I have constantly wanted a Lian Li, so when I saw a single in this price variety I was on it...albeit a tiny reluctant. Any reluctance was out the window after I got it. The motherboard tray location has sufficient strategically placed holes to conceal the wires you snake behind it and the back panel to preserve a clean look. The case comes with thumbscrews to safe the side panels...definite plus. Also, there are difficult drive thumb screws with rubber gaskets that in mixture with the challenging drive mounting cage keeps items vibration free and effortlessly installed and removed.Good case...would Extremely recommend it to other folks! Exceptional case for the cost. Really fantastic cable managment; straightforward to access back of motherboard for heatsink swaps (doesnt require to be removed); great simple airflow especially with upgraded fans; HDD's, PSU, and Fans are on rubber dampeners. Fairly heavy and strong, lots of space to work in. Good easy design and style no gaudy windows and blue LED's. Audio connectors are a small short as stated its undoubtedly a stretch for some boards. HDD cage requirements to have a single screw taken out to replace the front fan. General an great case, really good capabilities for the price. Rubber dampeners retain everything quiet and the two fan design provides outstanding airflow devoid of getting excessively loud. Even with an ambient of about 25C keeps every thing cool. Becoming in a position to access the back of the cpu mount is exceptional for changing the heatsink later as you dont need to have to take away the Mobo to adjust the mounts. Good quality create with no sharp edges, certainly a single of the best cases for the price tag.

Roomy, a lot of space for long video cards and tall CPU coolers, lots of drive bays, effectively ventilated, quiet 120mm ball-bearing three-wire fans. Created of steel, sturdy and heavy. Nicely crafted with no sharp edges. Contains wire looms for cables and punchings to route peripheral cables behind the motherboard tray. The motherboard tray isn't removable like on my old Lian-li aluminium case, but it's not a massive deal considering that there's lots of area to set up a full-size ATX board. Also not seriously a con if you know up front that you want a energy provide with long leads to reach the ATX ྴቴ pin) and ATX12V ƔǞ pin) energy connectors. The case length is essentially 19.61" (retrieved from my box) not 19.29"; so it is enormous. It very easily accomodated my GTS 250 video card and can accept video cards up to 290mm in length. The front has a grilled mesh and the rear is slotted all through to supply excellent ventilation; so side ventilation not seriously expected. Bottom power provide mount is vented. No sharp edges inside the case. I did not cut myself as soon as during component installation.Motherboard easily fit into the case and aligned with the stand-offs with no troubles.I secured my DVD burner with screws along with the tooless clips for added stability; not a large fan of tooless style. With the exception of rotating the tough drive cage inward, tough drive installation was uncomplicated. Anti-vibration rubber screw rings are provided to eradicate challenging drive noise. In addition, after the drive is inserted in the cage it is very easily secured with a lockable sliding gate. Typically it is a quite sturdy, properly created, and qu The provided energy provide retaining bracket warps or crimps the power provide case when installed; the latch portion scratched the affixed psu sticker. Once removed there was no permanent structural harm to the psu case. I decided the 4 screws offered adequate stability.Initially unable to connect the front fan wire to the motherboard fan header. Solved by removing wire from protective tract, which permitted for greater flexibility, and also by rotating challenging drive cage inward to lessen the tension on the fan wire.Challenging drive LED light causes a vibration with the plastic front cover; barely noticeable.I agree with the other reviewer that the fans make a "very distinct wind tunnel sound"; even so the sound doesn't bother me.Had minor troubles with front panel lights, audio, and usb wires reaching headers but corrected by rerouting. The front panel detaches easily so be cautious where you grab if moving the case. This is my very first make so I had a very difficult time locating a case that I liked. I accidentally stumbled upon this case and was a little skeptical given the price. I initially wanted the Ultra m998 but had difficulties ordering the case. I am glad I did simply because I am really pleased with the Computer-K56.For the value this is an superb case. I've learned during my search for a case that there is no such factor as a best case.My rig:Mobo: Gigabyte GA-P55-UD3RCPU: Intel Core i5 two.66 GHzCase: Lian Li Lancool Pc-K56PSU: Antec TruePower TP-650 650WMemory: G.Ability Ripjaws F3-12800CL9D-4GBRL DDR3 HDD: Western Digital Caviar Black WD6401AALS 640 GBVideo Card: EVGA 01G-P3-1155-TR GTS 250DVD Drive: HP dvd1270i 24x (Retail Kit)

>Love the Energy/Reset buttons and USB ports at the leading! My old case has a door and the buttons are way down low which created it a pain to turn on.mm fans are fairly quiet when controlled by my pc.>Subdued looks. No far more LAN parties for me so no will need for lights and windows.>Bottom mounted PSU with vents really should preserve items a small cooler.>All the front panel cables and fan cables have been plenty lengthy for my motherboard.>No sharp edges to slice my poor fingers.>Front lights won't blind you. >Tool-less features aren't that great. DVD drive wouldn't stay latched in so I had to screw it in.>"Silent" challenging drive mounting isn't silent at all. My Samsung F3 resonates badly by means of the entire case at occasions. You can feel the whole case vibrate when it does this.__Tiny Issues__>Secondary screw holes for the challenging drive bay weren't lined up proper so I can't genuinely turn the point 90 degrees like it says I can. Not a major issue given that I don't need to do that...>The back left foot appears like the case was dropped on it. The scoremark in the metal around the rubber foot has been broken and is bent in a few millimeters so it's not perfectly level. Not worth the difficulty to replace. >I wouldn't really feel comfy sitting on this case like I can with my old a single and I only weigh 130 :P Very good case regardless of the cons. I'll have to see what I can do about the challenging drive resonating. It's not very as modest as I wanted, but it's manageable and I knew that going in to the purchase. It's a considerably nicer size than my huge full tower at any price. The fans at full speed are louder than I anticipated, but since I hooked them into the mobo and set them to half speed, they're great. I wasn't in a position to do this with my old case with 80mm fans so they run full speed and are really loud.Haven't had it extended sufficient to tell, but I hope the filters maintain it cleaner than my previous case. That point is like a vacuum.

Not as well heavy, which is what I wanted. Front mesh filter, decent cable routing for cleanliness. Reasonably effortless optical/hard drive mounting. Front panel/fan cables reached my GB mobo (see other thoughts about the front fan). USB/audio ports on best front edge of case!! 2 near-silent case fans! No side window/LED's/other extras to add to the expense. 98% tool-much less. Mesh filter can not be removed with no taking the front cover off. Side panels slide off like any other ancient ATX case (see other thoughts). Energy/activity lights are BRIGHTER THAN THE SUN (I reduce the sticky element of a post-it note doctored with a black sharpie to minimize my blindness, about 1 sq. inch). You can nonetheless see the lights, but it's not a discomfort anymore. Extremely sweet case for the cash! Lighter than the other rigs I nevertheless have (both Antec situations). Bracket functions fine for my single optical drive, just don't manhandle it when you snap it in location. Integrated thumb-kind screws/o-rings for challenging drive mounting perform like a charm. I had to rotate the front fan 90 degrees so the cable would reach my mobo. The side panels on both my old Antec cases have a rounded 'hinge' that this case doesn't. You pop the latch and the cover just swings out & off. This would have been a good touch. Also, both old circumstances allowed removal of the front mesh filter without having taking the cover off (they slide out from the bottom). Nevertheless an excellent, no-frills case I would recommend to any person who wants to preserve it straightforward! The rig:Gigabyte EP45-UD3L moboIntel Dual-Core two.93GHz E6500 WolfdaleG.Talent PC8500 2GB ƒx1GB sticks)OCZ ModXStream Pro OCZ500MXSP P/SWD 750GB Caviar Black WD7501AALSAsus EN8400GS 512MB VideoLite-On iHAS 424-98Win7 Ultimate 32-bit

Roomy, clever capabilities like built in cable manager on case floor, drive cage anti-vibration mechanism, wonderful air flow due to mesh front. Hefty but great trade off, no odd vibration or rattling sounds. Smooth edges, nice finish, doesn't grab every finger print and show it off. Air intake vents under energy supply so you can be positive it's obtaining adequate cool air. Roomy adequate to operate in. The stock fans are noisey at any speed, from 900rpms and up they have a quite distinct wind tunnel sound. Swapped them out for some Nexus Real Silent 120s and they are quieter and greater cooling by far. Had to remove the additional dust screen on the front fan, just too restrictive. Had to remove drive cage (kind of a discomfort) to replace front fan. Cable management is iffy when you have a non-modular PSU like a larger finish Corsair, you can route cables but there isn't enough room to make it truly fairly. Overall a really good case, and tough to beat for the price tag. It's a better design than the Antec x-Hundred series basically since of the clever style touches like air intake below the PSU and acquiring each sides of the heatsink mount on the motherboard exposed. Great air flow that doesn't need a ton off fans and the whole front is open with decent dust filtering built in. Plenty of room for the biggest video cards out there. This is an excellent case with lots of room. No, it's not black inside, but because you don't genuinely see the inside anyway... it's not a massive deal. A different huge plus is the truth that most points can be installed inside this situation without having the use of tools. It also incorporates dust filters on all of the 3.5" bay covers and yet another one for the 120mm front intake fan. 1. No dust filter for the power provide intake slits.two. HD audio cable for the front headset and microphone jacks is somewhat short. It would not reach the header on my Gigabyte motherboard. Other plusesɅ. Rubber inserts for the screws which mount the tricky drives in the tricky drive cage.2. Rubber inserts on the screws which mount both situation fans.3. Rubber feet.4. Simple but slick design.5. Hole for CPU cooler retention plate access.6. One particular of the greatest situations you can buy for the money.

WOW!! Just the very best case i have ever owned. Everything is sturdy, well believed out and well executed. The individual who commented on front fan wire length was appropriate to a particular extent, but all it took me to repair it was get rid of the fan screws, rotate the fan to place the leads at the leading and i made it to the MB plug. There just isnt any way to describe how properly created this situation is, I had been wanting a Lian Li for years and by no means could afford till now.Anything is vented, the big slow fans that I was positive wouldnt pull enough air, keeps my MB at 29c and my cpu at 30c IDLE. Under complete load testing the cpu only gets up to 44c! Great!! BTW completely silent till my old vid card fan went negative! Not a genuine con, but beware, this situation is Big.....i'm positive the description mentioned mid-tower, got great grief its Enormous! You cannot go incorrect with this case, unless you dont have space for it. The cable management is great. All the edges are turned, i cant cut my finger if i tried. The HDD mounts are wonderful, and they are silent, the guy with the noise/ .vibration difficulty have to have a undesirable drive.

Inexpensive, excellent layout, very good front port access, bottom mounted power supply. The fans came with 3-pin connectors. There are two screw holes in the bottom-left corner of the power provide mount, a single on prime of the other. I had to use a hacksaw to cut the edge of the upper screw hole off in order to get an Antec Earthwatts 380W power supply to fit. The power connector was hitting it, which prevented the screw holes from lining up correctly. It mounted appropriately the moment I cut the bit of metal off and filed it a little. Undoubtedly a discomfort although and I was worried I may mess it up.The front bay covers can come loose quite effortlessly. A greater retention mechanism must be used in future models. It doesn't come with thumb screws for the slot covers. Not a huge deal. Lian-Li's aluminum circumstances are clearly superior, but with a handful of tweaks Lian-Li could enhance this situation considerably for the far more spending budget conscious. Hopefully a future model will resolve the power supply mounting issue and the loose bay covers. If you want thumb screws for your slot covers, add a bag to your order for USŪ.50.

-sturdy-front panel ports are at the best, rather of the bottom exactly where usb sticks can get bent if you bump into them with the chair. This only matters if you preserve the case on the floor.-except drive bays doesn't attempt to be tooless, tooless virtually often tends to make things tougher-bottom mounted psu-psu can be mounted with fan facing up or down-excellent cable management -tooless optical drive mounting technique doesn't hold drives in incredibly properly. I just broke the brackets off and employed screws. I won't mark it down for this, given that the brackets were straightforward to get rid of.-dust filter impedes air flow a bit, but I don't see how this could be prevented. Stops lots of dust though.-stock fans a bit loud, will replace them once I discover some thing suitable.-no 3 1ǘ external bays, will be an concern if I get a card reader I've bought 2 of these now, 1 for my dad's machine, and one particular for mine.Next time, I may possibly get the Lian-Li F7N. I saw it in a store and it's even sturdier than this, and looks properly worth the extra funds.Men and women said the front panel audio cable was a bit brief, but I discovered it was extended enough to reach neatly if I rerouted it across the leading of the case then down to the port on the mobo.

Quite quiet case with included fans + CPU and Vid Card fans running. Chalk it up to a good and spacious case with superior front to back airflow. Even right after an hour or two of intensive gaming, the fans are a bare whisper. Very good aestetics if you're a minimalist; matte black, understated plastic mesh on the front bezel, discreet energy/HD lights on front. Quite simple to remove side panels, bezel and bezel panels. This may not be a con for you, but this case is Enormous. Also, front fan power cable was a bit brief, so I had to be inventive about receiving it to reach my Mobo. This was my case for my initial ever computer create. Quite uncomplicated and minimalist design was great for a novice such as myself, but the a lot more I know, the a lot more I can appear at the case and see its prospective to develop with me.

This factor is solidly built (and feels like it!). The heavier material they built it with provides it some added heft, which for me at least created me much more confident in its durabilty. Access to the guts of the pc is straightforward, and it comes with clips that you can use to secure the cables so they stay out of the way when you're not messing with them. One particular of my preferred issues about this case is the modularity of it. The difficult drive bays can either be mounted so they face forward (like in most cases), which is probably easier for connecting almost everything, or sideways, so it's much easier to get difficult drives in and out of the pc. The complete front of the case is a mesh screen, which is undoubtedly far better for ventilation, and the power supply mount is on the bottom, which ought to make the case a small far more stable due to the lower center of gravity. Not a lot of that I can think of. Putting the power supply at the bottom means that some of the innards of the laptop or computer are farther away than you'd generally anticipate. Your energy supply may possibly not be able to reach everything unless it comes with specifically extended cables. As I said ahead of, make confident your power supply's cables are long adequate, or else be prepared to invest in a new a single to use with this excellent case. I mentioned the mesh being good for ventilation; it occurs to me that this may well also make it less difficult for dust to get inside the method, so make sure to open it up and clean it out every single so frequently so it doesn't get clogged up.

Fairly roomy, lots of expansion space, the mobo drives and PSU were uncomplicated to install. Cable management functions are a major support for keeping it looking neat. Fan in front by drives has short cable. On ATX board, the fan energy would want to be within two inches of the bottom corner to reach. Would not reach on my mobo. The K56 is good, but I'd go for the K58 or K60 if I was going to acquire once again. Overall really pleased with the case.

I just wanted a PC case to residence a new PC. I didn't want flashing lights windows on the covers etc. Case demands to be functional and this case is definitely that. Lots of room for mounting Harddrives as properly as Fromt panel drives, cdrom, and so on. All of the mounting holes for power supply and motherboard line up specifically. Metal work is not flimsy and is properly finished. Would definitely recomend this case to everyone. Plenty of hardware (screws, and so on) are included. None

This is a normal case that does the job, high quality, cavernous (larger inside than you might picture) and inexpensive. I added Corsair TX650 Version2 (?) PSU and it's fine.I was hunting for a 'silent" or at least quiet case, yet with sufficient cooling regardless of becoming silent - and discovered this (only a few others on the marketplace as as very good as this LIan in compromizing Quietness with great fans/airflow).
