best phone i ever had. lasted me over a year till i jumped in the pool with it. Every one i know got a 8110 and the os allways messed up and they had to get a new one. the 8100 is the best. |

I have had my blackberry since Dec 2008. The phone was working fine, however starting off the new year with numerous malfunctions. My phone had a mind of its own, it began doing everything automatically. Blank random texts were being sent, random calls were made, blank random emails were be sent, the track ball was randomly selecting applications on its own. Several times every day, my phone turns off and turns back on its self, in addition to that...i have been getting a lot of SIM card error very frequently. Now matter how many times i take out and put back in the sim card, shortly after that....i get the sim card error or the previous malfunctions as stated above. This is a good phone for the size and it's features, but i wont recommend it. The phone should be discontinued until they resolve the issues. Getting rid of this phone and upgrading to another, since this is ridiculous. Why they rate blackberry so high, when some models have an automatic feature with a mind of its own. |

This phone is big on features, low on quality. The slots for the SIM and SD cards are flimsy. It lasted a week and the screen went out. To add to all the fun the phone came setup for T-Mobile: So much for being a generic unlocked phone. |

Goode be made better. Dont like the middle button its hard and clumsy. Does include cool apps preloaded and avliable to download. Fast 3G. Love the keyboard BUT IT IS NOT A FULL KEYBOARD some of them are on the same button |

I've had a lot of different phones including the Sony k750i and the Motorola v3 razr and this is the probably the best ''phone'' that I've ever owned. Many times after purchasing a new phone I notice that the reception will deteriorate after about 4-6 month but this thing has been going strong even after dropping it a few times. It has all the features that I was looking for (camera, mp3 ringers, ect), doesn't do it the best I've seen, but it is acceptable. I got a 1gb card for it to store extra media. I've had no problems with space, and I currently have about 6 cds of mp3s on it, plus pictures. The keyboard takes a few days to get used to but I can type much faster than T9 and I don't like using my friend's full keyboard smartphone. The browser is a little rough, you can manage to surf but I don't unless I need to. I've downloaded google maps and that has been a huge time saver trying to find places when I travel. |

Same problem with this phone the central touch button control. When we try to use it it's not responding and some time we are talking and the mute option is actionate with out any action. For the other features no probleme realy hight quality movie and mp3 player. |

For the price this phone packs the features, and with downloads available at handango.com a this Blackberry can do it all. Have not had any issues with the phone as of yet. Battery life is excellent lasting about 3-4 days with average usage. Only downfall I have with the phone is the way you type. Because the phone is so small there is no room for the full QWERTY keyboard therefore RIM has had to put 2 letters on each key, takes getting used to. If you can go without the camera then I would recommend the upgrade to the Blackberry 8800 |

I love this phone. It does so much! I can pick up my personal emails from anywhere. Reception is good on both ends. I like the ''pearl'' navigation button. I don't think it's going to break easily. Besides, I hate using a stylus. It makes the screen look bad after awhile. I like the qwerty keyboard also. I can type alot faster. The pearl is small. About the size of the palm of my hand, alot smaller than the other blackberries. I think this blackberry is by far, the sexiest looking smart phone on the planet. I get alot of ''looks'' when I pull this phone out to use. Very functional, and good looking. |

Love the phone. The trackball navigation is great and since there is no stylus needed to navigate, the screen will not get wrecked. The keyboard took a bit of getting used to but now I like it better than the traditional QWERTY keyboard. Since there is half as many keys, it takes me much less time to type e-mails and text messages. The ability to charge the phone via USB while connected to my PC is nice too. Packed with features and very sleek. Excellent buy. |

The main problem with the phone is the central touch button control; can go bad easily. Try palm/any other phone if you want a hand held. |
I bought my blackberry pearl 8100 year 2007 & it is refurbished but until now still working very very good and infact i just gave it to my daughter last january 2010. Very loud & clear voice, mp3 is good too and wonderful camera shot is very very clear & beautiful pic. I already try different brand of cellphone, but for me this is excellent in performance & very light to carry. Battery works perfect. I recommend this cellphone the best for all.
