Cons: Terrible fans.

Pros: Performs great in games
Comment:
I have one of these MSI 280x and I have 2x270x and all have had fan failures. Its mid Feb, I bought them in Dec!Avoid unless you only use these cards for low - mid gaming usage. Not for hardcore gaming, overclocking or mining.

Cons: Voltage locked

Pros: Good performanceQuiet
Comment:
Very good gaming performance and the cooler is great, runs both cool and quiet. Seems like the newer AMD cards are all voltage locked from BIOS, limits performance potential with overclocking.

Cons: Pci-e power connectors are somewhat obscured by a heatpipe.Voltage appears to be locked, maybeCurrently selling at over a $100 price premium over MSRP.

Pros: 10.75 inches in lengthSolid construction

I managed to shoe horn this card out of the wood work before the price took off. Paid 309.00 plus the complimentary BF4 made for a decent deal. The card appears to be voltage locked, however using power tune and a 1000 MHZ on the engine, cgminer reports 1.144 vddc. and runs about 80c. I can live with that. MSI AB just may support voltage changes in the future, but right now apparently not.The card is fantastic at gaming, running cool and quiet. A testament to the Twin Frozr cooler.Awesome bang for buck at 309.00 or there abouts; but paying over $400.00 for this card? No thanks.Wrapping things up, the card features the "Tahiti XTL Revision" GPU.

I have been looking to upgrade my 560Ti for a few months now and when the R9's were announced, I knew what I was going to do. This is my first MSI GPU, but I have owned half a dozen of their motherboards and never been disappointed. So far, the same can be said for this video card.I've tried this on every high-end game I own (Skyrim, BF3 and BF4, Crysis 3) with no issues or lag at all. All settings on Ultra (or equivalent). This is paired with an MSI Z77a-GD65 motherboard, 32GB G.Skill Sniper RAM (q1866), and an Intel 3570K q4.2GHz.

Cons: A little long...barely fit in my full tower case. Not really a con but it's worth measuring.

Pros: Very quiet and fast...I love it.

I bought this to replace my aging HD 6950...so glad I did. My 3DMark11 score went from 3850 to 9508 and the detail in Ghosts is incredible. (Extra high) I have actually noticed a difference in game play as well which is always a plus. :)

Cons: VOLTAGE LOCKED!POWER HUNGRY!

Pros: -Price-msi -warrantyquiet
Comment:
Very disappointed in MSI, they are my usual go to for mining cards, but these ones use 336 watts because they are voltage locked and only hash about 715 kh. Bought 8 of them and will most likely be taking them back. Would be a 2 star review but all know NCIX likes to remove those from time to time. Should have gone with sapphire even though I loathe their customer service, at least they won this round.

Cons: none so far

Pros: keeps cool , oc easy great product well made and its a black pcb
Comment:
I crossfired this card with an xfx r7970 black edition oc(GHZ reference card not the double D). I put the msi in master pci-e slot on a asus p9x79 pro and im not disapointed, works as intended. GPU-Z see it as a 7970 with the latest driver 13.11beta9.4. Well cooled than my old 7970. I would recommend this product.I think some bios update  can be done to the 7970 so they can be seen as r9 280 but not tested.

Cons: Ross doesn't believe, makes my computer heavier

Pros: Fast, cool, I own one
Comment:
The graphics card fits in the Cooler Master HAF - 912 in case anyone was wondering. Runs everything perfectly and the price is pretty good. With Mantel it's gunna be gr9.

Cons: Coil whine

Pros: Price. Twin Frozr IV
Comment:
Less power phase than Asus, but didn't have any issues with OC.Coil whine even after limiting game to 30 or 60fps, or overvolt, on Corsair AX1200 PSU. This review was modfied by poster @ 10-18-13 08:31 PM
