Dropped in a tough drive and ram and installed Windows 7 very simply.I'm utilizing it as a file server so the gigabit nic is great.The dual core atom is outstanding for supporting numerous connections executing HD playback. Energy provide is LOUD. I've got it in the garage so I don't care, but there's no way I'd have this in any space in my property.Case is a bit tight for putting in drives, but hey, it's a miniITX, what do you count on. Fantastic tiny file server, really rapid network speed. If I move it inside I'll switch out to a power brick instead of the really loud internal

Just add a HD, RAM and OS and it's up and running. Installed ubuntu ten.04 LTS 64 bit and every thing works good. Initial situation with the power light not working even immediately after reseating the connection, had to force it a small tougher than I was comfy with but it's working The Foxconn SFF R30-D4 was the same price as this when I bought it but has since dropped from 139.99 to 114.99

tiny The PSU became so hot that had it been in contact with any flammable supplies, it would have began a fire. The PSU was faulty within 5 months.
