Handled 1440P just like charm. IMAX full HD games are all very smooth. With MSI 990 16 to 24GB RAM

Cons: Without the proper drivers there is major conflict no matter the settings. Cant use the advertised Overclocked core and memory timings.

Pros: Works great once you get the proper drivers ...Runs quietly.
Comment:
Make sure not to load the drivers from the disk that are provided, or the drivers available from ASUS (13.20, higher revision than AMD actually has listed), but rather have the minimum of the current 13.12 catalyst drivers handy from AMD/ATI. The ATI Autodetect tool could't even see what card this was in the slightest... If you have loaded drivers for it, make sure to uninstall all traces of them before installing the 13.12 or higher from AMD. As well don't expect to be able to run at the advertised clock speeds, instead it will only seem stable around the reference design speeds of 1100MHz/1625MHz core/memory.There were all sorts of screen tears and artifacting as i was in various full screen apps and games, and it would randomly crash to desktop, or go into sleep mode while in use. I was unable to bring the computer back from sleep mode with any form of input so i would have to hard-boot each time. After replacing the ASUS drivers with the AMD 13.12, i have yet to have any of these errors although i am still having to run at reference design speeds. On Anandtech comparisons it shows that this card just above par with my 5850 (which is a great overclocker, especially when it is flashed to the 5870 to unlock its core and memory speeds), but it would seem that the R7 260X, even without its advertised speeds goes way beyond my 5850's capabilities, so i'm not sure why the comparisons put them so close. This card is quite a bit smaller in length than my 5850 allowing me some more breathing room in the case, and it doesn't cover my sata ports allowing me to finally plug in more harddrives than previously able. I attribute that to poor planning of the motherboards design.Over-all i would say it was a worthwhile upgrade in terms of speed. Hopefully also in stability with the newer driver set.As for cost i could have saved a couple dollars for switching brands, or spent a few more and gone with a higher card that doesn't have such consistently bad forum reviews elsewhere online. Maybe an even newer driver set will come out allowing me the proper posted clock speeds to make the purchase worth the reasons i bought it in the first place.
