Ran right out of the package on my AMD Quad four. The cost was fantastic and now if I get the rebate it will be greater yet! None!! As of however. I plugged thes in, went into the Asus bios and overclocked at the highest settings. Booted up and have been running happily ever soon after! I am not an avid or knowledgeable OC operator but this chips are good. I could not do this without difficulties with my stock Corsair chips. I do have eight mg rather of 4 mg now but with OC'ing, my method has enhanced over 20%! When I figure out what I'm truly performing.....?????? |

-Low-cost!-4gb sticks -Worked perfectly for me so far .....it wasn't buy a single get 1 free of charge lol Soon after putting in these check bios setup. right after 2 weeks i observed that mine were only running at 1066mhz and the timings were set at 7 7 7 20. immediately after shifting the multiplier and timings to 9 9 9 24 (which is what they are supposed to be) they run at 1333mhz. Shipped fast. Value for speed is fantastic. Could not get the right timings in my AMD Gigabyte mobo. Ended up RMA-ing. I assume these are really meant for Intel builds. Keep in mind to set your timings in your BIOS to get the 9-9-9-24 and raise the voltage to 1.65. Also had to alter it to 1333Mhz, it defaulted lower. |

Looks awesome Terribly slow ram, I am possessing numerous difficulties loading several applications. Laptop or computer tends to lock up on the most standard of tasks. Blue screens at least twice a day, reformated, new hard drive(s) newer vid card, tested with diff hardware. Guess im out 80 bucks. Named patriot consumer help, just finding the run around. These are super-stable memory modules and perform extremely properly with my ASUS M4A785TD-M EVO motherboard. I unintentionally more than-clocked them (I'm not an more than-clocker) whilst figuring out my motherboard's memory settings for 10666 timing and these modules nevertheless passed Memtest86+'s tests with flying colors. Popped it in my very first build and it performs. Doesn't appear as good as other ram but not like I even look inside my case in spite of my case having a see-thru window. Make sure you have a 64bit OS at very first I was working with a 32bit vista OS but so far I can't tell the distinction from 4gb-8gb except for in big battles in Shogun 2. FPS would drop to 19 and now its quite steady 25+ fps. |
