Cons: will play HD videos fine but don't expect to do anything else at the same time

Pros: small, quiet, 1080p HDMI native, good build quality
Comment:
in general a great little computer to surf, slide show pics, play music and watch videos. Don't expect to be able to watch TV on it unless you have a TV capture device with hardware encoding. Most of the USB capture sticks work on s/w encoding and although this unit comes close to doing it, it maxes out the cpu and video studders. I record TV on my home server and use Windows Media Classic on the REvo to play through home theatre and it works great!

Cons: lots of bloatware in windows 7, old drivers fro NVIDIA

Pros: small, quiet, comes with french wireless keyboard, wireless mouse, vesa mont and stand.
Comment:
so far I kept windows 7, cleaning the bloatware, install AVC codecs and MPC. First impressiong 720P is cristal clears no problems. 1080P sucks, ut studders, sound cut in and out and has a hard time ready it... but it only uses 30% of CPU. I was told to used the GPU for better performance, and it sucks even more. It's good to go for 720P but i'll keep searching for codecs for 1080 and perhaps downgrade the OS. I got a bluray drive coming for it, i'll keep you posted how it does with it.

Cons: This Machine is a better HTPC then a Gaming Computer

Pros: Very Small SizeLow Power ConsumptionRF Keyboard and Mouse
Comment:
I bought this unit to use as a compact low power consumption HTPC for my Travel Trailer. It is absolutely fantastic and better then any ITX Solution I could have built. It has the VESA mount that I used to mount the computer inside a cabinet and I am using this with a Samsung T220HD Monitor for 1080P Output via HDMI. It runs perfectly sudder free and looks fantastic. I Bought a set of Logitech Laptop Speakers to use with this unit as well. One of the best things about this machine is the use of the RF Mouse and Keyboard. I tested it from an adjacent room and it still worked. So with the PC mounted in a cabinet I can still use the Keyboard and Mouse anywhere in my Travel Trailer (Super Bonus).I highly reccomend this unit as it is an outstanding deal for the price... 4GB of RAM and 500GB HDD is a nice combination and Windows 7 is very snappy with this hardware.I give this a 2 Thumbs up!

Cons: some limitations

Pros: quiet, efficient, quick, runs everything I need
Comment:
I got the computer coming from an amd 3800x2 with geforce260gts and windows xp. Kinda a gaming rig from yesteryear. It took me the average 2-3 hours to set this comp up and get all the extras I didn`t want. Everything has been working great. I would say this computer is doing everything i need right now great. movies, internet, msn. yes it can run multiple tabs in browswer while playing music and msn like a general computer should. The only limiting factor I`ve seen so far is in flash. It runs most sites fine no hiccups or anything but every so often there will be an unplayable site. HD content is a breeze for this (including hd flash in most cases). If you are looking at this computer for energy saving or for your home entertainment center I would say get it.

Cons: graphics card

Pros: size, ram, hard drive
Comment:
I had my eye on this setup for a while. The size is just perfect for connecting this via HDMI to my living room tv and so far, so good. One issue is the french keyboard, I talked to a sales person at the west broadway location and he promised me that they were shipping out replacement keyboards as early as tomorrow (nice!) but that I had to email them with the receipt number and my address to get the replacement. Time will tell if they were telling the truth or just saying anything to get a sale. The graphics card is just fine for older computer games and video, its not a gaming setup, not by a long shot but the 4 gigs of ram and the nice big 500gb drive go a long way.I will give it 4 stars, NCIX better send me that english replacement keyboard.

Cons: Ships with a french keyboard!! Power light blinks brightly when asleep.

Pros: Windows 7, low power usage and quiet.
Comment:
Acer will not replace this keyboard with a wireless english version. Reguardless of the fact they ship them in the USA. Apperently to Acer everone in Canada should use a french keyboard. NCIX did their best but Acer will not supply the proper keyboard.Acer has lost any of my future business because of this.

Cons: windows7 is the same old crape that M$ feeds the masses. The sale didn't say any thing about a French keyboard, so I got stuck with a keyboard I don't like. But it all works well - hardware I mean.

Pros: Powerful, small, quiet, hydro friendly
Comment:
After just over a month of use I find windows7 just doesn't cut it. It also will not play some 1080p videos that the hardware is fully able to do. So I installed Ubuntu 9.10 on it with the fully Gnome desktop to be fair for comparison. I have to say that with Linux now on the machine, I can run xbmc without any choppiness and choose any HD movie. Such as Big Buck Bunny which my daughter enjoys and others, now with out any issues. If someone really wants to get every thing out of this little unit, you would put in a lite weight desktop and roll your own kernel. I just don't feel like putting Gentoo on it yet as it's running pretty fast with a generic Ubuntu install, and since it NOW does what it was advertised to do - all is well!

Cons: Lots of bloatware to remove - mine was shipped with a French keyboard.

Pros: Small, quiet, simple
Comment:
Quite a nice little PC that packs a bit of power. I have mine mounted to the back of my monitor so it is nearly invisible. It stays quite cool and is great for web brousing and MS office stuff.Only complaints are that the stand is not very stable (I'm using the monitor mount which is great) and that mine was shipped with a French keyboard. Working with acer directly to get a replacement.

Cons: Keyboard is Spanish (uhhh???), once in a while Windows will keep you waiting (I clicked on the Tools menu in Internet Explorer and waited 15 seconds for a response once). Lots of bloatware.

Pros: Lots of ram for integrated Ion graphics (as opposed to the 2 gig model), lots of storage space, Windows 7 runs very peppy, lots of display / audio options (SPDIF/HDMI/VGA/3.5mm), small, mounts to my TV, wireless keyboard / mouse / internet work great, plays HD videos with no problem (provided you have installed the proper codecs).
Comment:
Over all I would say this computer is a great addition to any entertainment unit. I upped the integrated graphics memory to 512 right away and downloaded the appropriate codecs for watching high def movies. I would get rid of the bloatware right away (Office trial, McAfee trial, useless games, etc). Installed WoW and it runs at 18-32 FPS when graphics mem is at 512 and settings are at medium (including resolution). High def videos play without a single hickup. Anyone who is a r3610 nay-sayer has no idea what they're talking about. Get one of these things before they sell out.Make sure you create  a backup of the hard drive since it doesn't come with a Windows 7 disc. You will have to either attach an external DVD/CD burner or a flash / external drive.

Cons: SPDIF port on the front. Why not put it on the back?

Pros: Small, fast, silent. Looks great. Video kills.
Comment:
Came with wireless keyboard, mouse and a VESA monitor mount.Very fast and great as HTPC with the ION chipset. Video playback is great...not stutters over wireless streaming on my local lan.Looks pretty good. A little like a Wii when it is on the stand. All in all a very nice little package and great for the price. My first Win7 computer (Mac user) and suprisingly enough it is usable.

Cons: somehow I have to use USB wireless adaptor to connect my WRT610N

Pros: win 7, good graphic output.
Comment:

I have to steal my dad's USB N adaptor and plug it into this devil to connect thought internet, no driver update d so far, and I am afraid to update  my router's firmware for this little devil. But so far it works great with the USB adaptor, hope this problem will be fix asap.
