Cons: Not a great mouse

Pros: Adjustable DPI
Comment:
Was dissapointed with this purchase. I got it on special and was lucky on that note. My Logitech Mx518 optical is about 10 times a better mouse than this one when it comes to comfort, quality and feel of the buttons. Sorry Saitek.

Cons: misplaced buttons

Pros: Good control, Comfortable, Responsive
Comment:
Overall this is a pretty good mouse, Other then the side panel buttons being there, I don't see any problem with the mouse itself. I use it in my Office at work, a lot better then the ol' generic dell mouse.

Cons: Rather sharp edge on an awkwardly shaped right side - Should be smoother and more form fitting to the hand.VERY loud mouse clicks compared to Microsoft or Logitech mice. So loud it's annoying.MUCH more force is required to click - easily double, possibly tripple the force.

Pros: Very low friction gliding surface.Excellent programability, including adjusting x and y axis sensitivity independently.
Comment:
I bought this mouse when it was on sale for $20, and for that price, I would barely recomend it at 2 stars. But for a $50 dollar mouse it is not worth it - 1 star. Saitek makes good keyboards and joysticks, but this mouse isn't that great. It can't touch my Logitech MX518, and I have decided to switch back to my old Microsoft Wheel Mouse Optical with no forward/back buttons, just so I can click easily and not be annoyed. This is the worst $50 mouse you can buy. Get a Logitech MX518 instead. Great feel, quiet clicks, perfect click resistance. This review was modfied by poster @ 02-17-09 12:30 PM

Cons: - Poor overall ergonomics

Pros: - It works- Light weight

Note: I actually give this 2 stars but because I bought this in-store I don't have an orderID, and therefore I cannot submit a 1-2 star review.First problem I noticed with this is mouse was the force required to push down the buttons, especially the scroll wheel. After a couple of hours I felt the strain on my hand. Second, I didn't like placement of the side buttons, they get in the way and generally feel uncomfortable. I have a MX510 that died on me so I'm using an old ball mouse right now, which I prefer over this. I'm definitely sticking to a Logitech mouse next time.
