Got this for a basic workplace personal computer. Boots swift and runs XP nicely. Runs quiet. That bar you see in the middle of the bezel lights up in a cool blue color when its on. The decrease clips on the front bezel can be simple to break. I broke one of them regardless of considerably care. Thankfully it didn't influence the bezel laying flat and staying in place. No genuine listing on the Foxconn internet site, so don't loose that driver CD it comes with! Only R40-D2 is listed in the driver section.I purchased it days prior to it went totally free shipping and on sale :( The CD drive was a bear to get in the suitable position. Took me three attempts ( one particular for each offset >.< ) to get it where it required to be. Center one was the winner.Quite Crucial. Do not acquire ram that has any sort of heat spreader or the like, or you will have clearance difficulties with the CD drive over hang.

lightwieght (relatively) but not low-cost-feeling, dual-core Atom (low-power) processor, and the internal design is excellent for being such a small form factor. The Card reader and optical drive are both on the very same removable caddy. Got it on sale! This, two X 2GB ﴠmhz (gskill), and one 1TB drive totaled 𞴾 bucks! Description could be misleading... It lists two 3.25" bays inside, but the 1 that is ("fit for CR") fit for the pre-installed card reader can not be employed for a second drive (runs into the extended energy provide). You will have to use the optical drive bay if you want a couple HDDs in this (in RAID Ǘ probably). Also, note the reality that there are no tough drives and no RAM included when contemplating buying. I plan to be working with this as a household server running linux. I put the max amount of RAM in ƔGB). Immediately after some searching, RAID Ǘ is supposed to be supported by the motherboard and its two sata ports, but as pointed out above, you will not be in a position to place an optical drive inside. I would recommend using this as an option to a NAS/home server/ftp server/etc., if you don't program to have an optical drive. Getting a thing like this opens up a lot of a lot more selections than having a NAS. I will update if I am unsuccessful in RAIDing two 1TB WD1001FALS drives with this mobo.
