I have had other coolers better prices, but as a friend of mine used to say, you get what you pay for. I bought two, not at the same time and I am satisfied.

it works, and it does its job, but it really isn't that great, the fan spins waayyy too slow to do much good... coolermaster has one like this w/ an 80mm fan that probably works much much better, and it costs half as much.

I bought this notebook cooler thinking it would cool my notebook dell xps, untill it got here, it didnt do anything, the fan is way too weak, the rpm is slow and instead of cooling it, it rather makes it even warmer. not the best cooler out there.

Worked as expected. My laptop wouldn't even stay on for 10 minutes due to overheating. Bought this, and ran my laptop for more than 10 hours without any issues. Thanks!

Works really well, quiet, has some extra USB ports (though not powered), does keep my Toshiba 15" laptop a lot cooler. But has a big fan situated directly in the middle, which doesn't line up with the Toshiba outlets, which means it keeps my RAM cool, while the larger CPU fan and heatsink are out of range for it.

Seems to work but not worth the price. Fan not situated in proper place for my HP pavillion. Need two fans placed side by side widely on base. The fan is centered on the base but only will work best if there were 2 fans & had ability to variate the speed. Though it does run quietly.

Our production rooms gets to about over 90 degrees each day and hotter when we hit tripple digits heats. This works great. Keeps the laptop cool.

I'm very satisfied with my purchase of this product! I read all the reviews and am glad that I did so; because, they described the product's 120mm fan blows the cooling air UP into the vents on the bottom of the notebook and keeps the internal fan of the notebook from running keeping the notebook cool 100% of the time the notebook is powered-on! Also, having two (2) USB ports is a plus as well! I would recommend this purchase to any notebook or laptop user to cool the notebook/laptop!

A nice little cooling product for the money. It's one piece and a little bulky for your standard laptop bags but overall you CANNOT hear this thing when it's running and it does the trick making sure heat is evenly dispersed from the laptop. Make sure to read the product information before ordering this: It's not a fan replacement and it's not an 'easy button' for overheating laptops. It's a small, cheap piece of equipment meant to do what it does, take some of the excess heat away.

The cooler is very quite. You can't tell when it is on except for the blue light. It doesn't blow very hard, but it does seem to keep the computer cooler. Overall a good deal

I purchased the product to lengthen the life of my laptop as I use it for reading ebooks while sitting on my lap. Fan is extremely quiet, works well to keep ME cool and appears to keep the lap top from getting quite so hot. Only drawback is the edges can be sharp and dig into my legs after awhile. I checked to see if I could add a cushion strip but the vents are across the back where it would need to be placed to decrease the pressure on the tops of my legs. Still, worth the money, light weight and appears to do the job.

I have had two cooling pads for my laptop and both broke within a week. My laptop was burning up with heat and I had to have something fast.... Now my laptop is nice and cool and I have no broken the fan pad. Great product!

I bought this for my laptop that has a failing fan inside of it and this didnt help for that. It has a light fan so if your laptop overheats by a little it is a great buy but in my situation it didnt help at all.

This fan does it's job by adding another fan for a laptop but don't expect it to completely cool your machine. I've noticed the difference but it really just depends on where your intake fan is and how you position your laptop on it. Overall works good just have to jimmy rig it for your setup.

I am using the ThermalTake NBcool T1000 to cool a Dell Latitude E6400. So far the performance of this unit has been excellent. It runs very quietly, and I notice the notebook's internal fan is cycling on and off less frequently now. The air intakes on the sides are a stylish red. I am not sure I need the blue LEDs on the fan as the fan is not in view during operation. Flip-out feet allow you to increase the angle for the keyboard. I would recommend this cooler without reservation.

PROS: this product is well designed, light weight, runs silently, has an extra USB port. a good deal for the price...as long as your not trying to set your super overclocked dream machine on it you should be well pleased also. CONS: this product is a bit akward with the added hight and it is a bit undersized for anything over a 15.4 inch laptop/notebook. sugestion perhaps a steeper angle or a lip on the end that cups the bottom of the laptop/notebook. could be just a personal quirk.

I have an Alienware M5550 laptop. This thing gets VERY hot, especially when I'm gaming. I already burned out one defective video card, which warranty replaced. This notebook cooler greatly reduced the heat and the laptop has to work much less to keep cool! The only issue is I have to sit the laptop a little sideways because its intake fan is located very far to the right, on the bottom. Sitting it properly on the notebook cooler covers the intake fan. (Bad!) So, make sure you take a look at where your laptop's intake fan is located. Overall, I highly recommend this product! You can't hear the fan and the design is both unique and efficient.

I love this Fan base i have had it for almost a year now with no problems, extremely quiet and good airflow. the 120mm fan keeps my laptop cool in long sessions of halo, counterstrike and Guild Wars. i run a USB hub so the lack of USB's was not an issue, but i can see how i would be. over all i would recommended it to everyone who need a good fan base when the Vantec or Targus Notebook Chill Mat's don't do the job. ThermalTake is a common name you can find in many custom build PC's, why should it not be a part of your laptop too?

This is a single fan all plastic cooler, while verry rigid, it can be flexed with a twisting motion in your hands, it passes my durabillity standards. The finish is a high quallity gloss black, it looks good under the notebook, and is light enough for use in your lap. I have a 16" gaming notebook by asus, the manufacturer instructs you not to put this notebook in your lap, becuase it generates so much heat. With this cooler, I can comfortably use my laptop, without any heat build up at all. I stay comfortable, and my notebook stays cool, so its doing its job. I would not recommend this device for extra internal laptop cooling, the single fan is in a verry generic location, most laptop vent ports are in the front, and the notebooks main fan pulls the air from front to rear, this is to cool the harddrive and memory. I don't belive that it makes more than 1 to 5 degree internal temp diffrence. A good zalman will make a 10-20 degree manufacturer garenteed diffrence.

Other than being quite quiet it doesn't keep my laptop cool. In fact, I have to use a tabletop fan to help, keep my laptop cool. I can feel the heat coming out the back of the cooler so it does pull some heat but no enough to keep my laptop cool.

I just got this product and it has been working just fine. The only issue I found is that it you plug it out while charging the laptop otherwise the laptop charging never ends. Its been keeping my toshiba laptop pretty cool.
