Cons: No SLI bridge

Pros: Lots of heat spreadersEnough SATA cablesPeripheral slots are well placed
Comment:
Works fine with my i5. Don't motherboards usually come with SLI bridges nowadays? Would have been nice. Heatspreaders all around.

Cons: - No USB 3.0 or SATA6 support, however an addon card is available directly from Asus for 30$.- takes about 20 seconds to POST completely.- VIA HD Audio is a strange choice, don't know much about this brand. Would have liked a bigger name for the integrated sound card.- Some Coil Whine when Intel C-State technology is enabled

Pros: - Lots of overclocking and configuration options in the bios.- Supports SpeedFan for fan control- Seems stable and fast- Fanless Nortbridge

Overall I'm pleased with his board. I had some problems getting it to work with the corsair memory, but as it turns out this was due to defective memory, which refused to run in Dual-Channel mode. The lack of USB3 and Sata6 may seem like a downer, but it isn't. The Add-on Card is cheap and there are plenty of PCI-E slots to use it on.In 4 months of use, I have only crashed once (since replacing my RAM)

I have built this mobo up from scratch and used an I5 cpu and this works great and fast I am very pleased on this mobo and what hardware I have installed, as well as when tunning this up the performance is incretable the cpu fan that came with the cpu might need to be changed out cause of the heat this baby will push the cpu ASUS ROCKS!

This is a great motherboard. It's got plenty of ports for anything you could possibly want. The instructions are easy to use (but who uses instructions, lol) and it was pretty easy to install. Got it running with my I7 and it's workin' great so far

Pros: - Great features- Quality brand- Seems to be great overclocker

This has been a great motherboard, overclocks well. I do however getting some whining from the motherboard, which plagued all of the Asus P7P55D line.

This is best snd fasted board to date that I've bought. It has all the features I needed at the time I bought this. If you want to expand your sound (onboard is fine), I recommend installing one that has all your needs.

I had this motherboard for about a month and my sound card went out. Luckily I still qualified for the 30 day warranty. They sent me a brand new motherboard as a replacement. Just got the replacement in yesterday, and Im back up and playing video games again! Good Price for the board, but I don't really like the Via Chipset audio.

Cons: - CPU close to RAM.

Pros: + Design+ Asus Quality+ Easy to use+ OnBoard Leds+ OverClock
Comment:
This board is running great with my i5 750. Overclock is easy and my ram was easy to configure with the XMS Setting. Great quality. Only, the CPU socket is a little close to RAM. Using a CoolerMaster Hyper 212 Plus and really hard to access RAM.

This is a beautiful board. I would highly recommend it. Other reviewers said the one clip ram design was annoying, but its not true. It takes the same amount of time, so no real loss of time on installation. Removal of ram is faster so that is the bonus right there. I didn't have to use memok! but I heard it works great. Express Gate sucks though, so don't buy it just for that reason. You have to install express gate on windows after you setup the system. It just isn't that great looking and it feels like a crappy flash application.

Had problems getting it to boot up at 1st , my mistake , called site support which in turn gave me Asus's support number . Followed diretions given to me by tech support and MoBo fired right up . Board was not originally meant to run 8 Gig of 1600Mhz Ram , only 1 stick on each channel . Once it fired up , kept rebooting randomly and especially with Windows XP Pro . Tried all kinds of RAM configurations to no avail , downloaded NEW BIOS file and flashed bios using app in Bios , now works flawlessly with all 8 Gig ( 4 x 2Gig ) or Corsair PC12800 Ram at 1333Mhz , will probably not try to run at full speed which is 1600Mhz as OS and MoBo work excellent as is . Running Windows XP Pro 32bit on 1 partition and Windows 7 Pro 64bit on other partition . Gaming has taken on a whole new meaning for me after doing this upgrade from older system .

If you are looking for light overclocking this would be the board for you. I have ONLY owned Asus boards and they never fail me. EVER! Lol. Seiously though, very good heat distrubution throughout the board. Friendly BIOS as well. Just make sure you have the latest BIOS to get maximum performance!

No complaints. Has many features and can't beat the price. I like the auto-overclocking tool they provide with it; takes the headache out of tuning for speed.

Cons: A bit expensive.

Pros: Fast, stable ASUS motherboard with tons of USB ports. Amazing for overclocking i3, i5 and i7 CPU's.
Comment:
I bought this motherboard on a special with 4GB of G.Skill DDR3-12800 and both have brought me nothing but joy. This motherboard is the fastest, most stable board I've ever worked with. Everything just works with it - plug and play. I've tried 3 different SSD drives with it and normally hot swap three different 3.5" HDD's on the board, and they all boot up without skipping a beat.I've had good luck with ASUS boards - the only ones that were ever problematic for me were ones with the Nvidia Nforce chipset (notable the A8N-VM CSM series). ASUS + Intel chipset is a recipe for a good, stable motherboard. These don't disappoint.

Bought this for my new rig 3 months ago and I am now extremely happy with it. If you are building a new comp using this board do NOT buy the OCZ platinum ram to go with it. You will have to mess with timing and voltage and it will not run to specs. I dealt with that nightmare for 6 weeks before trashing all 8 gig of it and bought corsair. Its OC now and running smooth and quick. Couldn't be happier with this product.
