It is compact and appears stable. The layout isn't clear. I mean I believed it was a micro micro but the outlet is on a single of the longest sides. I fixed my challenge by gutting it and putting the guts into the old housing. **Warning some get in touch with may be produced so insulate if that is what you are going to do. I can't say that is recommendable at all!!**

low-cost, lots of connectors fan is loud. the fan sticks out and does not fit in a lot of of the smaller instances (does not fit the Apex MI-one hundred) Get a PicoPSU if you want your tiny method to be quiet.

Worked for a month. Then stopped operating. I noticed that if I moved the pc it would shut off. Then it sooner or later stopped functioning just over 30 days. I am not sure who to blame the manufacturer (for a defective solution) or newegg for only getting a 30 day return policy. I have a quad core but it nonetheless really should operate. I have currently brought an additional energy provide. 1 that is twice as significantly money and virtually twice as considerably power. Newegg requirements a 60 day return policy.

Enough juice to run 2 gb ram, AMD FX 5.five, nVidia 6600gt, 2x 60mm fans, 1x 80mm, 1x 120mm, 2x harddrives, and dvd drive no on/off switch in the back I havnt had any issues with this model. Overall, extremely satisfied.greatest of all, its affordable

Cheap, but does put out a lot additional wattage than comparable power supplies of this little class / form aspect. Inclusion of a devoted SATA lead and a 24-pin "sidecar" on the primary ATX power lead is a definite plus (but I didn't need to have them for this develop). The style of the physique shell (placement and protrusion of the fan) prohibits compatibility with all case layouts. I had to open the unit, temporarily get rid of the fan, flatten the shell, drill some new holes, remount the fan, and close the unit back up. Yes, it voided the warranty, but the PS _now_ fits, and the computer works. Weak "tin-can" building, but what do you expect for the listed price? At least, even though, this factor puts out additional wattage than the other offerings in this mATX category. Newegg, _please_ start carrying a lot more mATX power supplies.

Nevertheless in a position to replace it. Died following two months of being sparringly applied. Turned it off then it would not come back on the next day. For the low price you get what you pay for. I have one more one of these that has been functioning fine since I installed it under alot heavier use. Sending back for yet another replacement.

Seems to be a decent supply as uATX supplies go, about as heavy as the one particular its replacing which lasted a number of years. As other individuals have mentioned the little extension from the provide case for the fan keeps it from fitting in a lot of uATX circumstances. IF you want an easy excahnge pay a lot more for one particular that fits from the start. With the use of a half height fan I had on hand and metalworking tools I was capable to get this to work for me, but felt foolish. Regrettably the typical electrical top quality of uATX supplies is nowhere close to their complete size cousins. In the future I'll get small situations that take standard supplies !

The microATX type issue went directly into my Soltek/QBIC 'mini cube' P4 two.8GHz machine, replacing the original ps that died. The number and form of connections was just what the medical doctor ordered. So far the machine has been up and operating as smoothly as regular. No on/off switch on the unit, but if you're reaching back there you may well as properly pull the energy cord anyway. Absolutely appears like a fantastic replacement for this style of machine.

Excellent higher efficiency energy supply. A perfect fit in a gutted out Emachines box and sufficient power to run something I can cram in the available space.High efficiency implies cool- with the CPU idling, temperature rise of cooling air exhaust is not detectable and only barely noticeable with CPU running one hundred%. There are no cons. Absolutely nothing about this power supply is gold plated but so what? The case is light gauge steel but I don’t intend to pound nails with it.

This little puppy operates fine, specifically for the price tag. I needed it to replace a power provide for a Sony Vaio (OEM was over $xxx). Needless to say, it was not a perfedt match, but I secured it with extremely small troubles none

Modest, appears ok... high watts for a power provide of its size Smoke? The second time I plugged it in, I saw smoke, and several of the parts pugged in are now dead. Fortunately it was for a second computer, and the video card survived.

It is a compact size for small Pc instances. I have been using one particular in an old IBM Netvista case converted to a new dual core system for over a year and half with no concerns. I am at the moment building an IBM Aptiva case conversion and required a different smaller sized than standard power supply so another oneshould be arriving from New Egg right now. I hope it does as properly! Also this unit pushes additional wattage 鶞W) than most micro size power supplies readily available. I'll have to so some cutting and drilling to make it bolt in to my case, but it is a case conversion so that comes with the territory I've personally had quite fantastic luck with more affordable power supplies so far- none have fried my motherboard and the only failures I can recall more than the years had been when I was utilizing an incorrect energy switch and had to replace 2 power supplies. Once the switch was replaced the subsequent energy provide lasted over three years until that system was decommissioned.

Performs fairly very good as a replacement energy provide. Not a poor price tag as effectively. Chinzy wiring and energy cord, but what do you expect for a really inexpensive energy provide. It does it's job. So far, so excellent

Runs steady, quiet, low to no sound.Wonderful cost! none noticed so far Excellent PSU for the price. Other customers pointed out a odd smell at startup, but nothing at all of that sort with mine. Runs very good, plenty of connections and wireing to reach all through my case. Definately suggest it for a price range Computer.

Low-cost - additional energy than the original gear. Like most MATX PS's - No on or off switch - no biggy. Excellent for the HP 6000 series that it went into. The protruding fan in the casing did not present any troubles.

This PSU is a very good item. It came to me quick and the box relatively unscathed. It is a excellent price. I am utilizing it in a Dell little type aspect case and it is a decent wattage considering I really could not come across an additional solution that would fit inside the case, specially not over 300 watts. I'm positive this would be completely fine in a MATX case, but I bought it not considering about how major the back panel is. Now I have approx. a 1 inch space in the back of my IO shield plate mainly because it will not fill the space where the prior PSU resided. This is less due to design, and more due to I had to place a different PSU into this case I and this was primarily my only alternative. If you are making use of a little form element case, this is about your only alternative if you want to upgrade to a thing more than 300 watts of power (this is what I have found, I am confident there is anything else out there is you look Really challenging though).

Low-cost, superb worth/$$, good output, 20Ʋ energy connector,SATA plug. This was a direct replacement for each an eMachine and Compaq microATX tower, but with 200 to 250 watts additional energy. Cost from eMachine three instances larger than NewEgg.Functions fine, fits OK and is as quiet as the reduce reduce original. none genuinely -- the casing is unrefined, but hey, it's a P/S in a closed, protected tower case I'd acquire more of these as needed (and have). I have 20 years encounter as a method builder and think these are an superb replacement P/S for micro-ATX. As noted elsewhere, make confident your case has clearance for the fan protrusion, which is almost expected in this larger output unit.

Small. Appears good. Strong construction. Tight (as you would count on). Proprietary power provide. I built a pc for my parents making use of this case. This week, the machine failed to boot, and I determined that the energy provide was poor. Not discovering one particular at NewEgg that looked equivalent, I known as Antec to see what power supplies would operate. Turns out, the power provide is proprietary and not longer produced. Even so, they have One model that will perform. But they are on back order. So the machine will sit here until Antec has the 1 power supply that will work for this case in stock. Who knows what it will price! Anyway, be advised... if you need to have a PS... you are completely at their mercy.
