Quality and features only got 4 stars due to only 1 extra USB port and because its made mostly of plastic and if not handled with care could possibly break. But it functions wonderfully. Playing 3D intense games on my laptop and it keeps everything nice and cool. Fan speed is a plus, I can have it on low or off for simple things then turn it on high for video games. Just be sure to take care of it and it will last. |

this laptop cooler was awesome for the first 3 weeks i had it. it was quiet and powerful. but then after 3 weeks one day it just up and quit. i tried turning it off and unplugging it for a bit and that didn't work. tried putting it in someone else's laptop and that didn't work either. returning it today |

I purchaced this product from another vender but wanted to warn everybody about my experience with cooler master. When I bought this Item it was listed as having an optional usb hub that would expand it to 4 usable usb's instead of the one it ships with. After getting the cooler I called cooler master about getting the optional hub and was told that I was misinformed and there was nothing they could do. The vender said that they got the listing info from cooler master and I had to take it up with them. Cooler master has a model with the 4 port usb hub but won't sell me one because of where I live. Shouldn't matter where I live. I am a paying customer. I can't get my money back and I can't even buy the one I thought I was buying in the first place. Then after 3 months the one usb in the cooler broke and started crashing my os leaving me to reinstall the entire os again. Customer service is lacking. Think hard before buying anything from cooler master. |

Received this in excellent condition, product works great as advertised, in comparison to other similar fans, this one cools well enough to keep the laptop cool the whole time and you can feel the cold air flowing through. A very light, convenient, well made product, definitely recommend this! |

this is a good product, it really work well, my apple notebook heats a lot, but thank to this it stay super cool. I will recommend it to everybody with apple notebooks. The only thing is that the usb in the back does not work. |

It is quiet, light weight, solid, and does the job. My new notebook never heats up and the cooler pad provides good support when operating my notebook on my lap. It even fits into my notebook carry bag. |

I just bought two of these for my laptop and my wife's. Does a great job. With all the activity in the house, I don't even hear it running, even on its highest setting. We have had them for about three weeks now, and we love them. The USB port is a great addition. Kind of wish the blank cover on the other side had some more ports. That's my only comment for improvement. Great product. |

Because the laptop is often used on my lap it was important that the fans not blow downward. Not having little fold out legs like my previous unit was a bonus as they used to collapse or close. Fan operation is quiet and construction seems quite robust. |

to be honest i have only had this about a week now - this is the third cooler i have tried the varying fan speed is a great feature - i leave my lap top on so being able to vary the speed deepening on if i am using it or not is great - the usb port in the back, have not tried it yet as i have three hubs attached to the computer, but is a nice addition quite and seems to keep everything cool, (have a mac book) and the feature there says things are cool inside and out! keeping my fingers crossed this lasts longer than the previous two |

I bought this to cool my laptop, and while awaiting its arrival bought a targus on a boxing day sale. This one is not as quiet but seems to have stronger airflow than the targus which may account for the greater fan noise. This one has a multispeed fan where the targus is one speed. I am using this one to cool a HDD recorder in which I just replace the failed hard drive. |

Bought this product for my wifes Compaq F500 which I think by now everyone knows has overheating problems with the graphics chip in the system board. Well the puter dumped on me before I got the cooler so she is using it with my Acer until I can rebuild the board. I does not make a sound even on high but you can feel the air moving and the metal grid stays cool to the touch! Good Buy! |

I run a high end Toshiba gaming laptop, which overheated during certain games. I purchased this cooling pad andd it did the trick! No more shutdowns due to high heat. |

Great product. It keeps my laptop alot cooler than my last one, which died about after two months which is why I bought a new one. This one is very quiet and sturdy. I do not even konw its running except for the on-off light. Great product!! I highly recomend it for the price it is at. |

Not the cheapest but the best I have ever seen. The aluminum grill wicks heat form any hotspot so no need to worry about laptop cooling vents alignment with the fan. Very Quiet, below the ambient noise at my desk. It has a 3 speed fan but it is so quiet I just leave on high. The slight tilt is very comfortable. I will buy again. |

This laptop cooler actually accommodates 17" monsters. Best features: It draws air down through its to grill and forces heat pulled from the laptop out the back (keeps your legs cool too). Easy to switch on or off and connects via USB for power. Some laptops draw fresh air from the bottom of the laptop, then force hot air through copper fins at the back. This cooler allows you to still use it, but in the off mode (don't want it and the laptop fighting for the same air), while still providing a clear air channel through the cooler. It has a large enough surface area to easily seat "big" laptops on it while retaining the manufacturer's intended cool space below it. One improvement would be to prove for a reversible fan motor, thus blowing air up and into any laptops that suck air from the bottom. Last fine feature, the cooler is built in a wedge shape, so it lifts and tilts the keyboard up for easier typing. When you're not gaming that is. |

I like the facct my 17" laptop fits on this nicely. Its hard to find a good size cooler. The rear exhaust is fantastic!! It could be a bit more quiet, but it isnt loud either. Features wise Id like to see it have a card reader and or USB hub on it. Cost on this is a bit high without them, as other units have those features at a lower cost. The reason I choose this one was the rear exhaust and size. |

1st arrived with a defective fan but true to form contacted the company and an rma was established and a second cooler was sent. This one worked fine and has continued for the last month or so. Perhaps the future will be different but for now this cooler gets my approval. Thanks for the prompt service and excellent customer relations.
