The memory slot A1 was defective. Any memory in this slot was not recognized. Solutions from ASUS forums did not help. Contacted customer support and got a boiler plate response (do they even read what the problem is?). Had to RMA back the MB. Still planning to buy another ASUS MB though. |

Running Win7 64bit with a I5 CPU, runs great,overclocks,plenty of USB ports, easy to set up, no problems and the price is right. |

Great budget board, from a quality name. I would consider getting it again for a budget build. For anything other than a budget build, I might go with more of a mid range motherboard |

tech Level hi, lots of OC. if Desired, Put on a sata DVD combo drive with a Seagate 500 sata2; Fired right up. Fairly Quick; put on OCZ4gb. 1333 chips Low Voltage edition, Cant wait to add on 2 hi Q.1gb. Video Cards and a PSU to handle The Power. Board is Layed out perfect.I put on a Big CPU Cooler impressive Layout. Just waiting For Win7 Now. Running Fine on XP PRO 32 bit. |
I have used this board for two builds now and they have worked like a charm. One had an i5 and came right up. The other, with an i3 and to my suprise the board booted although the asus site said the i3 was not supported by the bios.
