Great for attaching two fans to a single channel. It could be sleeved, but then it would be more high priced. If you are planning on detecting the speeds of the fans, this can cause some challenges. Here's a swift fix:Make sure that you use the identical fan (brand, size, model, etc.) for each slots. Cut the yellow wire on one side of the Y. The speed detector will only study the speed from a single fan, but it need to be practically the identical amongst the two. Enables you to connect two fans to a fan controller on your MB. If I hadn't purchased 2 of these I would have had to connect fans straight to the PSU which would have sucked. It works - connected two front fans together on a Antec 300. Seriously confuses the motherboard fan sensor and giving false warnings on the automatic monitoring application. Wish I had a superior fix than cutting one particular of the sensor wires from the fans so only one particular is reported.
