Cons: Seems to consume batteries rapidly.

Pros: No receiver, comfortable.
Comment:
Must have a WIN 7 certified wifi adapter to ensure compatibillity. Use the latest version of s/w from HP and update  the mouse F/W.Works good until batteries start to fail, then very sporadic connection. Sometimes does not wake up after a period of suspension - have a desktop shortcut to disenable/enable wifi to get the mouse recognized. Not exactly without issues, but kind of neat, nonetheless.

Cons: The worst mouse ever. There's a restaurant downtown that I've heard referred to as 'Hot, sick garbage' - This is the mouse equivalent of that.

Pros: It didn't cost that much, so I don't feel as though I've burned a stupid hole in my wallet when I toss it in the trash.
Comment:
Even if you're contemplating it because it's so cheap (really the only reason you'd go for it), for the love of dog, don't.Wifi connectivity is spotty at best.Software is absolute garbage.I won't even bother with support based on almost every other forum post I've read.Latest software doesn't improve things much, even after a firmware update.Randomly leaves you mouseless.I could go on, but seriously, just don't. Buy 8 dollars with bubble gum, chew it all in one shot, then spit it out. You will have received more value for your money.

Cons: Can have issues connecting

Pros: No USB usage, heavier weight, nice looking mouse.
Comment:
I initially tried to install this mouse on a newer Lenovo laptop and after a couple of hours, gave up. I believe it was a software or driver conflict.I tried another install the next day on my older Dell Inspiron 1501 (upgraded to Windows 7) and had zero problems after the 2 minute install process. Mouse worked immediately and is still working with no issues. The sale price is excellent value especially since I'm saving a USB port by not having to plug in a micro-USB adapter.

Cons: no software updates, doesn't work well with windows 7 or 8

Pros: No usb receiver, when it works.
Comment:
I used it for windows 8, no problem, needed to change OS's to 7- packaging said it would only work for 7. no problem.Worked for a bit, created a bunch of virtual wireless networks and then it decides to never connect. Every time I change computers I try this mouse again, it works for a bit- then fails- other online comments show similar experiences.Firmware/software doesn't look like it will be updated - ever. I wouldn't pay $5 for this mouse.Sweet idea, poor execution, no support.I would rate this with less stars however I purchased it through a different supplier - think it was a Dell deals

Cons: Only works with windows 7, really, just 7!No receiver so it can't just be taken from your computer by you to use on anotherWifi randomly disconnectsWifi is erratic when there is a download going

Pros: No receiverCan't just be taken from your computer by someone to use on another so less chance of it going missing

Cons: Then takes that possibility away by flakey engineering and poor execution.

Pros: Cute, small. Offers the possibility of not using a receiver.
Comment:
Read reviews, the number of problems is huge. You might be better off with a lottery ticket. Nothing to see here, keep moving

Cons: Doesn't work - steadfastly refuses to connect

Pros: None. The mouse simply will not work.
Comment:
The mouse is W7 only - which is fine, b/c I have a W7 system. It is supposed to operate through a WiFi connection. The software is, at best, crude. The mouse, even if recognized, will not work. Read the forums and complaints about this on the HP website before you contemplate it. In the 10 days I've had it, it randomly worked once (and then, just as randomly, stopped working). I followed the various work-arounds & proposed "solutions", but to no avail.Useless. Not even heavy enough to be useful as a paperweight. Even heavily discounted, it is not worth the money. For some reason, the above review is considered too short to be acceptable.
