DDR2 PC2 6400 200 pin ram is High priced, but this is the ideal value out there for 4GB sticks (necessary to get to the 8GB maximum in a Dell Latitude E6500. It functions good, no difficulties to report. High-priced. Not really fair to get in touch with that a con, it's high priced everywhere. Dell BIOS is notoriously slow on the 1st boot right after you alter hardware. We're talking 20-30 minutes ahead of the BIOS password screen even shows up. Perform wonderful! I installed it in my Foxconn NT-330I which I also purchased from Newegg and booted fine. Also, Fantastic shipping as usual... Hurray Newegg! None! Read other thoughts. I have ubuntu 10.04 operating on my Foxconn NT-330I and it only recognizes three.2GB out of the 4GB of memory - 512MB of which is becoming utilized by the on-board video. After carrying out some poking around, it seems the rest is becoming utilized by ubuntu for other method sources. Windows 7 has no issue seeing the complete 4GB. |

I replaced 1x1GB and 1x2GB in my Thinkpad T61, giving me 4GB now and a spare slot for one more 4GB later.Works immediately with no fiddling, and even elevated the Windows Practical experience Index by .1 (if that indicates something) none genuinely. Several laptops advertised as 4GB max may well be in a position to use these modules to get 8GB total as an alternative. Thinkpad T61 is 1 example. Excellent memory for the price. I had bought 2 of these to upgrade my laptop from four Gigs to 8 gigs and its can be really expensive but this beats the cost to yes its economical and works fantastic. Running it in a Windows 7 OS HP laptop You have to do a run test to see if they work appropriately as I had each sticks in my laptop and following a week one of the sticks went bad and i got the Blue screen of death. I then ran the test to see which stick was negative and it told me, so I did an RMA on it to Newegg It was not a dilemma I have allways been a fantastic fan of Newegg and there reliablity to resolve isssues such as this so they sent me another stick of memory and I have been making use of them for two months with no challenges. Even car or truck manufactures make poor parts. So does everyone at one particular time or yet another but to resolve the issue is there greatest suit they take care of there customers. |

I purchased this for a Dell Latitude E6500 to take it up to 8GB. It worked on the 1st attempt as expected and has been working perfectly because. It's good solid RAM. My Windows Expertise Index went up two tenths to boot. It must be faster than the stock Dell RAM. None. |

Patriot Memory functions!!! Fantastic cost, worked as soon as I installed it. I had no issue installing it into the laptop. I purchased ƒ) of these for my HP-DV7 1232NR. Operating 64bit Vista House and the laptop and Vista saw it all the very first time. Not truly a con, but appropriate now my process is only making use of about 4gb's of the memory. Arrived in 1 piece? Purchased two sticks for my two NT330i nettops. BSOD's both pc's with these 4gb sticks. Operates fine with generic 2gb sticks. Possibly a incompatibility??? I will attempt to use these sticks in some other Pc to verify product is very good, but for now it looks like a incompatibility as I tested two identical sticks in two identical machines working with win 7 64 bit OS and this combination BSODS each machines. I have an extra 1GB now and can go up to 8GB later. none actually. Many laptops may possibly advertise 4GB optimum memory (certainly my model does) but dependent upon chipset may well well be able to use these modules for 8GB total. The problem is these modules didn't exist when the machine specs had been written. Your mileage may differ, but worth checking before replacing your machine, if you require far more memory. |

Cheap(er) compared to any other internet site for a DDR2 memory. Unless you want to wait genuinely extended, don't go for the No cost EGG SAVER shipping I have been buying with New Egg considering that ཀ and have observed it grow. Stable, tests out at advertised latency, excellent good quality memory. Greatest deal out there on a PC2-6400 4GB. I shouldn't complain considering that most areas charge nearly 贄 ea for this similar item. Would be nice to have paired memory available at a comparable (or better) price point. Worked excellent in my Sony VAIO VGN-AW120J/H to upgrade from 4GB. Also got a wonderful deal on a Samsung 500GB 7200rpm HD from the Egg. Combo made for amazing overall performance improvement. Operating Vista 64 Home Premium and decided the funds upgrading the memory and HD was much more powerful than moving to Win7. Happy camper. |
