Lots of space for most recent VGA cards, PSUs, etc. Effectively laid out. No sharp edges. Black painted inside is nice. Additional areas for fans than is even needed. Water cooling ready. The case actually is great, just be confident you know what you are receiving - the standard, not the sophisticated. I docked two eggs for advertising and marketing and client service - see under. Not only does it not come with a front five.25 to three.five" bay adapter and respective trim bezel (as most fantastic instances do), it truly is not clear to me that it does not come with this standard item. I think about this a excellent case, but come on Cooler Master! A bay adapter goes for about three bucks at the neighborhood pc shack, and I imagine the trim bezel is not considerably additional. This should be included in any modern case as most customers are going to install a card reader.CM store does not have service parts proliferated!! They can make the circumstances, but can't look to get a supply of components on hand for separate purchase. Poor, negative, bad. More on this below... I bought two CM690II cases within about a month of each and every other. I really did not comprehend that there was an "Advanced" and a "Basic" offered. The second one I bought, this 1, turned out to be a Simple. Is it my fault for not realizing there are two versions? Positive it is. Is it actually that obvious without having completely going over the specifics? Not actually. The two are extremely similar and at initial glance they actually are not distinguished very nicely. It was not a massive deal as most of the "Advanced" features are gee-wiz things that I actually wouldn't use anyway except for the above mentioned drive bay adapter which appears standard on quite a few great cases these days. CM buyer assistance is non-responsive. I had to submit an eRMA to get any interest, and voluntueered to spend for these parts even believed I think CM must send them out of fantastic will considering that I bought two instances. The response is they are available by way of the CM shop but out of stock. Hold checking back for availability. Good.

I've owned many quite a few distinct brands of circumstances prior to. But this sucker is worth far more than the Eighty dollar price tag tag. I honestly can't consider of an additional box in this price range that outperforms this factor. Being capable to route the extended wires behind the motherboard from my Silverstone PSU was effortless and very spacious. The black interior offers it that added oompf. Oh and I Really like the reality you can turn off that horrible blue fan light. Ugh. I guess I wish it would have come with more than just the 2 fans, but I am nit-picking. For this price tag you can't get a much better item.

This case appears excellent. It is roomy inside too. All my cables run behind the motherboard which tends to make it look nice and is fantastic for airflow. I also like that the rubber feet on the bottom lift the tower off of the floor. This permits the PSU to suck in cool air from underneath. I was a tiny worried about the quality of this case when ordering it (had to fit within a spending budget) due to the fact my other case is twice the price tag but it turned out to be wonderful! This is my preferred case now. The front panel has a neat searching wire mesh. The boring searching DVD Burner messes up the sleek appear of this case. My other case has a front door on it that hides these issues. Lots of room for my ASUS P7P55D EVO motherboard and HIS H465FT1GH Radeon HD 4650 video card.

NONE- I bought this case as part of a package deal, didn't truly will need a case, but it was element of the deal, the motherboard doesn't fit in properly, hence it shorts out, first I thought I had energy provide difficulty, wrong, if I place the motherboard in so it doesn't quick out, the devices that require to pluf in the back don't line up, got the energy to work. beginning put on an OS and it's DOA once more... who would of believed a case could be build so poorly? the design and style to drive bay design and style is the dummest point I've ever noticed. you can't plug something in, the plugs are on the inside of the mounts???? so what if you have lots of bays. My guess now the plugs into the front panel, may have a thing to do with it shorting out? but I'm just going to throw it away and start out over.

- Fantastic price tag for what you get- Ginormous upgradibility element- Excellent appears of you like rounded black, mesh styles- Really simple to operate with - Side Panels a small flimsy but I don't think they would in fact bend- Manual is useless Coming from an ULTRA case, what actually amazed me is the quality of this case. Incredibly effectively thought of, extremely simple to operate with.I feel I'll keep this case by way of several builds as I don't see why I would upgrade unless I want a mini-itx construct.

- Fantastic to look at- Quiet and spacious- Great capabilities- Straightforward to perform with and well-made (see CONS) - Particularly static-sensitive, to the point of getting UNUSABLE. I have been struggling for nearly 7 months with this chassis, but I've finally had it. I signed in to express how very frustrated I am with this case, and to advise other folks to stay clear. This is a really hard critique for me to create. By all implies, I adore CoolerMaster. I have frequently utilised CM instances for individual and customer builds in the past. Indeed, this is the initial CM case that I have ever had any difficulties with. In addition, CM customer service was definitely great and has sent me replacement components (top bezel). This case is, to the point of becoming unusable, so incredibly sensitive to static that I am at my wit's finish. By merely touching he exterior of the case or plugging in a USB drive or audio headset, I can make the laptop restart. I have attempted several component configurations (motherboards/power supplies).I have tried multiple anti-static options, but nothing appears to work. This is a truly good case, large and spacious, top quality constructed, feels sturdy, quite good cooling, adequate space for a large after market cooler (Cooler Master Hyper N520) and a big video card (GTX 560 Ti). Cool looking neon light on front with an on/off swith. I genuinely can't feel of any. I got mine at a retail retailer close to my home (same value), bought the rest of my components off newegg.

you can add ten fans to this negative boy though the fan below the mobo appears type of useless. Case makes cable management a breeze. removable hdd cage. Also preserve in thoughts if you eliminate the HDD cage you can only add 9 fans simply because 1 of them is attached to the hdd cage. Black interior only two fans. opening below mobo was 1ǚ inch to far up. had to uninstall my mobo to install my h70 Excellent case and at ๖ shipped it doesn't get substantially much better. Decent case. Definitely a lot of area. Quiet. Hard-drive cage must be removable. The slide-out hdd trays are sweet, but not being able to eliminate the whole housing kinda blows. The location of the PSU is a little less than desirable but it all performs. Fantastic worth for the money. Thumbs up n whatnot.

Good roomy box, excellent calbe management. Quiet, neat and has rubber legs to dampen any noise even further. The mobo screws were a bit hard to screw in. Not a significant problem. Just employed pliers to add additional torque and they went in fine soon after that. Lacks a 2.five" adapter for SSD, would appreciate that. The upscale model has these. Don't think it would cost too considerably to add it even though...

appears excellent. solid construction with thumb-screws and tool-less installation for anything just quick of the mobo mounts. I love the mounts for the tough drives so there's plenty of area for every thing installing fans on the leading of the case can be a little annoying unless you do that first. The cables from the front panel hold down the complete top panel which wants to be removed to set up the fan. absolutely the ideal case for the lowest price tag. it's very easily worth additional than what you'll pay for it

A different great Cooler Master case. I have the 1st 690 and I adore it. This one is good and a worth successor to the original. Only a couple of nit-picky issues. I liked how on the original all my screws were kept in the case (as in they have been all in a line where you could often get them if you needed a screw for the case). It's also slightly smaller on the inside. Might not match a 5970, but does fit my 5870 just fine.

This was for my individual system. Wanted one thing nice, with out spending one hundred+. This case is fantastic and I'm really happy with it. 80mm fan slot for behind the CPU is a bit also snug. I tried throwing 1 on there but I'd only recommend it if you have a actually low profile fan and/or heat shield on the back of the MB. It matches the COOLER MASTER ELITE 335 for my GF's technique. Delighted with each. Thanks as often Newegg!

Simple exterior design, lots of reduce outs to route cables through, totally tool-much less three.5" tough drive mounting, challenging drive cage for the bottom 4 drives is removable for added fans or radiator, I think up to 10 fans can be mounted inside the case, massive chunks of rubber used for the feet None truly, see beneath for prospective cons for your demands/tastes I'll be tremendously picky right here, but some may well look into these flaws:-Only 2 of the 4 5.25" drive bays use the tool-significantly less latch-It would have been nice if the rear expansion slot covers had been vented and utilized the latch like in the original 690-A lot of locations to mount fans, but it only comes with two-A tall CPU cooler will most likely not enable you to mount both fans on the side panel, so possibly it need to have just been created to match oneWould I like to have all that stuff on this case? Yeah. Am I okay with not having those attributes? Yeah.

Both had concerns with front panel audio. RealTek says "You have unplugged an audio cable" when I hadn't and audio is static. 1st 1 I thought was my fault. Removed major cover to set up a pair of fans and didnt cut the zip tie holding the FP harness to the case. A friend held it. I checked FP audio to MB connection, it was excellent. Figured I pulled wired shed when setting up fans.Second build (different hardware) I cut the zippy and CAREFULY GUIDED the entire FP harness out of situation. Similar situation with realtek and FP audio, only answer is to unplug at the MB. Buddy is OK performing this and employing just the rear audio. I'm not content he has to make the selection. Come on Cooler Master, you're much better than this. I won't purchase this CM situation again but will buy CM circumstances. I have built numerous systems and employed different situations for numerous of them. For a long time I stuck with Antec and their 300. Then a 900 and 902. I attempted CM very first with the storm scout, then the sniper, then the 932. My new preferred case is the 690 II. I have the freedom to configure fans, use LED or not and so on. Plus I dont care a lot for windows and like the option of placing a CPU exaust fan on the ideal side. I does drop temps about two-3 degrees.

terrific case, easiest construct I have completed so far. plenty of room for my 9.5" video cards. cable management is effortless to set up. cable for the power switch/usb/esata had been longer than needed. The additional expansion slot on the side is great. the tool less set up worked easily and seems to be of very good high quality. had to acquire extensions because of the bottom mount set up for the energy provide, even though i knew that going into this. depending on use for added expansion slot it could block one particular of the side panel fans. All in all I feel that I got a superb case for the funds I place out. it is a huge, heavy, & sturdy case.

Good case, nice tidy style. Almost everything fits. Great airflow. Case isn't deep enough to fit a Radeon 5970 without having ~extensive~ modification. I had to eliminate the entire 3.5" drive cage, rivets and all, to fit this monster. I'm not downrating for this as I should have checked the measurements.

Every little thing. Quiet fans. Cool. Straightforward to assemble. Nice searching. Lengthy wires. Good HDD mounting. Front ports on best. Big adequate for significant graphic cards. E-SATA port on front. These are incredibly minor: flat variety paint on side panels collects dust. Rear screws that hold side panels on can take a small fidgeting to get the holes lined up. Exterior paint is a little fragile. The mesh in the front panel and top may possibly gather some dust. Make sure the case is setting flat before you tighten the screws that hold the side panels, or the 4 feet on the bottom of the case will not be level. I like getting able to turn the front fan LED on or off. I spent a huge amount of time researching situations. This is a single of the finest circumstances you can get at any price tag.

Great case, quiet fans, sturdy, decent design, lots of HDD bays - Only 2 out of four 5.25" bays are tool-much less- No explanation of which wires are ground (determined to be the strong white ones, as you may well anticipate, by venturing a guess)- I don't have any three.five" HDD's installed, only a two.five" SSD, nevertheless it seems that you need to have to open both side panels to install or get rid of a HDD/SSD- no three.five" to 2.five" adapters integrated- no 5.25" to three.5" adapters or front panels included Pay a little extra to get the Sophisticated version, which comes with a five.25" to 3.5" adapter, a three.five" to 2.five" adapter, and 4 tool-less 5.25" bays. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811119216

Uncomplicated set up, a lot of space, excellent style, plenty of air flow, easy cable management, a lot of tricky drive bays and a lot of fan storage. Could have came with some more 120mm fans, only had two with shipment. This case is brilliant, it looks great and was quite straightforward to set up all my hardware. The only thing I didn't like was the reality that it only did come with two 120mm fans. Other then that I would advocate it to any gamer on a price range.
