Cons: Drive updates aren't automatic and need to done or you will have problems.

This card is hard to get working and has lots of driver updates required. It also needs to antennas attached which isn't unfair but not needed by all cards. I prefer it for people who don't want a wireless card that takes up a USB port. |

Bought this for about $20 so I wasn't expecting much but I was pleasantly surprised. I installed in a headless machine 20 feet away from my router, with 3 walls in-between and still got 4 bars. The signal hasn't ever disconnected either AFAIK.Pro tip: don't bother with the drivers on the disc. update it through Windows update (Windows 7 should have a native driver for it already). |

First off, my Win7 64bit could detect the PCI card but kept interfering with my Zone Alarm. After tons of searching, it seems like it's a standard problem with "all-in-one" firewalls like Zone Alarm, etc. What's the solution? Download the Ralink drivers (2860) and install. Stopped the conflict immediately. If ASUS just packaged a decent set of drivers for this card or offered it off their website (yes, I checked), then I would've had a 10 min installation rather than spending 45 minutes needlessly on it. Also, it installs into a PCI-E slot instead of a normal PCI. This limits your choice a lot when deciding where to install the card. Overall, I haven't had any issues with this network adaptor but had a ton of headaches when I first installed. Good product, but wouldn't buy again and definitely not for noobs. |

Pros: Really small. My graphics card and CPU heatsink (Scythe Big Shuriken) are pretty close together, but this slipped in between them and seems to not impede airflow whatsoever. Comment:
A great card. No noticed signal loss yet. Drivers weren't terrible: it worked instantly and perfectly on just plugging it in (Win 7 x64), but a Windows update failed to update the drivers a few times--I just installed from the website, though, and there have been absolutely no problems since. Can download/seed and play Minecraft on a multiplayer server, with easily as much or less lag than I was seeing over a network cable. I was a little worried by the size/cost and a few comments in the forums, but I'd buy this again any day (and blame any issues on individual cards--this one's perfect). |

This is a cool product if you want to build a router with your PC! This card have two antenna so it allow you to route your wireless signal! I don't think I would buy it for other purpose than build a solid router with an old PC! :) |

my wireless g card had a way better antenna.. and was a lot more solid in its design. have 2 of these n13's. one of the antennas BASE (brass cube looking thing) snapped off the circut board. It was more difficult to fix than you think.The threads detach from the base with the antenna (I guess it a quick disconnect feature) but I wish it didnt have it, seems kinda cheap to me and doesnt feel solid when you re-insert the antenna) trying to tighten them on, is a pain. probably going to try something else and not always go for cheap.2 Stars for design 3 Stars for the fact it works 97.8% of the time. :P |

This card is an excellent replacement for my old Belkin wireless NIC which has recently been starting to go. Reception is great, I think this is the first time I've ever gotten 4/4 bars on my desktop! Worked perfectly out of the box on Linux (Ubuntu 10.10), which is much better than I had expected at first. All in all a great card!The only downside I can see now is the fact that this is a PCIe card and my old card was a PCI, so now I have a missing slot cover :P |

I recently was upgraded by Telus to Telus Optik but didn't notice any change in my download speeds 350kb/s then realized my old PCI G card was the bottleneck got this PCIe card and my first download from Nvidia drivers was 1,700 kb/s !!! 1.7 Mb/s what a huge difference depending on the website or server I was averaging between 800 - 1,300 kb/s |

Moved into a 3 floor townhouse with a friend. His N router's on the middle floor, I'm in the basement. Getting more then G speeds, about 65 Mbps or so at idle. Haven't tried to download anything huge yet. I'm technically getting speeds in the N range, so I'm happy.Installation into my 64-bit Vista machine was a breeze. Popped in the card, Vista detected it, I specified to use the CD that it came with, a few minutes of installation, and I was up and running. |

Bought this card for my roommate. Using a wireless N router, and his pc only 28ft away with little obstruction, this card jumps from 3 to 4 bars for signal strength. It's only getting about 49-52mbps connection. Both are using wireless N.My laptop has N, at a further range I still get a better connection than what this card receives. Drivers on the CD don't work too well with Windows 7 x64, Had to get parts of new driver on the net, coupled with the installer on the CD to make it work. After that I ran a driver searching program and it grabbed another driver package, installed and started working fine, but only to about half of the posted specs here.Bottom line, it's a half decent card especially for the price. Don't get it if you plan to game on your pc though. |

Great wireless-N adapter from Asus. This card spec/cost ratio is amazing. For 27.99 or less if you get it on sale (like I did), you get a small size, pcie x1, dual antenna, wireless-N card, which is a great deal. In almost one week of utilisation, I hadnt experienced any problem with this card. |

I get all 5 bars from about 30~50feet away with TVs and microwaves and telephone and a door and my powerful comp in the way... my USB wireless N stick would slow to a crawl if the TV or microwave was on (router located on top of TV)... wireless G pci card was slow, about the same price, and only 3-4 bars, plus would block a pci port that I needed for my 2nd dual slot GPUGreat card, love it! |

Bought as a way to connect to my new Shaw internet modem. Worked on boot-up with no fussing around. The signal strength is better than expected (~10m distance, through 2 walls and a couch, strength registered c 100%).I would certainly recommend to a friend.
