This item does everything you would want----however it will not carry the signal. Wasted money! I would not recommend this at all. This is the first item ever purchased from Tiger that I was unhappy with. |

We bought 12 of these, not one worked. No signal at all. Called Cables unlimited to check on this, but they only do tech service by email. |

This splitter does not transmit the signal from the dvi video card to the hdmi tv. I run a dual monitor link video card and got this to run the primary monitor to an hdtv set also, so I could use two monitors and an hdmi tv off of one video card connector. Most video cards use Dvi, not hdmi connectors. The signal needs to be amplified and I wound up getting a LINDY dvi power splitter to do this. www.lindy-usa.com/dvi-video-splitter-2-port/32447.html
