I have implemented a few of these and they work relatively well with only the sporadic lockup issue mentioned above, if they actually work.Unfortunately I have found them to be hit and miss in terms of compatibility with printers both old and new (old line printer, recently a Deskjet 9800). In such cases, it is a real time waster as the management utility is buggy (new devices show up with names of devices that used to be connected but no longer are, old name shows up after being renamed, utility too dumb to give up quickly after you change the IP during config).Firmware update files are provided on Netgear's site with no link to the update utility (uses the PS121 utility, Netgear has not fixed this disorganization for a long time), and these firmware updates do not resolve the bugs mentioned above--even the beta firmwares. Changes to the device setup on the web interface sometimes refuse to take effect and you are forced to use the buggy management utility. Unfortunately this utility simply refuses to function on some systems and you just have to keep trying different PC's until you get one that works.Quite a buggy product in many respects but you'll rarely have to touch it (other than occasional restarting) if you manage to get it working right, and you can't beat the small size.
