Had to modify to match it in (slid DVD drives up), but it operates and sounds fine. The dimensions are five.9" x 4.45" x 3.4" (L x D x H). No documentation or warrany info. Got no response from Diablotek on a query of the dimensions.

Purchased this for a secondary machine to replace an older 400W PSU. Reviews have been excellent and I necessary some thing low-cost but reliable. Installed and worked fantastic. Nit selecting right here. Not modular, but for the price tag who cares. 20Ʋ Power Pin demands to linked together just before putting it on the board.

Very good value for 500W Power Supply Fan is loud. I purchased this power supply for my Media Center pc but the fan is too load that is genuinely annoying. I was considering of returning it back to Newegg, but simply because I will be paying almost 30% of total price for shipping, I choose to just sell it on the craigslist and get a new a single.

Price tag was cheap and most of the critiques were fantastic, seemed like a very good decision for a inexpensive create I was placing collectively, newegg superb as usually bought 2 for two setups and owned significantly less than two months, 1 system quit working, I believed at 1st due to the fact the two fans were working it was not the energy supply, couldnt uncover the situation, brought it to a repair shop & soon after testing, identified it was the Energy Supply, was told even although it would not energy the computer, it could nonetheless have sufficient to run the fans, so 1 out of 2 PSU's dead soon after significantly less than two months. Study the evaluations thoroughly ahead of obtaining, I will make contact with Diablotek as it has a 3 year warranty on it.

I have applied these power supplies in 5 custom builds, like my own. The PS is really quiet, I left a computer system on for 3 days due to the fact I thought is was turned off. Provides a excellent bang for the buck. It would be nice if the cables were shielded with a mesh covering..... I wouldn't in fact take into account that a con even though, because it does not hinder functionality It's presently operating:Core2 Quad processor6GB RAM19 in 1 card readerVideo capture card1 - 30GB SSD1 - 1TB SATA IIRadeon HD 5770 OR GeForce 8800GT OC (I have and use each)

Newegg has stepped up and helped resolve my challenge. THANKS I purchased this product via new egg in January and it failed in july. Known as Diablotek to file warrenty claim and was told to send item back. After sending back Diablotek seems to have lost it. Soon after 3 days of telephone contact and no returns, I have begun to believe they just dont seem to care. I have now called Newegg and they are going to replace it {Way to go Newegg} subsequent time I'll buy an additional product

This thing worked just fine. Had all the connections we required. The fans had been not silent for sure. I would not say they are loud either. They can be heard if the case is out in the open. If it sits in a cabinet or anything, you probably would not know its there. Extremely quiet and stays cool. Easy install. It does not have 34 amps on the ი volt rail as the picture displaying the specifications implies. It only has 24 amps. I was a bit disappointed that it wasn't the 34 amps. That was the principal cause I ordered it in the 1st spot to power my new graphics card. Luckily the minimum amps encouraged for my graphics card is 24, but I can nonetheless tell it isn't getting the power it demands. I'll use the power supply for now since I require it, but I'll nevertheless be seeking to eventually replace it.

Functions fine, no hiccups, built a new box. Read other thoughts. Runs everything just fine, even even though I program on upgrading to far better PSU at a later date. None at this point. No random restarts, no overheating. The 4 pin connector is barely enough to reach the MoBo, but my box is a**backwards, PSU at the bottom. So I will not complain. But it's extended enough that if the PSU is upside down in the situation it works excellent. Comment:
This PSU arrived promptly, worked completely ideal out of the box, and hence far it's kept up with every single test and unreasonable demand I've sent its way. Its fan is also the second-quietest moving part in my entire rig. I do wish that it had an additional molex plug or two, but I can get by on what's offered. The cables themselves could be a bit longer, also, and finding them to bundle neatly with out obstructing air-flow has been a challenge. These most likely aren't key limitations unless (like me) you're working with a large case and mostly pre-2004 hardware. Shopping for this as an alternative of a a lot more pricey name-brand PSU was a gamble, and in my case it paid off beautifully. Diabolotek has established to my satisfaction that you don't often have to devote a fortune to get very good hardware.

Powers an i7 2600 and a Radeon 5770 without having any issues. Solid via method overclocking. Fans are loud and incessant. Would have gladly paid ŭ-บ a lot more for a rheostat fan controller that spins up with heat & wattage load. Strong energy supply. Don't count on phone help for this value, on-line web support only.

None Tis item was dead suitable out of the box. The Manufacturer's original container seems to have been previously opened and then resealed. Bench testing the power supply showed no output and the fans did not even turn on. I tried a spare P/S and it ppowered up method fine. Nixed the concept of a Diablotek and sent it back to Newegg and ordered a Corsair. Newegg was extremely rapidly to respond with an RMA so that is a plus for them.
