Works so far, upgrade from earlier 300W 鸠 max). Cables are extremely nicely wrapped, no loose wires hanging out. Preceding reviewwer Ư on noise, fans are a bit loud, not sufficient to be a killer but not as quiet as a few other PSU's I have had. For a household workplace for occasional use it will be OK, but if you are gaming & will need quiet to hear what's sneaking up on you, or if you will be sitting nexxt to it all day extended, it may be annoying. OK I bought a ฤ PSU, I am not expecting it to be a ๛ unit, so it meets my expectations, so five eggs. If you are vvery picky about obtaining the finest of all worlds, don't price a affordable PSU low, pay for a superior PSU!

A very good energy supply... for a little significantly less than two months. I left my home with everything hunting A okay, and when I came property about two hours later, my program was off. I walked up to it and stated "...okay..." and hit the power button. Nothing. When I did the diagnostics on the program to come across out what was incorrect, I found that the PSU was dead and the very same for my processor and/or CPU, even achievable for the RAM. The PSU was replaced with an OCZ unit and I will find what of my other hardware was killed as well. There was no storm or energy outage while I was gone, so the final conclusion is that the Logisys PSU killed my technique. Final believed: Don't acquire no-name PSU's. EVER.

It powers on the pc and puts out the expected voltages inside specs. This factor is louder than your washing machine, dryer, and muscle car with dual exhausts. So loud in the course of troubleshooting at the customer website, that I was embarassed to have integrated it in the create. Was quiet at very first, but now the fans consistently spin as loud as the space shuttle on take off. Should have stuck with HEC, Coolermaster or Corsair. Lost income on this one particular, can\'t advocate.

Ok, the thing does have two x 6pin pci plugs. It has 25 amps on the 12 volt rail, which is quite excellent. The metal case looks genuinely good with its black finish. Looked fantastic in my case thats also black on the inside. Oh, and it has an eight pin mobo energy provide too, rather of just 4. Ok, Put this into a new develop, and it worked fine for about a day and a half. Woke up today, turned on the Computer, almost everything loaded fine, went into the kitchen to make breakfast, then went back into the pc room to appear something up. Noticed the monitor had no picture. Looked down and saw the energy indicator light was off on the case as properly. Bent down to check the back and make positive the cord hadn't come un plugged, and smelled a burning electronics smell.I also believe the continuous energy rating for this is like 450. Max energy is 575. So I dont assume you could EVER essentially run two video cards crossfired with this PSU. Running 1 modest video card would almost certainly be fine, but don't push it. I don't know, just type of a shame. It genuinely looked nice and it worked appropriate out of the box. But I am so glad the factor broke now rather of a month and 1 day from now. I am in the method of RMA'ing it as we speak.I will be finding a much more powerfull PSU. I would in all probability not recomend this 1 to any person trying to create something other than a fundamental computer system for each day household use.

- Simple set up - The cables are wrapped in mesh, tends to make for a cleaner look in the box- Keeps nice constant voltage, even beneath load (according to SpeedFan) None Purchased to replace an old dying 500W PSU that was barely acquiring the job done in my rig, so went with a small far more juice and so far its working flawlessly. For the value, can't get a lot much better imo.

Was affordable when I got it, and came with a nifty card reader. As title says, power provide failed just beneath four months of use. Also Quite loud twin 80mm fans. I'm type of glad this PSU failed on me, gave me a purpose to replace it with a COOLER MASTER Elite 460, and it is soooooooooooooo significantly quieter with it's single 120mm fan.

It didn't burst into flames. I would have liked to give a couple of "Pros" for this item above....but regrettably it was only in the pc I was creating for about 5 mins.....which wasn't lengthy enough to give it a function out. Why did I pull it? Soon after turning it on, I believed Airforce A single was attempting to land in my front yard.I have purchased some price range power supplies in my life, but never ever a single as loud as this sucker. No, a fan was not grinding on a grill, or something like that....it's just plain LOUD. I imply LOUD!!! Truly, Truly LOUD!!! The 80mm fans are very affordable, and obviosly the rpms are rated also quickly to be considered something within a mile of being quiet. Check out the Logisys power supplies with 120mm fans. Have owned a couple which had been quite quiet, and reliable. They are roughly in the same cost neighborhood.Keep away from this 80mm fan model unless you are hard of hearing, or have heavy metal music blaring in the background to drown it out whenever you use your computer.

three months without failure.powers every thing i throw at it.plenty of amperage on all rails. (including -5v for anyone who needs it) dual fans. notable drop in temps. looks nice. appears upside down when installed. no issue.MOST INEFFICIENT PSU EVER. this point gets burning hot when at a complete 450 watts or so for extended periods of time. my outlet draw (kill-a-watt meter) sometimes reads virtually 725 watts at full load. that previous con is compounded by the microscopic heat sinks. i guess this is exactly where that dual fan high airflow comes in handythis issue is not remotely silent. all that airflow by means of 80mm fans is often going to induce some resistance and noise. nonetheless, it is not a problem for me as i certainly love this factor's airflow.. -1 egg for the inefficiency bought august 24, received a couple of days later. NEW EGG ROCKS. been running this thing practically 24ǝ because and it is still operating. great psu unless you hunt each and every final penny on your utilities bill.

Value was eggcellent. Has a lot of connecters. Has SLI assistance. Fan noise isn't as well negative considering there are two. Has 26 or 25 amp rating on 12 volt rail. Wouldn't want to run higher finish cards on this. You get what you pay for. This is my fourth logisys PSU and I have never ever had a issue with 1 yet.

Nicely constructed energy provide with braided cords, bought this for 19$ on 12Ǟ񳏊 and its effectively worth the value. powers my overclocked GTX460 like a dreamdon't listen to the ppl complaining about it sounding like a jet taking off. I don't know what there talking about mainly because mines near silent. Sata cord a bit short for my tastes, but barely reached wished it had some LED lights on the fans, cant have to numerous shinny items in your case :)

Nicely, the pros have been that it was 575 with a decent 12v rail for a actually inexpensive price tag. (I know I shouldn't have bought it) Anyway, let's get to the cons.. I purchased this factor about 2009 simply because my old compy decided to die on me thanks to a careless friend killing it. I purchased this guy and utilised it for...... possibly a MAX amount of hours of much less than a month of the course of the two years. Back up computer system that I in no way utilised mainly because I had a substantially A lot superior laptop. Quickly forward to now. I in no way attempted to game on this point on my back up compy. So I toss it into this 560 GTX Ti with Phenom II X4 955 and four GB of RAM with two 7200 RPM HDDs. I play a game for.... 10-15 minutes if that. It shuts off my personal computer.I feel it's the CPU, it's the PSU mainly because I play the game again for 5 minutes. Shuts off and dies. Apparently, this thing can't handle anything which I didn't realize at first. I would In no way in my life suggest this to any person purchasing a new personal computer. Seriously, this issue really should ONLY be utilised if you're never going to do heavy operate or game on it. I'll never ever in my life obtain anything Logisys again, and if I ever have a pal ask me about any of their products, I will tell them not to get it.
