DDR2 PC2 6400 200 pin ram is High priced, but this is the ideal value out there for 4GB sticks (necessary to get to the 8GB maximum in a Dell Latitude E6500. It functions good, no difficulties to report. High-priced. Not really fair to get in touch with that a con, it's high priced everywhere. Dell BIOS is notoriously slow on the 1st boot right after you alter hardware. We're talking 20-30 minutes ahead of the BIOS password screen even shows up. Wait it out, it'll be back to a speedy handful of seconds as soon as you boot all the way up and reboot again

Perform wonderful! I installed it in my Foxconn NT-330I which I also purchased from Newegg and booted fine. Also, Fantastic shipping as usual... Hurray Newegg! None! Read other thoughts. I have ubuntu 10.04 operating on my Foxconn NT-330I and it only recognizes three.2GB out of the 4GB of memory - 512MB of which is becoming utilized by the on-board video. After carrying out some poking around, it seems the rest is becoming utilized by ubuntu for other method sources. Windows 7 has no issue seeing the complete 4GB.

+It works!+Overclocks რ% with no challenge!+Basically as fast as my old 2GB module (see Other Thoughts)+Not insanely priced.+Hynix modules inside+It's Patriot. I enjoy their memory good quality and assistance, they're reaching out to folks all the time.+It's blue. Usually a plus.+Props to Newegg/DHL for finding these shipped (free) in the snowstorm that closed UB for the first time in 4 years. -Rage due to the fact DDR3 prices are so considerably more affordable!-Unresponsive when asked to make a sandwich. With a 2GB module on a PM45 chipset I am obtaining a six.8 in WEI on Win7.These have Hynix HMP351S6AFR8C-S6 chips in them.Technically I believe these are ever-so-slightly slower than my previous 2GB module due to the fact their RFC is a little greater ࿮ vs 51). However my benchmarks are somehow 1-two% quicker on memory study/write/copy.I was worried this RAM would limit my OC, since I have to OC the FSB on my laptop (Asus G50vt), but it handles it like nothing even occurred. I have never ever played with RAM timings nevertheless because I assume they make such small distinction compared to a FSB/CPU OC.

Works just fine, and gives a speed increase as well! I've by no means had a problem with Patriot Memory, and I'll obtain a lot more of it in the future. None. DDR2 RAM in common is acquiring expensive, and it's not most likely to cease now that DDR3 is dropping in price. If you're organizing on upgrading, you may well want to choose up the RAM now rather than wait for rates to drop, as that could not happen.

Fast delivery by Newegg, Quick set up and overall performance increase for my CQ 61 laptop now runs with five.75 gb of ram at start off up couldn't pass on price vs gb for this If you need ram and this fits your comp grab some ,appears to be fantastic excellent reasonably priced ram None so far have used a lot more high-priced ram prior to , the best brands and I don't notice any difference with the Patriot vs them

I replaced 1x1GB and 1x2GB in my Thinkpad T61, giving me 4GB now and a spare slot for one more 4GB later.Works immediately with no fiddling, and even elevated the Windows Practical experience Index by .1 (if that indicates something) none genuinely. Several laptops advertised as 4GB max may well be in a position to use these modules to get 8GB total as an alternative. Thinkpad T61 is 1 example. If you need to have much more memory, worth researching prior to replacing a machine.

Excellent memory for the price. I had bought 2 of these to upgrade my laptop from four Gigs to 8 gigs and its can be really expensive but this beats the cost to yes its economical and works fantastic. Running it in a Windows 7 OS HP laptop You have to do a run test to see if they work appropriately as I had each sticks in my laptop and following a week one of the sticks went bad and i got the Blue screen of death. I then ran the test to see which stick was negative and it told me, so I did an RMA on it to Newegg It was not a dilemma I have allways been a fantastic fan of Newegg and there reliablity to resolve isssues such as this so they sent me another stick of memory and I have been making use of them for two months with no challenges. Even car or truck manufactures make poor parts. So does everyone at one particular time or yet another but to resolve the issue is there greatest suit they take care of there customers.

Place two of these in my Dell Latitude E6400. No issues at all, I booted up and Windows 7 x64 reported 8GB installed. I'm a pleased client. None

Worked completely in my older MacBook Pro None

Review Date: 12/08/12
I purchased this for a Dell Latitude E6500 to take it up to 8GB. It worked on the 1st attempt as expected and has been working perfectly because. It's good solid RAM. My Windows Expertise Index went up two tenths to boot. It must be faster than the stock Dell RAM. None.

Installed in an HP Elitebook 6930p. Performs perfectly! I have under no circumstances used Patriot memory just before. I have only purchased Important for upgrades in the past. However the price tag for the comparable Critical chip was โ more. I read the evaluations, and absolutely everyone had positive comments, so I went ahead and ordered it. None I won't hesitate to acquire Patriot memory for future upgrades.

Patriot Memory functions!!! Fantastic cost, worked as soon as I installed it. I had no issue installing it into the laptop. I purchased ƒ) of these for my HP-DV7 1232NR. Operating 64bit Vista House and the laptop and Vista saw it all the very first time. Not truly a con, but appropriate now my process is only making use of about 4gb's of the memory. I actully purchased it to go alone with a SSD that I'm saving up for. I bought two of these instead of a 2x4 pack simply because getting them as eaches instead of a 2x4 pack was cheeper. (go figure)

Arrived in 1 piece? Purchased two sticks for my two NT330i nettops. BSOD's both pc's with these 4gb sticks. Operates fine with generic 2gb sticks. Possibly a incompatibility??? I will attempt to use these sticks in some other Pc to verify product is very good, but for now it looks like a incompatibility as I tested two identical sticks in two identical machines working with win 7 64 bit OS and this combination BSODS each machines. Manufacturer Response:Dear Valued Buyer, We're sorry for the inconvenience this may well have brought on you. Rest assured that your memory is backed by a lifetime warranty. To initiate the warranty or to resolve any technical matters such as compatibility, please don't hesitate to make contact with help@patriotmem.com. Sort Regards, Patriot Help

replaced a 1gb and 2gb Ɠgb total) with one of these in a thinkpad T61, for 4GB.I put it in and it just operates. Windows knowledge index went up by .1, if that implies anything. I have an extra 1GB now and can go up to 8GB later. none actually. Many laptops may possibly advertise 4GB optimum memory (certainly my model does) but dependent upon chipset may well well be able to use these modules for 8GB total. The problem is these modules didn't exist when the machine specs had been written. Your mileage may differ, but worth checking before replacing your machine, if you require far more memory.

upped my laptop to six GB way much less disk access had to pay money

Review Date: 09/30/12
Cheap(er) compared to any other internet site for a DDR2 memory. Unless you want to wait genuinely extended, don't go for the No cost EGG SAVER shipping I have been buying with New Egg considering that ཀ and have observed it grow. The only point that appears to be going south is the shipping practice. Granted it has turn into pricey to present No cost shipping these days but may well be they really should charge and have the items shipped a little quicker. The time it requires to ship, takes the sheen away from the prize

Really excellent price for 4GB stick, Observed performance acquire from upgrading from 4GB to 6GB altogether. Completely NONE!! I had a bad stick of 2GB stock RAM and replaced it with this. NO regrets.

Review Date: 09/24/12
Easy, put it in and gooooooooooo. I could not be happier proper now. I am itching to /flex my gaming muscles. Least pricey excellent module. I wish I had the ducketts to get two. DDR2 sodimm as a whole is pricey for older tech.

Review Date: 09/21/12
Stable, tests out at advertised latency, excellent good quality memory. Greatest deal out there on a PC2-6400 4GB. One particular of the least high priced techniques to make your aging laptop zoooooooom. Why can't it be as cheap as 204 pin? I shouldn't complain considering that most areas charge nearly 贄 ea for this similar item. Would be nice to have paired memory available at a comparable (or better) price point. Worked excellent in my Sony VAIO VGN-AW120J/H to upgrade from 4GB. Also got a wonderful deal on a Samsung 500GB 7200rpm HD from the Egg. Combo made for amazing overall performance improvement. Operating Vista 64 Home Premium and decided the funds upgrading the memory and HD was much more powerful than moving to Win7. Happy camper.

Memory arrived rapidly and I was capable to swap out my old a single gig for this new module. Installed on HP G60 and booted up with no problems. Win 7x64 recognized it and I have had no concerns given that. None noticeable.
