Q-See QSDT404C Digital Outdoor Camera Kit and Receiver
The QSDT404C is a wireless camera and receiver combination that allows you to monitor an area through a TV set. You can also attach the receiver to a VCR or DVR to record the video files. The unit uses digital technology that helps it avoid interference from other wireless devices using the same frequency such as wireless internet routers and cordless phones. The receiver can support up to 4 wireless cameras and will allow you to view them all at once or one at a time manually, or in an automatic sequence. It can receive signals from the cameras from a distance of up to 300 feet line of sight, and an audio receiver so that you can hear as well as see what is happening. The camera is strong enough to send a signal up to 300 feet line of sight, and has a microphone to send audio as well as video to the receiver. This camera can be placed indoor or outdoor as it is weatherproof. It has a 3.6mm lens that will allow you to get a good field of view, and 24 LEDs that provide night vision up to 26 feet.
Q-See wireless products are portable, mobile units that deliver live images directly to a TV, or dedicated recording stations such as a DVR or VCR.
What It Is And Why You Need It:
Supports up to 4 cameras. But you can't buy extra cameras. If you want 4 cameras you also pay for 4 receivers. what a waste. Every camera comes with another receiver. Poor Planning. Other wireless cameras are not compatable. Q-See customer service is non-responsive. Transmitting through 2 office walls cuts range down to about 45 feet. You are now fore-warned.
