Cons: Requires a sound card or onboard which supports 5.1.
Pros: 5.1 Surround SoundGreat Sound including base Comment:
I bought this Headset a year ago when Psyko Audio Labs first put his product on the market. I already owned a Zuentech X-Fi Prelude sound card wich supported the headset with the required audio jacks.Sound is excellent, a little more cumbersome then a digital headset such as a Corsair HS-1 USB or the logitec equivelant but I have no complaints about it's quality. One nice feature is the use of "ear flaps" which open on a hidge on the side of the earcups which allow you to have a conversation with someone while wearing it or to shut them for some background noise reduction.Good product, do your research but I would buy this product again if I had tht choice. |
Just got this for Christmas, First off, the small little subs in this are great. The surround 5.1 is great for first person shooters and movies as long as you don't move your head to much because although it is kinda tight on my head, its a darn heavy headset so when tilting your head back, you really feel it clinging. Gets pretty loud if you crank it, louder than anyone should be using it really. The cable coming from the headset itself to the amp is kinda short for me, but moving the amp is easy enough.
