This is the second case that I buy since I custom my computer. I was amazed at the weight and durable quality of the computer case. Ergonomic and portable with two handles. Space much thought. I can take up to 13 hard drives and 10 fans. Well ventilated. This is the ideal case for modding.

Cons: my biggest anger with this case is the cooling, if you are an averge guy that wants the nicest looking case around, but does not want to deal with the hassel of watercooling (custom) kits, you are pretty screwed. after loading this thing with as many fans as possible the ammount of airflow was sad. the side panel has room for only 2 120mm fans, being this is such a huge case youd think there would be ALOT MORE! that is why im giving this a 3 stars. dont be deceived by looks as i was. THIS IS A CUSTOM WATER COOLING CASE!!!!

Pros: -Huge, so much room to do things!-if some one tries to steal this fully loaded, i bid them goodluck=lots of grommits for cable managment and super sturdy
Comment:
IT IS BEING RETURNED for something that can accomidate more airflow!

Cons: Very heavy. But who cares? Some of the plastic parts seem a little weak.PriceShould have better water cooling support. No option from CM for a window.

Pros: Huge. Lots of room to work with.Great AirFlowDust filtersFan controllerVisually appealingCable management
Comment:
Very nice looking case with lots of room and great cable management.Lots of room for fans, has good airflow. The built-in fan controller is a nice addition.Only using for the last 2 weeks or so but I don't think dust will be much of a problem. I do have the case off the floor tho. Some plastic pieces seem to be very weak. Example: Drives I've had in the hotswap bays did not want to come out easily. Adding extra pressure on the release made it flex... more than I was comfortable with. I ended up having to open the case and pry the drive out gently.I've read many horror stories of cases getting damaged while in shipment, check your cases for damage upon arrival. The box mine was in had quite a bit of damage... but the case was undamaged. For the price, I feel it should have better water support. Just more room up top for a bigger rad would suffice. You can place rads in many different places tho.A better fan controller would be nice, but the one included is not bad. BTW, My case came with the updated fan controller.CM have said they will not produce a window side panel.Over all a great case, but because of the price and the few cons I will only give 4 stars.

Cons: No side panel window option as of yet. And for such a big case there should be more room above the motherboard for larger rads and push pull configurations up top. Also Unit isnt packaged very well. First one i recieved had a dent on the side and the door wouldnt close properly like it got twisted or something. But NCIX took care of it.

Pros: Very nice case. Super big and super sexy looking.

Over all satisfied with the case. few things that could have been done better with the lay out but over all a fantastic case.

Cons: No side window! A lot of plastic

Pros: It's beautiful, gigantic, so much room!
Comment:
Case arrived with order in 2 days. Very fast! After reading many reviews online and hearing about the fan controller and shipping damage, I am pleased to say mine arrived in pristine condition with the updated controller. I can't help myself, sometimes I find myself just staring at it! Make sure you have enough room, I actually have to have this monster sitting on top my desk as it doesn't fit underneath. Make sure you have a sturdy desk though, or better yet its own pedestal, this is over 50 lbs!

Cons: Huge and heavy.Really disapointed that case like this had no side panel window.

Pros: Huge(planty of room for anything.)look coolgreat airflow
Comment:
I know that there is a fan controler issue with this case but I got the NZXT controler so had no problem at all.I heard it is big but when I first got this monster, I was shocked. I had 1200 from antec which is full tower and big enough but when I put cosmos2 and 1200 side by side, man cosmos2 literally dwarfs 1200.Size is it's pros and also cons. Since it's big, you can throw any hardware you wish to have and still have enough room to work, like managing the cables. But because of its size, it's heavy. Heavier than any other case in the market. case itself weighs about 22kg, which means when fully loaded, it will be over 25kg at least. One other thing that I want point out is that it doesn't have the window on the side panel. With it's price, quality and design I was suprised that it didn't have the window(not even in CMstore.)If you want it, you have to mod it.other than that I really like this case.

Pros: - HUGE- Looks great- Cable Management- Quality Build
Comment:
So far I've really enjoyed building my new rig in this beast. I knew it was going to be massive, but when you have it in person, and try to place it under your desk, you really see how huge this thing is.A few little things that confuse me why Cooler Master would choose to do so, but otherwise a great case to work with.

Cons: Space left for the top rad mounted insideFan controller

Pros: Very big ...lots of spaceAwesome space management and mounting options
Comment:
This case is really awesome and you will have plenty of space but ... why CM did not leave enough space for the top Rad ?!? If you want to mount it inside you'll have to choose slim Rads (like the Swiftech ones) and if you want to go with a 360 Rad you will have two options :1/ You condemn the top 3.5" tray ... quite disappointing as there is only 3 trays for such a big case2/ You drill new holes to mount the Rad a bit further back ... Be aware !! with this option you'll have to put the fittings ports to the rear and you'll have to check if the motherboard ports don't interfere with your fittings choice. For instance with the Asus M5F you will not be able to mount the mPCiE combo card. You can suffer from malfunctioning front panel controls. It's a known issue for the Cosmos II and there is a new front panel assembly available if you ask to CM. But before check what's your problem. I had issues with the Power-Reset and Led buttons but not all the time. One day all the buttons were down !! After dismantling the Top panel and I discovered the problem ... The link between the buttons and the PCB of the controller is made by a flexible bridge (same type seen in laptops for the keyboard) and CM thought it does not need to be locked. So if you have erratic controls you can try to glue this bridge in place to see if it's correcting your problem.Sorry for the long summary but these two points are really important before purchasing this case.

Cons: Its bigger than you expect...so not necessarily a con

Pros: Build quality...incredible airflow...Room to spare
Comment:
This case is huge. I cannot believe how nice it is to have room inside...all these years of what i can only call torment...are over. If you like the looks...that's only the start. The Build quality...the airflow...did i mention the size? Very quite case. I cannot attest to how good for liquid cooling personally...from what i have found on the net, it does not seem to be a problem whatsoever. Its definitely not cheap...but i believe it will be worth just as much to me years down the road as it does today, not like all my other computer gear. Did I mention customer service? You have a problem, you get service and action fast, no hassle...this is worth it's weight alone.

Switched from Thermaltake GT Level 10. Absolutely love the case! Makes the entire system alot less quieter than before. Lots of room inside for proper cable management. Cons: None what'so'ever. If the size or weight bothers someone, then a smaller/cheaper case is fine.

Pros: It's a ferrari of computer cases! That's it.
Comment:
Got the case several months ago and love it every minute I use it. From whatever angle you look at this case, it always looks fantastic. Usability, quality, performance, space for hard drives, SSDs, cooling; all is perfect. It's not cheap, but people waste cash for dumb things. When spend for this case; it's a pure enjoyment for long, long time. I really don't foresee the need for getting a different gaming case. I have several builds right now, this one I keep for gaming and more. It's totally quiet, air filters keep the dust away, front ports for USB2, USB3, eSata, hot-swap SATA bays..all these features are great. It's easy to move despite the weight when totally completed. The handles on top and bottom allow for easy moving and/or sliding from side to side. No more to say. If you have no room for such a big case, then get a smaller one or make a room. Otherwise, this is the ONE!

Review Date: 02/21/12
Cons: -Extremely heavy. No one will steal this case that's for sure. Once fully loaded with hardware it will be very difficult to lift. -Build quality on the plastic is poor. I've already broken the top cover latch because it is so flimsy. When you see this part you won't believe how cheap it is. This case can easily be damaged in shipping or by grabbing any part of the case except the rails when moving it around due to the cheap fragile plastic shell. The two sliding covers on the front and fan controller also look like they could have issues down the road. - Fan controller makes loud beeps with each change in setting. - Messy to begin with due to all the fan and led controller wires. It takes time to sort them all out and one of mine was mislabeled. - Cost...obviously!

Pros: -Tons of room inside for cable management. Even with multiple GPU's and many hard drives hiding all the cables is simple. With hardly any tidying up I was able to close the side doors without issue. -Great airflow due to numerous fan locations. My lowest GPU temps are with this case. It is great that the HDD and PSU are in a separate cooling zone so these areas aren't going to affect the rest of the case.-Low noise levels. The stock fans are all very quiet and the fan controller is great. It is very easy to make this a silent case. I have only added 3 fans so far but plan to replace them all with Gentle Typhoons. The ones I have added work great in this case and push a great deal of air out the top and side panels.-Sturdy and well thought out case. Inside there are grommets everywhere for keeping cable routing tidy and the side doors are strong with metal hinges that won't wear out. -Tons of hard drive bays! 6 of them are cooled by two 120mm fans and you can remove the middle hard drive bay to accommodate another 120mm gpu fan.
Comment:
Overall this is a great case which has some flaws but they are overcome by the fact that the Cosmos 2 is a champ in the 3 main areas where it counts the most: Cooling, Noise levels, and Spaciousness. I came from a Silverstone FT02 which had great cooling itself but even so my temps are lower and I have greater control over cooling different areas of my case. I love that I can keep my HDD fans on low while giving the GPU's fans maximum cooling this helps keep the overall sound level down. This is great case for GPU's that dump hot air into the case as you can 3 120mm fans dedicated to the GPU (1 middle bay, 2 on side doors) blowing the hot air out of the case it works really well and doesn't mess up the airflow in the rest of the case due to the size.

Cons: - Price- Heavy w/o your components inside- A few wasted space- Limited space when installing a radiator on top- Non-windowed side panel- Unable to install 360 rad on top flat since there's a pertruding metal piece thats preventing it- Non-braided cables for the fan controller- No wheel kit

Pros: - Enough space to fit your kitchen and bedroom- Independent controls of LED's and Fan speed- Detachable side panels- Great airflow whether on Air or WC components- Lots of grommets and ties to keep your wiring in check- Candidate for a quiet case
Comment:
Bought this to replace my 800D thinking i could fit (2) 360 rads internally. It can be done but with a few limitations. Here's a few things ive found out during my build:- Only a slim rad can be placed on the top of the case. Even then, you have to place the fans outside of the case. Installing the rad + fans internally will prevent you from installing your mobo. I find this a big negative for a manufacturer advertising this as a WC case. Most enthusiast use some sort of WC and having no space to do a fan + rad inside the case is a big NO-NO.- Installing a 360 rad on the bottom chamber (when removing the HD cage and support) can be done. But you might need to install a threaded rod to extend the PS so your cables aren't being squished. You wont have any problems when installing a 240 rad. Even with a long PS (Corsair AX1200), wont be in the way when a 240 rad is in the bottom chamber.-The fan controller is ok. Not the greatest but it gets the job done. It seems to pulsate rather than regulate the voltages to control the fan speed. So if you have an LED fans, your light will pulsate when using Low/Mid speed. Running it on High or controlling it with a better fan controller will be a better bet.- This thing is heavy! Make sure you take the side panels off, when working on the case. Makes moving the case more feasable and easier without it.- Speaking of heavy, they should have at least included a kit to install wheels on the bottom rails. They have this on the HAF-X, i dont see how they never offered one - especially for a huge case like this.Personally, $349 for a case like this is steep. If CM tried to aim this as the same price as the Corsair 800D, then i could overlook some of its flaws. But with the flaws i came up with during my build - its hard to recommend this case for an enthusiast.

For most enthusiasts, the Pros easily outweigh the cons. The only issue I had was that my mb and the case did not allow push/pull on my H100 within the case. But I had no issues putting the pull side on the top outside of the case. Best quality case by far. The door hinges are well made, I have a total of 13 fans on this beast.
