Cons: None

Pros: Huge heatsinksStableCan run 2 video cards at x16 eachLooks nice...?
Comment:
Great motherboard. Lots of options in the bios - too many for new overclockers.Has been stable for me with no problems. Has button to clear cmos which is handy.Never used the sound 'card' that comes with it so can't commment on that.

Cons: Not included optional temp sensors. Northbridge/Southbridge run pretty warm. Lack of rs232 ports. Noisy Sound card during system activity. Having some trouble getting my ram to work at DDR2-1200 speeds.

Pros: Lots of features. Great overclocking options/results. Nifty LCD post display quickly lets you know if its gonna post when overclocking. Cmos clear button on the back!!!!
Comment:
The board is pretty solid as far as I can tell. System is stable at stock, and while I havent done too much overclocking, people seem to manage some decent FSB clocks with this fairly easily. The cmos clear button on the back panel is really handy when you need to reset the bios in a flash as well. (which you will do alot - there are ALOT of settings to play with in the bios) Optional temperature sensors would have been cool if included, but I managed to salvage some from an old front fan controller panel that went on the fritz a few months ago. (read manual to make sure you got the right + to + and - to - connections.) The N/S-bridge controllers on this thing run fairly warm on my system (46 idle in a cool room) Supremefx II soundcard front panel tends to be noisy whenever there is a period of intense system activity (CPU or GPU) - Though this might just be the front panel jack wires which would then be the case's fault. All in all, the motherboard was a breaze to install the software setup was simple.

Cons: Obviously pricey for a motherboard, but you get what you pay for.

Pros: Rock Solid motherboard with more features then you'll ever use.

I've had this motherboard for a few months now and haven't run into any problems. It has been extremely stable, and I haven't even been pushing it as it's capable. So I can't wait to really start doing some serious OC'ing. Have always been with Asus, and this motherboard hasn't changed my thoughts on staying with it.

Cons: No dual BiosAsus lack of customer support

Pros: A champ at overclocking
Comment:
This board is awesome, looks really good and overclocks like a champ. Sweet power and reset button to test a setup before you put it in the case. Also the Clear Cmos button on the back plate is handy. No need to take off the Cmos battery. One of the best boards I owned.

Cons: no E-sata ports

Pros: Great features, very stable , and easy to OC.
Comment:
This is my second mobo from Asus, no regret choosing this, excellent overclock-er, had so much fun to OC my Q9450. Thinking to build a extreme gamer using the Rampage Extreme when it's available.

Cons: price

Pros: fast, stable, great OCer, excellent cooling, great feature set
Comment:
At around $300 this is a pricey mobo, but its performance cannot be beat. It is extremely stable when coupled with an e8400 and 4gb mushkin redline memory. I have OC'd the cpu to 3.6ghz on only 1.2 volts and plan to go higher. The heatsinks are top notch and keep my board nice and cool. It is well designed and easily incorporates a TRUE hsf.

Cons: No COM (RS-232) port, no eSATA ports, and...see below.

Pros: Good looking, extensive overclock settings, ample accessories, bundled OEM software and game, nice driver support...
Comment:
First of all this is my first ASUS board. I have heard of the legendary ASUS high end board (black board) for years, and have finally decided to see it myself. In short, ASUS Rampage Formula meets my overall expectations as a top of the class motherboard, and due to my high expectations it gives me very little surprises.About the good news: this board is almost everything you could hope for a high end gaming motherboard. That's it.About the bad news: 1) The obviously stripped down I/O ports support: no COM (RS-232) port, not even a midboard connector; no eSATA ports. One would expect a motherboard like this to be all-capable, but unfortunately ASUS is playing the marketing games.2) This board provides three optional temperature sensor connectors. The manual says the optional temperature sensor cable is to be purchased separately, but I have yet to find any. In fact I have a temperature sensor that is from Koolance, for my watercooling loop. The sensor's connector is the same 2-pin as the motherboard, but the temperature reported in the motherboard is constantly -15 Celsius, which is by all means ridiculous. This is atmost a minor annoyance, but it'll make people feel much better had it worked, or had ASUS provided a compatible sensor cable. In conclusion, I absolutely love this board, and will recommend it to people who is looking for a high end DDR2 motherboard.

Cons: Silver heatsink at the back of the motherboard(when put in case) might get in the way of some heatsink mounting mechanisms, this was the case for my ultima 90, its a small problem and slightly bending 2 fins let it fit great.

Pros: Extremely good overclocking, Tons of useful features, Very stable, Great designs
Comment:
This motherboard is an excellent board for people who want the best overclock and a well built board. As my third motherboard from Asus i think i will never buy from any other company. These boards are well designed and loaded with features for everyone.
