Good slim size. Average speed, I suppose, not what I'd call slow. Loaded it with 4G (� files) from my A-Data 4G (blue, also a nice unit!)in about 20 minutes, I guess. Didn't remain at the pc to watch. Recognized instantaneously by my operate computer (Windows 2003) and home 񢉐 expert). Not loaded with further computer software, just straight up storage. No corruption so far. Slip-on cap fits ok, no cracks, stays on. Hot swap works. LED is bright. Appears to be a good, reputable, uncomplicated to use basic unit. Have read that safety is downloadable from the Patriot site. Lanyard loop is small, narrow. Don't know what you'd slip by way of it if you like lanyards. I carry in my front pants pocket. Cap doesn't clip into location, just a snug slide match, despite the fact that so far this appears sufficient. Doesn't come with an extender cable, but so far, haven't required a single, either. Ports are on the front of the machine at work, have a hub on a cable at house so finding to the back of the tower is not an challenge. Haven't had this unit a month but, so it's challenging to create a glowing review about dependability or durability, but I've been carrying it in my pocket back and forth, working with it in both machines, and not one stutter, no structural difficulties. Functions effectively so far, uncomplicated, simple, sufficient speed, excellent price. If nothing at all modifications in a year, five eggs.

Bought as bd live memory so haven't really noted speed etc. Have owned flash, sd and desktop memory from Patriot and all have worked flawlessly. Not retractable like the san disk cruzers which are better than the "cap" when applied on keyrings.

This is a good flash drive. I wanted an cheap flash drive for function and picked up 2 of these. I was worried simply because it didn't appear like it had a status light, but when i plugged it in a red light appeared threw the dark plastic. That was a good detail.No application is pre loaded on this, which is very good. The cap can be be a tiny difficult to take off. It gets much easier as soon as you know how to do it. This is 1 of the couple of good plain flash drives. I recommend it.

Higher capacity, low cost, sleek & slim design. This issue is the slowest thumb drive i've ever owned. I'm even testing it appropriate now and it's taken 30 mins so far and shows 90 remaining for copying 70mb. Also, cap doesn't have a excellent way of attaching, i'm confident it'll get lost. Maybe i just got a negative 1, but i won't be getting one particular from Patriot once more. Tends to make me pleased that I've stayed away from their RAM as properly. I liked my very first 1 so much, I bought one more and will look at additional as stocking stuffers for the holidays. Nada Okay, about that NTFS formatting factor... I found directions on a web site (can't post hyperlink - Google search "format flash drive ntfs") and it's genuinely simple. I reformatted my new drive NTFS and it works just fine. When formatting, it could not show the progress bar like it usually does, but it'll let you know in significantly less than a minute that it has been formatted (using fast format).

8gbs is fairly cool. Good sleek design. Does what it's supposed to do. It's a bit slow. The cap is smaller and uncomplicated to drop. The little hole on the end isn't keychain friendly. I'm going to have to get an extra attachment or anything to carry it about. The space and price are good but subsequent time I assume I'll spend a small bit a lot more for a drive with a tiny bit a lot more speed...

This is a quite fantastic flash drive. Sleek design and style and little. It fits incredibly securely (almost too tight) into usb ports. Actual drive space is 7.45 gig. I know that's just how it goes but for once I'd like to get some storage media that fits as a lot as it says. Shipping was terrible with this item. The actual package is barely larger than a deck of three.five notecards but it took 12 days to get to me. Newegg is generally seriously quick on delivery but "UPS mail innovations" dropped the ball on this a single.

I'm confident it isn't the quickest drive on the industry but I think it is a fantastic value.
