Pros: Price , Bought on sale.Usb 3.0Sata 3.02 availabe ethernet ports, express gate for very fast internet connection.Layout of available PCIe slots.Ability to use video cards in crossfire.CPU, accomadates core I3 & I5 & I7.6 Available hookups for sata drives.Abilty to use old ide drives (ribbon for 2 devices).Ability to easily monitor, manage, control, everything onboard & at monitor.Use of DDR3 dim chips , supports up to 16 Gig's of REM x 4 chips, with abuility to O/C.Auto system level up & TurboV Remote, allows even novice like me to make use of performance boost if needed.Available New tecnoligies will allow for , take advantages of improved features/performance as they become more available and cheaper.This board gives me all features I wanted for backwords compatability, todays needs and future upgrades as needed. I'm fortunate to have had the time to research/build my new computer and a brother that's certified to build computers to consult with. I have to thank all who contribute here at "NCIX" The custumer support, forums, quik links to product reviews and the help offered by patrons of NCIX made this expieriance most gratifiing. This was first time building computer from scratch.I had $2500 budget +/- not including software upgrades. I wanted system to cover general all round uses with as many features as I could afford. This board supplied all I was looking for and then some, supports technology not yet commonly in use IE; usb 3.0, sata 3.0 etc also back compatable. I was able to use a couple of old ide drives I had kicking around, even found way to use old laser jet printer with parralel port adapter to usb hub. It will be some time before I get around to useing TurboV remote, Auto Tuning,and the CPU level up features, but like having option to use. Love how I can monitor whats going in my computer with comprehensive list of tools provided. Internet connection is ultra fast, Vertualy everything I plugged into board was plug and play, easy to install and set-up. Board is nicely laid out and manual provided good detail on what connections went where. Cable hook-ups allowed for decint cooling and I had no trouble installing the noctua CPU cooler I bought from NCIX. Overall I'm very happy with this product and have no problem recomending for purchase, would definatly buy again. |

Cons: Only two internal IDE ports which requires new SATA drives.
Pros: Works very well with new Intel processors. Above average sound quality. Comment:

This is by far the best Motherboard on the market for the P55 chipset This thing ROCKS Thank you ASUS for making a very very good boad. People grab this a core i5-750 and cosair domantor ddr dual chan. and watch it surpass anything out theredon't take my word for it see for yourself
