When i first recieved this keyboard, it felt comfortable to type and game with, I love the backlit option, and how you can turn the light on and off.

I found that this keyboard is awesome! Looks great and performs great. I do not know what the other guy was talking about CTRL+SHIFT being an issue. You can press Shift + Home/End and it will perform the same function. I have tested many CTRL+SHIFT key combos with no issues at all! Oh, and the reason why the keyboard is hardly on sale and is so expensive, is because it has touch sensitivity built in, which is indeed an expensive function to implement.

Cons: - Regular price of 100$ everywhere and that is NEVER on sale.- Really wtf... can't hold CTRL+Shift and press Home/End to select  all the text.- Can't customize the hotkeys on the side and neither choose with which program you want to use the multimedia keys so it's pretty much all worthless.- Could have gave us better color choice.- The wrist rest is in a weird angle, very slippy and somewhat strange. It's not that bad but it could had been much better.- LAG issue with the shift key. Can't believe it for such an expensive board. Guess I'm too fast for this kb heh.

Pros: - High quality keys- The main point of this keyboard is definitely the look.- 5 choice of LED lights.- Some hotkeys are useful but it would had been 100x more useful if u could customize them as there is no program from Saitek.

Oh well, I think it was the very first time I saw it on sale when I seen it at 70$ instead of 100$ during the boxing day. It's definitely not worth anything more than that. I loved the Saitek Eclipse 1 and had it for several years. It had a much better price ratio than the III version. The second one is definitely ugly imo.So yep I'm just really disappointed by the non-customizable hotkeys and the CTRL+SHIFT issue, not to forget the lag with the shift key that do like if I'd write (L'Age) while in fact I stopped holding shift before pressing A so it should had done (L'age). Ridiculous for such an expensive keyboard. Looks like I paid more for look than quality so somehow I still prefer the Microsoft Reclusa I had but I'll get use to this new board.Oh and it ust suck that only the red light is very bright. Blue isn't that bad but others could had been much more.. mostly the purple (-_-). Green would also had been nice. This review was modfied by poster @ 01-12-10 10:35 PM
