So far no problems with this card. During sequential writes I saw write speeds between 4.4 and 4.8 MB/s, sequential read unknown but 250MB test folder transferred in less than a second. Plenty fast for hobbyist photography use, random file transfers, or expanding an mp3 player.Like most full-size SD adapters the microSD card slides into the edge opposite the connectors, and as it is only held in place by light friction it would be advisable to add a piece of tape if you plan to use it in a mobile device without a covered slot.Also of note, the adapter includes the standard slide-switch to request read-only mode from the host device, but the image used shows a "volume"-style triangle beside the word "Lock"... Cheap little card for 1$ during the black friday sale. Can't go too far wrong for that price, but don't expect the card to do any demanding tasks. You don't see very many products listing Class 4 cards as minimum requirements.It's still 4gb of storage for general usage. I'd get more at that price, but otherwise I'd pass. |

Unsure given that it was DOA. It was bent in the factory packaging... (inside of the plastic case.) Wasn't recognized in two various SD readers and didn't operate in Android phone. Will cost much more to send it in for an RMA than the disk itself expense. Should have looked on this web site for ratings prior to acquire. I am using this in a Garmin Nuvi, a device that has been widely reported to be finicky about flash card compatibility, and it works fine. GPS's are notoriously slow at data transfer so it doesn't begin to test this card's class 4 speed rating. For large transfers of map data to or from a computer, it certainly is much faster to remove the card from the GPS and use it with the included SD adapter in a regular card reader. This Patriot Signature card is inexpensive but I see no reason to pay more. |

4gb MicroSD/SD "include 2 adapters which convert the microSDHC card into a complete size miniSDHC and SDHC card." It does not come with a MiniSDHC adapter. This procuct is unusable to me.
