Cons: I wish they had the same model but 28in.

Pros: High resolution, very good quality, DisplayPort
Comment:
A very good screen for the price. The 2K resolution is really nice upgrade. Once you've tried it, you don't want to go back to a 1080p resolution. The quality is good and watching a movie feels really nice in terms of colour. If possible, use the DisplayPort output, instead of the HDMI.

Cons: 3 dead red sub pixelsNo built in USB hubOnly 1 HDMI inputColour settings impossible to find in menu.

Pros: Great SizeGood colourFast setup
Comment:
Picked this unit up on sale for $500. I was concerned that some dead pixels may have made it through the quality control at ASUS when I was considering getting extended RMA coverage. When I first set up the monitor I did the colour tests and had to really search hard to find the 3 dead sub pixels (all red pixels). The resolution on this unit is high enough (ie. the pixels are small enough) that I don't even really notice them unless I'm searching for them. Manufacturers warrenty has me covered if I ever get 2 more in the next few years. There is a minimum 5 dead sub pixels before they'll replace the unit. When you pivot the screen into portrait orientation, all your cable jacks will be pointing left. Having the monitor about 1m away from the front of my computer is about as far as the included cables will run. Reviews mentioned that because ASUS does not perform factory colour set up, I would have to do it myself. I spent about an hour playing with the menu's before giving up and deciding it was good enough as is. Probably never going to touch any button besides the power button ever again.I am happy with my purchase and would recommend my friends stick to the 1440 resolution instead of the 4k for the 27" models.

Cons: No USB

Pros: BeautifulVibrant and consistent coloursLow input lag for fighting games (26ms)
Comment:
Wanted to replace my 24" and 22" dual display with a 1440p 27" that could handle colour accuracy for my design work and provide the gaming performance I needed. I can happily say I didn't notice any ghosting with 1080p movies or input lag in Street Fighter IV. Definitely worth a look if you're in the market for a best of both worlds monitor. I added a second GTX 770 4GB because 1440p gaming is pretty demanding.I tested it for dead pixels and didn't find any, but make sure you get the 30-day NCIX coverage. The first week is when they happen, if they're not already there and Asus only covers clusters.

Upgraded from 21.5" 1080 monitors to this. It is freaking amazing and got it on sale, with price match. You need to get one of these. Like now, RIGHT NOW. WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR? DO IT.

Comment:
Bought this monitor about a week ago, the first had two bright pixels, the replacement from NCIX had 1 bright pixel, 1 dead pixel & yellow tinting. So naturally contacted Asus, the response I got was they'd be willing to repair it but do not offer replacement, despite having owned it under 1 week. While I love many things about this monitor, I would not recommend it based on Asus Warranty policy because frankly it's ridiculous. If you end up with a perfect panel, or If your retailer allows for replacements more than once, then I'd say It's worth buying. But eventually you'll have to deal with Asus down the line, when you do It'll probably be a pain compared to Dell..Dell Ultra-sharp warranty is excellent, they replace the defective display within 30 days, and even send couriers to your house for pickup. In fact you don't even have to send your defective display until you receive the replacement, so If you're looking to buy one I'd highly recommend checking Dell monitors when they are sell, as they can be bought for $549.99 or $649.99 on occasions..

Cons: Huge Response time (5ms grey to grey maybe, But when tested it was more like 12ms black to white to black) , Unfit for gaming.

Pros: Excellent Color quality, great massive resolution.
Comment:
Before owning this monitor i used to have a 27" Asus 2ms NT monitor. and while shopping for monitors i thought that this was an upgrade, a step further for a better (Dota2 ,Diablo 3, BF3, Borderlands 2).But its not. this screen has horrible Response time and input lag, that its almost too annoying to play with. and apparently the 5ms is not really 5ms when testedAs a gamer, you will suffer. and even in movies its pretty annoying. but if you do design art and Photoshop kind of work , this monitor lives up to its rep. its pretty good in acquiring an excellent color quality.I am unfortunate to say that i am going to have to return this monitor and replace it with another 27" that is 1080p with faster response time because apparently all 2560x1440 have horrible Response time in general. So If you play any games on constant basis, don't get a 2560x1440in general.

Cons: speakers are very weak, pricey

Pros: 2560x1440 resolution, pls, excellent colors, veiwing angles, lots of input options, comes with every cable possible (probably worth $70 in cables)
Comment:
i got this monitor mainly for the 2560x1440, and it seems to be the more affordable option out there, and its is a superb monitor, very nice colors, very bright, nice contrast, its nice it has built in speakers, but the speakers are weak, otherwise the monitor/video part of it is worth the money!

Cons: It isn't cheap, and you need a decent machine to drive the high resolution in your favorite games.

Pros: Resolution, PLS panel, Viewing Angles, Color, all the cables included, tilt/spin/height/pivot adjustments. This thing is gorgeous, build quality impresses. Lots of real estate on the screen at top resolution for multiple windows/work space.
Comment:
BF3 at 2560x1440 is insane. My panel came with no dead/stuck/brite pixels that I've found yet, back light bleed is minimal and just not noticable. I've never been this impressed with a monitor, just Wow. Get one.
