I bought this wireless PCI card so I could move my desktop to a room that I didn't have cabled for Ethernet. It works fabulously. I am very pleased!

Apparently, the installation problem is with W-XP The installation mini disc furnished with card did not work. Went to site to look for download. That didn't work either. Sent e-mail to Sarbent, explaining problem. Received a link to download drivers and control panel. Then, it was easy. I could have saved a lot of time and anguish if the web site had directed me to the proper link in the first place.

Recieved this card on time and took the few minutes to install it my wifes win7 Compaq and started the computer and windows found the new hardware hooked it up automatically and away she went worked perfect out of the box and has had no problems at all, it sits inside the space in the computer desk and gets great reception through several walls and the desk! Impressive and a fantastic price and the best part is, I can get rid of the etho cable running through the house. If you need a wireless card for win7 compaks this is it didnt even need to use the driver disk.

This card will not work in my area, I had to reinstall my older G card. Same with my neighbor's computer which was why I purchased two cards

Easy to install and works great. Have had no problems with it. The instructions are questionable, but if you know anything about computers it is easy to install without the instructions.

This card sounded great, but it wouldn't maintain a connection to any network. Do yourself a favor and spend a little extra money on a brand you know.

Not into IT products, but needed to make two computers wireless in the home to accomodate our internet needs. This product was very easy to install. Took less than 30 minutes. If you have any difficultly with it, it is most likely that there is a defect with the product. Did have a problem once, but received another of the same product and it installed with no problems.

Written instructions are in Spanish therefore took two tries to configure on Windows XP. Add $0.50 to price and include English instructions for novices.

This product has less range and performance than the older wireless product that I was replacing. I had to revert to the older network to maintain my client's wireless capability. I hate the interface also, I would not want my clients having to figure that out if I were not there.

Like always do your reserch when buying things. this is a 2.4ghz card. So if your going for a n connection. Make sure the router is 2.4 and a n router or it will show up as a g connection.

This product works well & was priced nice & low. I ended up buying two! As a total computer novice I was able to install the device & driver fairly easily. My only complaint was that the printed instructions were only in SPANISH! Apparently English speakers have to open the CD ROM to read instructions on installation electronically (or just interpret them from the printed pictures which is what I had to do at first). Oh well, maybe that is why the price was so low. - Oh and to avoid a huge nightmare installing - be sure to temporarily turn off your virus protection & firewall first.

What a battle. I tried for a day installing this on a Win-7 system. The documentation included is a joke (printed manual in Spanish only) the English install instructions on the mini-CD are contradictory. Downloaded drivers from Ralink (the actual manufacturer) without any change in status. I have returned for exchange with a D-Link USB unit (at least I should get an English manual). Tiger Direct has been great in getting an RA etc.

I've used more expensive cards and had worse performance from them. My 16 year-old installed this into his XP computer without a hitch. Beat the Trendnet NIC he had prior to this.

I have spent the past 2 days trying to get this stupid network card to work. It does not work. Forget about contacting customer support. I have tried the drivers on the mini CD, downloaded the drivers from their website. None of it works. The link in their email was a dead link. This card DOES NOT auto detect in Win 7 pro so don't even try. It might be a good card for Win 95 or maybe Win 98 but I won't use it for anything other than a paper weight.

Well this card would not work for me because my video card covered the slot but thats my fault not the cards. But I was really happy the store in my city let me return it even though I ordered it online. They get an A for cust service.

Easy to install, although the installation instructions did leave a few things out. This is because the instructions are for multiple products. Piece of cake once I figured that out.
