Cons: NCIX took 2 days before shipping
Pros: Quick Install, my Asus M4A785TD-V EVO recognized all 16g of it. Comment:
16g is more ram then I'll need for the next little while. I was really relieved when my board read all of it. Great deal, couldn't go wrong with the price. |

Pros: Consumer Priced, affordable and a great upgrade for a consumer desktop PC. Comment:
It's a great RAM kit for maxing out the slots on my motherboard. I still have 2x4GB in the other two slots but I fully intend to replace that with another pair of these 8GB sticks when I can. It was $99.99 when on sale and that was a great price this this ammount of RAM. I'm eagerly looking forward to getting more and having 32GB in total.I'm not a gamer, but I do video and graphics work, Adobe After effects would routinely tell me 'Insufficent RAM. Multiprocessing Disabled' even with 16GB of RAM. The program is pretty demanding for RAM. Now with 24GB things are better but I won't be happy untill I'm sitting at 32GB. |
I got these 16GB on top of 8GB already on the MB, and while the previous 8GB were from G-Skill, they all worked flawlessly together. I wanted to be sure the 16GB would be the same as the current 8GB, in other words DDR3-1600 with 9-9-9-24 timings, and I believe this is the only kit that offers all these numbers together.
