I bought this to replace an old cable. It works fine with no errors. The cable was black unlike the picture. The locking mechanism works well keeping the cable in place. |

Not much to say. It has a locking mechanism but aside from that its very standard SATA cable. I was disappointed that the cable i received was in black because i wanted the orange one that was pictured to match the rest of my cables in my system. At the end of the day it doesn't matter though. It works. If you are looking to get the cable in a certain colour you might want to contact NCIX first or else you might be disappointed. |

Bought it for a PC but I havn't even used or tested it yet. Can't think of much to say about this. Standard cable, cheap price with price matching. I trust it will work fine. Picked up a variety of cables lately and these are pretty much the on par with the best. I was shipped the red colour version rather than the yellow one shown but that's no big deal. Just thought I'd mention it in case it matters to you. SATA cables with the retention clips are definately the way to go. |

I grabbed a bunch of these when they were on sale for 99 cents. It works as well as any other SATA cable would. They are quite long so there shouldn't be any issues connecting the drives in larger cases. Not thrilled with the colours, but that's not a big deal. |

Depending on the layout of SATA port, it is sometimes difficult to "unlock" clip once it is inserted and locked.

Cables work. Clip is a bonus and prevents accidental loosening. Depending on layout of SATA ports, it is sometimes difficult to remove the clip since it is locked. You may have to remove other cables to get your fingers to the "clip" to unlock before removing the cable. |

Decent quality cables with locking connectors for a more secure attachment. Colors may vary, so you may not be getting the yellow color as shown. I got red color cables. I prefer the sata right angle cables that come with my gigabyte board, the plastic coating on the cable seems to be better. But for additional cables you can't wrong. |

Well, what can I say? These are nice quality SATA cables with a locking connector on both ends. You can PM for $1 and order a bunch of them at once. I've had issues with bad quality cables corrupting data on my hard drives. These cables have solved the problem nicely.Quality-wise, they're about on the same level as the cables you would get with a brand name motherboard. The only downside is that you don't get to choose the colour. I got 4 reds and one pink. But hey, they work. |

I always use these cables when I hook up a SATA device.It's much better, because you don't have to worry about the connection coming loose. If there is an issue with the device, at least you're sure it's not caused by a loose connection. |

My cable came in red, but it doesn`t really matter. I tried plugging this into an IDE to sata converter, but the metal locking pin added just enough thickness so that I could not plug into it. Other plugs like HDD went in with ease. It was cheap and does the job. |

Got it on sale in June 09 for $1.99. Red cable. OK build quality. These are the ones with the little metal tabs on both ends that lock onto the SATA connectors on HDDs and motherboards. The locking connector is great for cases with swinging/moving HDD cages. |
These are standard sata locking cables that perform as they are supposed to. Ngear makes quality and economical cables that have never given me issues. Some of my Ngear sata cables are red, and the ones I recently ordered are black.
